08/01/2026: First of all, I want to make it clear that this review was not written under duress. More seriously, after spending four weeks in Fougères, and being originally from the south of France, I'm delighted to finally discover that not all the restaurants in Fougères are so mediocre. Let me explain: on the recommendation of my client, I discovered this bistro which offers everything that makes a good restaurant: a small but well-balanced menu, the best ingredients showcased by expertly prepared dishes, a warm welcome from the team—the owner and his waitress—all in a stylish and pleasant setting. Luckily, I'm returning for another two weeks, and this will definitely be my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it!

28/02/2026: Not very satisfied with the drive-through service. The product was marked as unavailable in my order, but when I went to the store, it was on the shelf. Furthermore, they offered me a replacement product, which I refused, and when I got home, I noticed it was still on my receipt. Well, the person didn't ask me to come back; they said they would process the refund directly to my loyalty card. I'll avoid the drive-through service from now on.

17/02/2026: After several observations about the promotions, which are likely intentional, that's it, we won't be back. We spend all our time checking and verifying our receipts.

29/11/2025: We go there regularly on Saturday lunchtimes when we're in Rennes. Never disappointed. The open-faced sandwiches and soups are very good. The welcome, decor, and atmosphere are always perfect. Craft beers and cider on tap. Very fast service.

20/02/2026: Frankly, I don't understand the bitter people who criticize this restaurant negatively. The staff is very pleasant, the food is good and you can tell it's homemade, the wait isn't excessive. If some of you want something quick, drive a few kilometers and order from McDonald's and stop being unpleasant.

22/12/2025: We stopped there for a hot drink. Very nice, warm atmosphere, perfect service and friendliness, understated setting and decor, apparently with a century of history in this place. BRAVO! We'll definitely go back sometime. 👍

29/12/2025: Contrary to other reviews, I was very disappointed with my salmon pizza... the topping was okay, but the crust was really bad! It crumbled like defrosted bread crust or a toasted taco; it was very fragile. It was impossible to eat the edges of the pizza.

02/01/2026: I used to go to Columbus Café regularly with my friends; it had become our little ritual. But learning that, on their farms, breeding sows spend almost half their lives locked behind bars is shocking. For a discerning clientele, it's incomprehensible. Columbus Café needs to take a real step forward and make a clear commitment to respecting the Pig Minimum Standards. Many of us are waiting for this change!

03/03/2026: The food lacks flavor. It's nothing like the taste of India. It's not like there, lacking spices. The pistachio ice cream, advertised as "homemade" by the waitress, is actually Metro brand.
