The waiters / waitresses will make it clear that you are not consuming enough. This makes the atmosphere heavy... And it's a shame because the food is really excellent! And the setting very pleasant.

01/11/2025: We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday and my parents' birthday. The service and cuisine were exceptional. The five-course wine pairing menu was magnificent, bursting with flavor. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Special mention goes to the sommelier, who was very professional and passionate about her work. One of the best restaurants in Nantes, easily rivaling Michelin-starred establishments.

26/01/2025: The museum cafeteria is not intended for tourists. From 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. you can only have lunch there and the Sunday I went there was fully booked. I couldn't even drink a coffee or a glass of water. I had to go out into the wind and rain and go to the station to get something to drink... Too bad.

This little bar, run for over 40 years by the legendary Raymond—a 77-year-old man with a beret and a smile that lights up everything—is a pure and simple journey through time. Imagine: a decor frozen in the 70s, with its orange Formica benches, sparkling aluminum light fixtures, and a mind-blowing collection of owl figurines everywhere (the story behind it is adorable; Raymond had a real one at home!). Add to that knick-knacks accumulated over the decades, yellowed photos, and a cozy cramped atmosphere that forces people to squeeze together... and presto, you're in an authentic cocoon where you forget the outside world. And the prices? A joke! It's the cheapest bar in Paris: a half-pint for €2, a coffee for peanuts, and Raymond refuses to raise anything, even when the end of the month is tough. 04/12/2025: You might need a little time to adjust to the waiter's (very dry) style, but don't be fooled: he's anything but rude. The dining room can get a bit noisy when it fills up, but that's to be expected at all good restaurants. After all, an enticing menu, generous and beautifully presented dishes, all at a very affordable price and served without waiting—frankly, it would be a shame if it didn't attract a crowd! I recommend this place for both lunch and dinner.
