25/08/2026: A wonderful discovery during a visit to Guérande in August 2026. Despite the sunshine, we enjoyed a cozy atmosphere in the shaded patio, savoring delicious food. The menu was quite short, a testament to the freshness of the ingredients. Everything was refined and delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the wine. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive to every request. I highly recommend this restaurant, located just outside the town walls, thus avoiding the noise of the August crowds.

17/09/2026: Fourth visit to Saint Paul, a truly excellent restaurant. The cuisine is original, highly creative, and refined. Nothing is left to chance. The welcome is that of a grand establishment, the dining room is beautiful and bright. A real sense of team cohesion is evident. A wonderful discovery in Prefailles that richly deserves a Michelin star.

16/09/2026: Very disappointed by the wait. The main course, which was quite simple and arrived an hour and fifteen minutes after the amuse-bouches. Despite the waiter's rambling apologies, this doesn't live up to the restaurant's advertised and intended standard... a shame! It spoiled what was otherwise a rather successful experience in terms of taste.

The refined, precise, and meticulously crafted cuisine presents elegant, exceptionally flavorful dishes cooked to perfection. Here, there are no "creations" served in extremely small portions, which are indeed little gems crafted by a chef who is more artist than cook. At Monsieur Gheno's, it's about haute cuisine focused on the customer's pleasure rather than flattering the creator and those who might boast of having frequented the place. The high-quality service is paradoxically more controlled and warm thanks to the younger members of the dining room staff, such as Valentin, than to the more experienced staff, who are perhaps a little weary of the routine. The wine list is remarkable, with reasonable prices for a Michelin-starred restaurant and considering the origin of the wines. If you want to experience a truly wonderful moment and savor exceptional cuisine, this is the perfect place.

With its panoramic location overlooking the Loire River and the city, it appeals to both food and view lovers. The refined examples of contemporary French cuisine and the seafood-focused tasting menus are excellent... A stylish, elegant hotel and restaurant with breathtaking river views.

13/09/2026: A very warm welcome for a family meal (16 guests). The menus had been pre-set. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The chef elevated the cuisine, which uses simple but high-quality ingredients. A great place to eat on the banks of the Loire.

09/09/2026: Excellent osteria in the heart of the Charonne district, which has changed so much (for the better!). The menu was quite short, but a good indication that the dishes are homemade, fresh daily, and regularly updated – we wanted to try everything (which we did). The appetizers (which we shared) were superb: a variation with Japanese influences on Italian classics, very creative and successful. The main courses were perhaps a notch below the initial explosion of flavors – but still very tasty, especially the tuna, which literally melted in your mouth. The only dessert (tiramisu) was rich and creamy, perhaps lacking a touch of amaretto (or alcohol in general). The portions are generous and the prices reasonable in the current climate. We couldn't finish our meal and got takeout. The servers were all lovely, very smiley, cheerful, and attentive. My daughters particularly enjoyed the slightly retro decor. The wine list was very impressive and detailed (notably attributing each Italian wine to its region of origin), but I can't comment on it as we weren't in the mood to drink (and there was no pressure whatsoever). It's a place we plan to return to; thank you for this excellent experience!

25/08/2026: Visiting Ribote for the second time, we weren't disappointed. This little crêperie on Rue Lajarrige (yes, it's best to book ahead on busy days) always offers excellent, generously filled specialties. For something sweet, try the Ribote crêpe, a combination of chocolate and raspberry.
