07/10/2025: (Voir la traduction française ci-dessous.) We visited this hotel for the restaurant specifically. They have a great little crêperie. I've had crepes across the region, but these were by far my favorite. I had a savory galette with the meal that I chose from the "build your own" menu, adding smoked sausage, cheese, and egg. And it was the best galette I've had in France. My wife agreed that her galette was the best one she's had here too. For dessert, we had caramel crepes, which had the most incredible caramel we've ever had. This is a gem in the old area of the city, and I can't recommend it enough! On est venus dans cet hôtel juste pour le resto, et franchement, leur petite crêperie est top ! J’ai goûté pas mal de crêpes dans la région, mais celles-ci sont de loin mes préférées. J’ai pris une galette salée que j’ai composée moi-même, avec saucisse fumée, fromage et œuf — et c’était la meilleure galette que j’ai mangée en France. Ma femme était d’accord : la sienne aussi était la meilleure qu’elle ait goûtée ici. En dessert, on a pris des crêpes au caramel, avec le caramel le plus incroyable qu’on ait jamais mangé. Un vrai petit bijou dans le vieux quartier de la ville — je recommande à 100 % !

06/09/2025: We came for lunch and were greeted by a waitress who didn't really know if she could serve us. Yes, outside, but if it rains, too bad for us. Not very salesy, but let's admit it. Once we were seated, we could clearly feel her annoyance. His colleague took over to serve us, an older man, he was abusively nonchalant, luckily the meal was good.

09/12/2025: We understand perfectly well that it's a restaurant and that some people don't appreciate just having a drink. No problem: everyone has their own policy, even the most... rigid. But how did they tell us? A man who blurted out: "No, we're a restaurant here, you have to eat too." Clearly, the phrase "sorry, we don't have a bar" was either too long or too polite to be on their menu. And when you look at the other reviews, everything becomes clear: the welcome we received seems perfectly aligned with the quality of the food served. At least they have a certain consistency... unfortunately not the kind you expect from an establishment. In short, if you're looking for a place where they make you feel the weight of your presence even before you sit down, you'll find it. For everyone else, it's best to avoid this place where the light of hospitality seems to have gone out long ago.

15/03/2026: Not worth it! You have to come right when they open, because restocking the buffet becomes a hassle afterward. I ordered baked salmon and stir-fried noodles, since the buffet was empty. They did restock, but the salmon was cold—I'd never heard of cold baked salmon! What a shame. The dining room is very noisy with cutlery being wiped, and the servers' conversations are also very audible... the restrooms are awful. The storefront is completely uninviting, and the parking lot is tiny. I'm very disappointed, especially since it had closed a few months ago. I thought it would have done them good! Not so! Keep walking

22/02/2026: We booked for Valentine's Day and were delighted to discover a beautifully decorated room and a complimentary glass of champagne. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded and thank the staff for this thoughtful touch. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom, as well as the hotel as a whole, was impeccable. We have absolutely no complaints; well done and thank you to the cleaning team. We dined at the restaurant with a special menu for that evening. Thank you to the chef for the delicious dishes. If I had one comment, it would be about the portion sizes—perhaps not quite enough, but that's just my opinion. The service was pleasant; thank you to the lady and the bartender for their warm welcome and kindness. Thank you also to the reception team, who were professional, friendly, and helpful.

18/02/2026: Very well located, right next to the convention center and the city center is easily accessible on foot. Clean and comfortable room.

31/01/2026: Having ordered from them many times, I can say they're a reliable choice in Couëron. The food is good, and they're always friendly, punctual, and dependable. Top-notch.

27/08/2025: "Homemade" was advertised, but the tuna tartare was frozen and watery. The service was chaotic and uncoordinated, with a waiter running around. It looked more like a bar than a bistro restaurant, and the lack of fish on the port menu was surprising. One might wonder if there was actually a chef in the kitchen. More frozen than anything else, so move on.

18/10/2025: Bar closes at 1:00 AM 12:30 AM they serve us a drink 12:40 AM you leave We don't drink straight down🤣 I'm trying to understand given the time They tell me they have to clean up 😅 (put closing at 12:30 AM in this case) And a "bouncer" who's rude We're not getting carried away either 🤣 we were just non-drunk customers, I should point out I have a hard time when people speak rudely to me... This same person even took it upon himself to turn us away at a nearby establishment 😅 There you go I'm just sharing an experience

01/02/2026: A very, very bad experience. What a disappointment! There were four of us adults, and I had booked by phone that morning (which was pointless given the number of covers served). The owner was very friendly. The gizzard salad: 6 lettuce leaves, 3 bacon bits, 3 gizzards, not even a small crouton, but let's move on. Two rib steaks and two entrecote steaks: the two entrecote steaks were fairly good in the center, but the outside was truly spoiled. We were nauseous; the taste and smell were unbearable! When we pointed it out, the owner came to our table and offered the excuse that it must have been soaked in blood and that's where the smell was coming from, except that it was the disgusting taste and smell... The desserts were okay, although the tarte tatin was barely cooked (the pastry), and the profiteroles were excellent. All that for a bill of €160 and not even an apology or a gesture from the owner when we paid... No wonder there were so few customers when the other restaurants were packed... Never again. They were lucky no one got sick, but it would have been worth a good little inspection by the veterinary services to set this gentleman straight... Oh yes, I forgot, they advertise wood-fired grilling: in fact, it's charcoal on the fireplace, and while the meat is burning, the owner goes back to the kitchen for what feels like an eternity... In short, a very, very bad experience for this restaurant, which was quite well-regarded just a few years ago... but now, run away!!!

04/01/2026: The owner is super nice and a good cook. I had a pork knuckle cooked in the fireplace, it was delicious! I highly recommend it and will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

19/03/2026: We were in the area for a training course and had lunch as a group, with a reservation. Everything was perfect, and the beef skewer was exquisite. Thank you.

09/02/2026: Visited on February 9th, truly perfect, quality meat (flank steak), homemade fries, varied all-you-can-eat buffet, dynamic and attentive waitress, generous portion, fast service, good experience to repeat.
