10/10/2025: A magnificent room. Very refined cuisine, dishes very well presented. Impeccable service. Bravo to the chef, it's really an address to remember.

16/08/2024: It’s a very nice discovery that we made here! In the heart of the pedestrian street, we had dinner on the terrace. A great welcome! The waitress is super professional and smiling. The establishment offers a catering service and takeaway meals. We had a starter, a main course and a dessert. A cold zucchini and coconut soup with goat cheese and lavender ice cream for the lady, super fresh; and for me, a crispy hot goat cheese, and a small salad. Very good! For main course, a good fish and chips, and half a duck breast to die for! Small disappointment for the desserts, decent chocolate mousse, and French toast with no surprise flavors, even a little too toasted. We recommend this establishment twice as much. You will not be disappointed with the plate and it is good value for money.

16/08/2024: Bel endroit, mais restaurant qui se prend pour ce qu’il n’est pas,un grand restaurant. Le pavé de bœuf demandé saignant, arrive bien cuit et sans couteau à viande, et que dire de ce pavé de bœuf digne d’une mauvaise grande surface. Bref pour la viande préférez Buffalo Grill. Les personnes qui ont pris du poisson n’ont pas été déçues par contre.

26/06/2025: UPDATE: I tried again at lunchtime with a 1.5-hour break. Despite this extended time, it was still impossible to get served for a main course and dessert. The waiter was alone, and the service was still slow. I specifically asked not to be charged for the desserts, since they weren't served and weren't eaten. The waiter assured me this would be taken into account… only to end up charging me exactly the same price as for a full meal. ➡️ This is therefore a lie, and in my opinion, a dishonest, even abusive, practice. If you consistently apply a set menu, then at least have the honesty to clearly state it—or make sure you can deliver on your promises regarding service. Like many, I don't appreciate being taken for a fool, and I won't make this mistake again. This was the last time. ---- My colleague and I visited this restaurant several times last summer and appreciated the manager's warm welcome, the terrace, and the quality of the food. Unfortunately, our last two visits were much less positive. On both occasions, we were charged for the entire menu when we only ordered the daily special, as we didn't have time for the rest (it's impossible to eat in an hour there). Beyond questioning the legality of this charge, it's simply not good business practice to charge full price to someone who doesn't order the entire menu, especially when it's mainly due to the speed of the service. Given this practice, we probably won't be going back, which is a shame considering our initial positive impression.

03/12/2025: Great student bar; they offer good discounts for regular customers. The servers are very friendly. I highly recommend it.

13/09/2025: Very good restaurant. Came on Saturday, the menus are very good and generous. Very nice frog legs, discovery of verbena and pine cone liqueur. Don't hesitate to stop there. We will come back

26/01/2025: A superb discovery! A refined and calm restaurant, super cozy in the evening. The setting is really beautiful, the staff lovely. Meal-wise it was a little more expensive than I imagined but really good and beautiful. The value for money is perfect, you just have to remember that you are not in a small bistro but in a level above. A short menu but with a little bit of everything and above all homemade and local. We will return with the greatest pleasure 🥰

23/06/2025: A good restaurant. While the storefront may not look like much, the interior of the restaurant has a nice decor, featuring a cool display case displaying the fish. The sushi is made on-site and is of good quality, the fish is fresh and tasty, the staff is friendly, and the portions are generous. A very good place, I recommend it.

19/06/2025: Not many people in the restaurant, but the waiters are fixing their hair and talking amongst themselves. The service is very long.

10/12/2025: We made a last-minute reservation for a group and were very well received and had a wonderful meal.

02/11/2025: We're definitely not going back!!!! I asked for the mojito to be remade; it was full of black, slimy bits floating in the water. The veal Milanese was like cardboard ham, yuck!!! The pesto on the pasta wasn't good quality. I asked the cook for an explanation, and his response was, "The meat comes from a butcher in Saint-Genest." I highly doubt it!!!! The pizza was thin and not very good, just like everything else. A complete disaster 🙄 Very disappointed. We didn't order dessert. The owner told us when we paid, "I'll give you the aperitifs on the house, and I don't think we'll see you again!"

05/01/2025: A beautiful inn with lots of promises and quality local products, a service provided by two young waitresses full of good will, just lacking the consideration of the owners, the table was not ready when we arrived, reservation for 11 people…., the dishes were not served at the same time and the desserts…., chocolate mousse not of the day or too much of the day….?? And not a word from the boss to know if we are satisfied…. In short, hostel also rhymes with sympathy…., too bad….

04/11/2025: A vintage bistro with exceptional value for money. These days, you rarely find such delicious traditional cuisine. Fresh, well-prepared ingredients, and finally, some options featuring vegetables. The stuffed cabbage was superb, and they even adapted it to my request with a leek fondue instead of the usual rice, and a coffee for €12.50. A very attentive waitress. A warm welcome for other latecomers, unlike some restaurants that are now turning up their noses after 1:30 pm. Thank you.

11/10/2025: We rode hire bikes from Vienne for a late lunch. (41 km return ride along Le Rhone trail.) The very traditional French lunch was lovely. No other tourists there; but still pretty busy. A great experience.
