05/04/2026: We had a very good meal there and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The nice restaurant was a 10-minute bike ride from the camping car park. The owner kindly locked our bikes in a garage for us during our stay.

04/04/2026: Hello, I had never ordered pizzas from this chain before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are original and very good, and the delivery was quick and careful (However, I'm deducting one star for the slightly high delivery cost, which is a shame, and the difficult parking access). 29/04/2026: The only restaurant open on Wednesday evenings in Charlieu outside of the holidays! Luckily, it's good. A small terrace overlooking a little pedestrian street. Very pleasant. We had pan-fried prawns, a generous portion. They should provide a table warmer as they get cold quickly. A good, unpretentious place.

08/04/2026: My experience that evening was full of surprises. Indeed, during an evening out with my colleagues, we sat down at this restaurant. The welcome was quite warm, but it was enough to make some tourists, passing by on the street in front, grumble, more than surprised by the rather high prices and a rather limited choice of dishes (searetare €32 😱). So we left. The service was still quite good, though, with a bonus point for the small table lamps. Thank you. See you soon.

02/04/2026: For me, this is the best pizzeria in the area, with original recipes. Just look at how busy it is to see why. The pizzas are admittedly a bit more expensive than in other restaurants, but you get what you pay for. The only downside is getting in touch with them by phone. The line is often down or out of order...

01/04/2026: I had the lunch special and it was absolutely delicious. It's the best restaurant in the world ❤️. Rayan, 8 years old. Fast and attentive service, affordable prices. We come regularly and are never disappointed. We highly recommend it.

27/04/2026: An excellent restaurant for a Belgian beer, hamburger and homemade authentic Belgian frites. Pascal the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained the process of preparation for both the hamburger and the frites. Everything was excellent, and made for a memorable evening! Merci beaucoup Pascal!

09/05/2026: Home-style cooking with good value for money. Terrace in summer. A good place to stop if you're visiting the nearby Museum of Art and Industry. Reservations recommended for lunch.

12/03/2026: A truly varied selection of crêpes, galettes, and salads! We ate there twice this week and received a very warm welcome, full of humor and kindness. They gave us excellent advice, and we even got to try their chestnut ice cream and Paris-Brest pastry. Nico and Christelle are wonderful people, and we also caught a glimpse of the chef, who is always smiling and very welcoming. One thing is for sure: next time we're in the area, we'll be back!

01/03/2026: A wonderful Breton discovery. Lots of choices, the portions are generous, but above all, delicious. The owner was incredibly welcoming. Thank you so much, we had a lovely time and a good laugh thanks to the mojitos (the girls' table).

11/05/2026: Great kebab! The lady is very kind and always smiling, and the welcome is warm from the moment you arrive. The gentleman makes excellent kebabs, generously filled and delicious. You feel very welcome and the service is quick. I highly recommend this place!

04/04/2026: The food wasn't good, but the service was appalling. Don't be in a hurry; we arrived at 8:00 PM and weren't served until 9:40 PM—unbelievable and unacceptable! Three other tables were served ahead of us, unbelievable. The owner claimed there was a problem in the kitchen, which I can understand, but he didn't offer any compensation, not even a simple coffee. Nothing. What a shame.

03/04/2026: We booked at 8:00 PM and were served at 9:30 PM. The owner told us there was a problem, but the issue is that six other people arrived much later and were served immediately. It's a shame.

11/05/2026: The staff were very friendly and professional, the place was very clean, but the click and collect service was awful. I placed my order at 12:05 PM and picked it up at 12:51 PM, but still nothing, no order. Everyone else was served before me, even those using the click and collect service, even though I'd been in the parking lot for 40 minutes. This is unacceptable! I started work at 1:00 PM and I wouldn't even have time to eat or get my order.

09/05/2026: Warning: I just bought a McFlurry and I wasn't paying attention; they only fill them halfway. Keep a close eye on your orders.

16/05/2026: A friend had made a reservation for us. I knew Le Grillon from when it was under the previous owner; it had a very nice menu. I was very surprised to find only two dishes to choose from, with no menu available. Neither appealed to me, but there were no other options. The owner's odd comments about the sugar content of my choices sealed the deal. It's a shame because the setting is lovely, but I won't be back.

20/03/2026: Lunch was a bit disappointing. We ordered the Saint-Marcelin duck burger with grated cheese. The burger was average and a little unbalanced: the Saint-Marcelin cheese was simply placed on top of the steak, with only two small pieces of duck breast hidden underneath. The grated cheese, on the other hand, was delicious, but on its own... and very small. For the price, we would have appreciated a bit more generosity and attention to presentation, as the potential is there. I must, however, commend the kindness and professionalism of the waitresses, which made the experience pleasant nonetheless.
