04/12/2025: A truly excellent experience; I spent a week there. First of all, the hotel itself is very comfortable, the bedding is lovely, and the rooms are pleasant. Not to mention the staff, who are always smiling and attentive. Tell me, what's the smallest problem their guests might have? For example, Yasmine in the dining room is always on hand to serve you a quality meal, and all the daily specials are excellent—that's what I ordered this week. You also have Maxence and Valentin, sometimes in the dining room, sometimes at reception—lovely people, very attentive, who are a perfect example of how this profession can be, if you don't understand, always easy. And let's not forget the person who manages this place with a master's touch, always smiling, often there in the morning at 6:30 am and also in the evening at 10 pm. And Raphaël, who prepared the superb dishes you can discover, which are also excellent. So, an establishment I gladly recommend. Thank you for the week I spent with you.

24/06/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly: soggy spring rolls, tasteless pasta and chicken, ordered on Uber. Non-existent seasoning. Run away, there's much better in Saint-Étienne.

02/11/2025: We used to love this restaurant, but it changed ownership in July. We tried it today and were disappointed... The food itself was still excellent, no complaints there. However, the service was poor. Two waitresses were unfriendly and didn't even greet us, and one waiter was overly chatty. The wine list was overflowing. The new owner walked right through the dining room, no greeting, not a word... It used to be so welcoming and friendly. Best of luck. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars, but the rating system won't change.

03/12/2025: Before ordering a Yule log for Christmas, I decided to try different flavors. Today, I'm testing the Ardèche cake and its new recipe. The cake is very good, but the chestnut flavor isn't prominent enough. The blackcurrant overpowers the chestnut mousse, which is too small. There are very few pieces of candied chestnut. The vanilla mousse is good. One expects a strong chestnut flavor from the Ardèche cake, which it doesn't.

13/09/2025: As regulars at this pastry shop, we used to feast on their mille-feuille pastry. Everything about this cake was perfect. Today, this monument of pastry has been replaced by a cylindrical cake made almost entirely of a large quantity of cream with no particular flavor. This new version of the mille-feuille has absolutely nothing to do with the real mille-feuille, which is and remains a monument of French pastry. Whoever invented and made this new version would have been better off staying in bed. Fortunately, other cakes are raising the bar.

Main course: fish (much overcooked, water on the plate) served with "frozen" carrot puree that adds nothing, too bland, not satisfying, tasteless, no pepper, no salt, a bit acidic even, this dish lacks smoothness, flavor, and deliciousness, a shame! Dessert: sponge cake filled with cream and fresh fruit, pleasant at the end of the meal. Very friendly, efficient team.

21/12/2024: They took me and my friend the wrong way and called us harassers when we were just having fun tonight It’s always the same in these places where we can’t laugh like everyone else… However, I am a respectable person as any customer will tell you But I certainly didn’t consume enough for the establishment…

29/09/2024: Nothing to complain about the food, however at the drive-thru there is a huge waiting time! And the menu panel placed in front of the terminal is not ideal... putting it before will save time in order to choose in advance and not when ordering... too bad.
