30/08/2024: We used to come a lot before, but for some time now... a disaster. The service and friendliness is really no longer there. The pizzas have changed, not for the better. And the fougasses have shrunk in size. However, the price has absolutely not changed. In short, it's a shame since it was really very good before. This will be our last time.

The hotel is a restaurant,
The tiramisu is excellent.
You can eat on the nice shaded terrace.
In the bedroom a kitchenette microwave fridge sink.
The location is next to a road but there is no noise so no worries.
The staff is friendly as well as the boss and room staff very efficient.

Very good value for money, generous portions, warm and smiling staff. I, who don't like waiting to eat, was impressed by the speed of service and quality meats. Nothing to complain about. I highly recommend.

Great food, came out quite quickly. Cheeseburger was VERY good - best burger I’ve had in years. The Coquillette was really good. Service was friendly.
Cool things: QR code to see the menu in English; QR code to be able to select the music being played.
Highly recommended.

20/09/2024: I don't like to be "mean" about reviews but we left this restaurant with the distinct feeling of having been robbed. Mediocre food, considerable waiting time, “Parisian” prices. 7 euros extra because you share your dish with your 2.5 year old child is more than excessive. 25 min wait for a dessert that we ended up canceling because it was so long (simple scoops of ice cream though). Foccacia served which is not really one in reality... In short, it only survives by foreign tourists who visit the castle. Not possible otherwise. Avoid unless there is a radical change.

01/09/2024: Delighted to have found this Italian restaurant where we ate excellent pizza and amazing ice cream. In addition, the rosé from Italy was refreshing and fruity.
Only one small downside, the takeaway which slows down the service in the room but the manager's kind smile forced us to forget this point.
In the end, congratulations, you are great people.
When we return to Gien, we will have dinner at your place.

02/04/2024: Absolutely fantastic this "troquet"... with a resolutely ROYAL welcome! The atmosphere at lunch on Saturday, March 23 was incredible, filled with regulars, and even a Hispanic music group passing by to accompany the rays of sunshine that lit up the bay window. We invented a new recipe: the “double cheese burger” = Savoyard + Auvergne burger all in one. The boss, with incredible blonde hair, was very kind, and so was the whole team. We can't wait to come back during our next visit to Orléans! xx
