07/06/2026: Discovered by chance last Sunday, and what a wonderful find it was! A cozy, tastefully decorated place with very relaxing background music. The crêpes were delicious; the Maroilles crêpe was divine, paired with a glass of wine called "Le Caprice," which was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a quiet, unique place to eat with soothing background music, head to La Vour Julot. Thank you for this truly delightful experience; we'll be back! 😊

28/05/2026: An absolute gem in Melrand: In my all-time Top 5! If you're traveling through central Brittany, forget the tourist traps on the coast and stop in Melrand. I mean it: this crêperie is one of the five best places I've ever had the pleasure of eating crêpes (and believe me, the competition is fierce).

A very kind and friendly owner, a professional waiter with a radiant smile, delicious burgers, a charming interior, reasonable prices, good wine and good beer. What more could you ask for? 30/05/2026: This is a great pub, a little piece of England with some great beers, and food cooked by Landlord/owner John. We are travelling in our Motorhome and John kindly allowed us to stay the night on the large carpark belonging to the pub, if you buy food and beer, no fee for the stopover. Naomi was running the bar, so friendly and speaks perfect English too. The steak burger was delicious and the salmon dish light and healthy. The beers, (real ale on draught) were superb. We ran a tab and paid for everything at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in this area. Thank you.

30/06/2026: The experience was mixed. The welcome could have been warmer, as first impressions are important. On the other hand, the waitress who served us was smiling and pleasant throughout the meal, which was appreciated. The dishes were decent, but the prices seemed a bit high considering the overall experience.

13/06/2026: I absolutely don't understand all the positive reviews about this establishment. I honestly feel like we didn't go to the same restaurant. For a bill of around €150, the experience was very disappointing and, in our opinion, absolutely did not justify the price. The dishes try to be sophisticated, but at the expense of flavor. Some flavor combinations seemed completely unsuitable: the anise on the gravlax salmon completely masked its flavor, the white wine jelly with the foie gras added nothing of interest, and the duck breast arrived so overcooked that we had to send it back to the kitchen. This is an address we would not recommend and we strongly advise you to avoid. This establishment is truly worthless.

The best part: they're prepared right in front of you, guaranteeing freshness and expertise. Despite the €10 pizza night, there wasn't too long a wait, and the service was truly top-notch and incredibly warm. In short, a hidden gem for true pizza lovers. We'll definitely be back!

I used to go there with my grandmother from the time I was born until I was 14, then life took a turn and I stopped going for a few years... but rest assured, the galettes are still just as delicious as ever! I go back every year when I visit Brittany, and it's always a treat! The galette recipe is unique, both soft and crispy with pieces of buckwheat. Order a plain one so as not to spoil the flavor! The recipe has been passed down from father to children; would you be willing to pass it on to me too? 🤩 In short, a wonderful family-run place that takes me right back to my childhood every time!
