18/09/2026: Parking is available near this charming cul-de-sac, surrounded by lovely greenery and bathed in beautiful evening light. The room was simple yet spotless, with a comfortable bed and incredibly quiet at night! Excellent value for money and top-notch service. The breakfast was perfect, featuring delicious baguettes and homemade jams, among other things. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

26/09/2026: Fantastic atmosphere, a truly unique and idyllic setting, and a very welcoming, smiling, and lovely lady. She also designs beautiful bags and wallets. The music was perfectly suited to the occasion and much appreciated. 🎶 We loved it and will definitely be back! 🤗👍

24/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Chebaudière. The food was delicious, a lovely blend of flavors, and the whole family enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and we appreciated the friendly service and warm welcome.

14/08/2026: The welcome was polite but impersonal. My main course wasn't cooked and, after being sent back to the kitchen, was barely warm. The portions were tiny. My teenager left hungry and needed a pasta dish to take home. We hadn't even finished our aperitifs when the starters were served.... It's a shame, it was a place I remembered fondly... I might give it another try, we'll see. Perhaps it was the heatwave...

10/09/2026: We recently dined at Don Camillo and were pleasantly surprised. I chose a pizza pollo and my partner a salad with a pizetta. We were unfamiliar with that concept, where you combine a salad with a smaller pizza, but it is truly a brilliant idea. Both dishes were very tasty and prepared with great flavor. To finish, I enjoyed a homemade tiramisu and a decaf coffee, which was a perfect and fitting end to the meal. In addition, the service was friendly and attentive, and we did not have to wait long at all for our food. In short, a very pleasant experience with delicious food, good service, and an original concept.

15/09/2026: Hello, We first came in June and were very disappointed by the attitude of a waitress: no smile, no friendliness, a cold and unpleasant demeanor from beginning to end. My son accidentally spilled a drink, and instead of showing even a modicum of understanding, we clearly sensed her annoyance. At that point, I even wondered what she was doing in a customer-facing role. Today, my partner and I returned, thinking things might be better. Unfortunately, it was the same story. We simply asked her for something, politely, with an "excuse me" and a "please," but we were met with the same unpleasant and haughty attitude. To top it all off, my partner got up to get some Parmesan cheese, and this same waitress came back and verbally attacked him in front of everyone, making a huge scene, even going so far as to say, "This is my restaurant." If this is indeed "her restaurant," then she should introduce us to the real owner so we can discuss directly with him how customers are treated. We are customers; we don't expect to be treated like royalty, simply with respect, politeness, and professionalism. Friendliness and a smile shouldn't be optional in a service industry. After two such unpleasant experiences, we won't be returning. Perhaps it would be better to change careers if interacting with customers is so difficult. We were very disappointed by this welcome and attitude.

26/09/2026: Cyclist: very spacious tent pitch with the option of setting up in the shade or sun as desired. Rates from €10.60 per night. Very well maintained. Excellent advice and welcome.

29/09/2026: Disappointed. We ordered two set menus at €16.50 each, with a glass of wine (€6.00, 12.5 cl) and a bottle of sparkling water (€3.50, 50 cl). The vegetables and fish were frozen. It's a shame, the menu is appealing and the terrace is sunny.

04/10/2026: Very disappointing experience despite reserving months in advance We made our reservation at Crapule eight months in advance and had been looking forward to dinner here during our visit to Vannes. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Service was very slow and inattentive, and we repeatedly felt overlooked while other tables received attention. As English-speaking visitors, we were left with the uncomfortable impression that the staff preferred to avoid dealing with us. The final straw came when we ordered the lieu jaune (pollock) and were told it was sold out. Shortly afterward, we watched that same dish being served to a French-speaking table that had arrived after us. Restaurants occasionally run out of dishes, and we completely understand that. But being told something was unavailable and then watching it served to customers who arrived later—combined with the slow and unwelcoming service—was unacceptable. We decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. After reserving eight months ahead, this was certainly not the experience we expected and was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences of our trip through Brittany.

29/08/2026: I read on Google that the information was last updated three weeks ago. I called to make a reservation, and it just kept ringing after 8 to 10 rings, no answering machine. We still drove 20 km to eat mussels... and it was closed. This means these businesses don't care about their customers. The service and the food must be pretty much the same. I won't be going.

A very kind and friendly owner, a professional waiter with a radiant smile, delicious burgers, a charming interior, reasonable prices, good wine and good beer. What more could you ask for? This would be/become my favorite bar/restaurant if I lived here. Thank you and all the best!

30/05/2026: This is a great pub, a little piece of England with some great beers, and food cooked by Landlord/owner John. We are travelling in our Motorhome and John kindly allowed us to stay the night on the large carpark belonging to the pub, if you buy food and beer, no fee for the stopover. Naomi was running the bar, so friendly and speaks perfect English too. The steak burger was delicious and the salmon dish light and healthy. The beers, (real ale on draught) were superb. We ran a tab and paid for everything at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in this area. Thank you.
