27/07/2024: Very pleasant and smiling staff who put you at ease. Very good pizzas. Very good quality/price ratio. A small inn, small local bistro which is worth the detour for the kindness and the good meal at a very reasonable price. We recommend this place where many locals meet. We will come back.

22/07/2024: Le Cadre, une ancienne prison, est certainement l'atout majeur du restaurant. La cour intérieure, entourés de hauts murs et fenêtres à barreaux, est originale. La cuisine sort avec bonheur des classiques italiens, mais les portions (hormis pour la pizza) sont congrues.

19/07/2024: Beaucoup trop cher , on se croirait à Paris au vue des prix pratiqués mais hélas nous ne sommes qu'à Thionville, essai non concluant,nous oublions ce restaurant

09/08/2024: Une belle soirée autour d' une excellente pizza garnie de produits italiens de qualité. Nous avons dégusté la pizza du mois! Quel régal! Je recommande ce restaurant pour ses pizzas et son personnel avenant.

13/09/2024: Customer for a while, the quality is there, another bakery that still does “homemade” stuff, that’s a good point. On the other hand, at the moment we have to let go. Lack of products, 9:30 a.m. some things are not yet in the window... Be careful not to ruin everything. I will change the rating if I see improvement on my next visit.

09/07/2025: I took advantage of the dampfnüdel day. The restaurant is really special, stuck in the 70s. But what food, goddamn it!! Bean soup with or without cream (to be specified when ordering) and above all dampfnüdel to feed a regiment. And when you say you're not going to have dessert, the owner tells you that it's already on its way, included in the package. Go there on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (after reservation, otherwise you won't get your 4 to 6 dampfnüdel per person...)! Price-wise: €66 for three with drink and coffee. To try for the dampfnüdel!!!

27/04/2025: An… original experience! At first glance, the Auberge de la Frohmuhl doesn't necessarily make you want to linger... but my boyfriend and I chose to try the adventure. Upon entering, the very “time travel” atmosphere surprised us a lot: a dark space near the bar, a few silent people around a candle… very special! The restaurant is huge but almost empty, with only a few customers before us. The waitress, not very smiling but efficient, took our order. The prices are quite high for what is offered (a vegetable omelette around €20…). As for the meal, I had a maître d’hôtel butter steak with vegetables, and my friend had a Margherita pizza. The pizza was not very visually appetizing and even lacked basil. We ate “well”, but nothing more, and we didn’t hang around. An experience to live… but not necessarily to repeat for us. Thanks nevertheless to the team.

09/03/2024: Le bouche à oreilles… Une amie exigeante m’a parlé de ce petit endroit sans prétention où il fait bon être. Depuis je ne peux aller à Metz sans m’arrêter chez Nour. Le thé est excellent. Les pâtisseries nous régalent et Nour nous remplit de sa gentillesse, de sa bienveillance, de son sourire… et très vite, on n’a plus envie de partir. Alors à très bientôt évidemment!
