20/09/2026: A vintage, slightly quirky decor that perfectly matches the ambiance of the place. We were greeted with great class and humor, which was very pleasant. As for the food, everything was truly delicious. Generous portions, "family-style" dishes with beautiful presentation, cooked exactly as requested, and a light and delectable dessert. And I'll say it again, the service was exceptional! All of this makes this the best culinary experience I've ever had!

14/08/2026: First visit to this chip shop, chosen for its good rating and convenient location. The welcome was warm: the owner took the time to listen to requests, including modifications and hesitations, without any impatience. The fries perfectly matched the photos: crispy and flavorful. The cheese sandwich (garden salad, baker's bread, onions, tomatoes, and 100% pure beef patty) was also excellent: lean meat, fresh ingredients, and a good balance. The price-quality ratio was reasonable (€7 for an average order of fries and the sandwich). It would also be interesting to explore new, more original recipes, with a few twists that stand out from the crowd. My only slight disappointment was the inability to offer homemade sauces, a regulatory constraint mentioned by the owner. For a passing customer, the storefront also appears a bit monotonous; a refresh could improve its marketing appeal without compromising the quality of service or the overall experience. A pleasant surprise. If I'm ever in the area again, I won't hesitate to come back.

19/09/2026: We discovered this restaurant while visiting the city. The food was excellent, with sophisticated dishes, everything was homemade, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. I highly recommend it.

19/09/2026: Clean, with a relaxed atmosphere despite being lunchtime, and a good selection of music. Quick service. Good wines. Good Sauvignon Blanc, average Médoc red: lacking color. The dishes reflect local ingredients with seasonal vegetables and exquisite new potatoes. The cod loin with black rice and sauce is excellent. Portion size: not enough for my taste, but perhaps I was too hungry. Recommended. P.S. Two very good local draft beers.

23/07/2026: Simple cuisine – simply delicious If you love shellfish and other seafood, this is the place for you. The menu is concise, but everything on it is delicious and worth the price. Lobster from €25 and the whelks with mayonnaise… plus a suitable wine and dessert. Just try it!

08/09/2026: First visit to Le Petit Blangy for lunch for two. With a warm welcome, we discovered plant-based cuisine and thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the main course to dessert. Reservations for lunch are highly recommended.

11/10/2026: Lost wallet, very kind security guard who searched the entire casino from top to bottom to find it. We then asked the manager to check the security cameras... very cold, zero empathy towards a young woman who had lost her wallet, and told us to call next week and that they could only check the security cameras starting Monday 🤡 Supposedly he had too much to do... Customer Service Needs IMPROVEMENT...

11/10/2026: Excellent restaurant. One minor drawback: the main course was a little light on meat. The profiteroles were amazing!

01/09/2026: Honestly, I'm 40 years old and I've never eaten better pizza than at this place. All the ingredients are fresh and of very high quality. A lot of the ingredients are locally sourced, and the price isn't any higher than at other pizzerias. So if you want to eat a really good pizza, this is the place to go. I reserve by phone, and when I arrive, they put it in the oven so I can leave with a piping hot pizza. This is the first time I've given such a high rating, but it definitely deserves it.

22/10/2026: The fresh meat wok was tasty: freshly prepared and well-seasoned. The play area for children is also a nice plus, allowing us to eat in peace while they entertained themselves. Unfortunately, the ready-made Chinese buffet was disappointing: the food was cold. When we pointed this out, we were told that the temperature control was still set to "summer mode," because the food does not need to be as hot due to the temperature inside the restaurant. It was subsequently turned up, but this explanation raised doubts about food safety. Hot food is supposed to be kept properly hot, regardless of the season.

27/09/2026: Following a sporting event, we went to this restaurant on a Sunday at lunchtime after checking its overall rating… and it was well deserved! Our table was set up on the outdoor terrace since the weather was sunny and still summery, but the owner was kind enough to ask if that was alright with us. A high chair was offered for a young child and a booster seat for a slightly older one, and the parasols were adjusted—perfect! Once we were seated and the menus were handed out, the owner literally explained the origin of the poultry, the fresh produce, the fact that 98% of the menu items are homemade (except for the ice cream and donuts), and the fact that they work with local suppliers—we approve! Half of our group was there just for a drink, but, charmed by the menu, the ladies all stayed to eat with us! Upon arrival of the dishes, it was immediately clear that the quality was excellent. The promise was fulfilled, and we devoured every last bite (I chose the quarter of grilled yellow chicken with thyme, a true delight). The waiter even checked during our meal to ensure we were satisfied and if we needed anything else. Then came the desserts, and the same was true – no one was disappointed (French toast-style brioche, vanilla ice cream, salted caramel: very good and well-balanced). The bill came to under €80 for two adult meals and one child's meal, including a small (and well-deserved) tip. We will gladly return to your restaurant if we are ever back in the Lens area. Please don't change a thing; it was perfect for us.
