28/12/2025: Ultimately, calling this a canteen is almost unfair… to canteens in general. Because a canteen, at least, owns up to what it is. Here, we're dealing with a canteen that fancies itself a fine dining establishment, with gourmet prices and an ambition clearly inspired by Michelin stars—an ambition unfortunately far beyond its actual capabilities. The waitress seems to want to play in the high-end league: haughty posture, calculated distance, superior airs. The problem is that neither the food, nor the service, nor the overall experience lives up to it. By trying so hard to rub shoulders with stars without actually being up to the task, they end up making a fool of themselves. On the plate: utter banality. Nothing wrong, nothing successful, nothing memorable. But rest assured, the bill is ambitious. In fact, it's the only truly premium aspect of the experience 🍾 The social experience deserves a special mention: coldness, discomfort, a persistent feeling of being a nuisance. We're not here for dinner; we're witnessing a demonstration of how not to entertain. A useful comparison: Cora's cafeteria is better, costs less, and, most importantly, doesn't pretend to be something it's not! In short: canteen-style dining, awkwardness on the plate, prestige only on the bill.

17/05/2026: Hello, There's no wait if you have a reservation. The welcome is very courteous. The staff is attentive. The service is a little slow, but the dishes are beautifully presented. The temperature is perfect. The quality and taste are excellent. I highly recommend it because this restaurant is worth the trip. Thank you to the team.

30/04/2026: We ordered the warm goat cheese salad for €18 because we saw a gentleman eating it. What a disappointment to discover it wasn't at all like the gentleman's, who was surely a local! We got the tourist version! Just green salad and a few grated vegetables, four small warm goat cheeses wrapped in a brick pastry bag, and the ingredient that disgusted us... unpopped, stale popcorn. Honestly, they're ripping us off for this €18 dish. Avoid it, because we saw the other dishes which didn't look appetizing at all.

15/06/2026: We went as a group of 8 people. 3 ate entrecote (dry and tough meat), 2 people ate pasta (tasteless). 3 ate the duck, which was okay. Expensive for what they offered.

13/06/2026: I don't usually leave ratings or reviews, but my partner and I had such a disastrous experience that I feel compelled to... We ordered grilled octopus that arrived practically cold and anything but grilled, a salad that was as bland as could be... mussels marinière that were barely edible and literally swimming in murky water... The food has nothing to do with Niçoise cuisine, just like the people who run the place. A waitress, presumably the owners' daughter, who would be wise to consider a career change... We replaced one dish with another, which was edible, but nothing special... This restaurant may cater to tourists, whose palates and wallets deserve respect. In short, a restaurant on the Cours to avoid.

26/05/2026: Dining outside under a former market hall opposite the 12th-century church was delightful. The waiter was articulate, attentive, and smiling, despite the necessary trips back and forth between the kitchen and the dining area in the 30°C heat. The cuisine was refined, perfectly balanced, and made with high-quality ingredients. A promising first day of our family holiday on the banks of the Sioule. We are won over by the 308!

18/05/2026: Very welcoming staff, room ok. But when I turned back the covers on the bed I saw several what I thought were baby cockroaches, sad to say they turned out to be bed bugs. 3 days down the track and I am covered with festering, itchy bites from head to feet. Not happy.!!!

06/06/2026: As a long-time customer, I've known several owners at Mister Pizza in Rocheville, and I can say that the quality has never wavered. The pizzas are always delicious, generous, and prepared with care. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, but considering the number of orders they handle, it really shows how much their pizzas are appreciated. A little patience is well worth it! I also want to emphasize the excellent hygiene of the premises. Having had the opportunity to walk through the shop to use the restroom, I was able to see for myself that everything was clean, well-maintained, and organized. A dedicated team, quality products, and consistent service over the years. I highly recommend it!

28/05/2026: We came to eat an epizza which was delicious and were able to enjoy our meal on the quiet little terrace. The two gentlemen were very kind and helpful. We will gladly return.

11/05/2026: The pizza was really bad, it crumbled, there was very little topping, and for the price, I was very disappointed with the product.

02/05/2026: Just another mediocre bakery, with tasteless bread and squashed, deflated pastries sold at exorbitant prices. Even the bread from the Carrefour City next door is better...

25/04/2026: Love this bakery. I first went here about 20 years ago and the quiche was off the charts good! It's still pretty good, and the bread is fantastic as is the selection of cakes . Friendly staff too. Amazing. We made a lovely picnic lunch in our hotel with goodies from here and the amazing fish shop next door, well worth a visit!

07/06/2026: We were a little put off by the bad reviews, but what a great find! The service was fantastic, efficient, and fast, the food was excellent, as were the desserts and drinks, and the servers were really friendly. The setting was magnificent. We'll definitely be back!

30/05/2026: The location was great! But the food shouldn't be called Italian. It took a long time, and the food was far below par! Really, none of the dishes were okay.

17/05/2026: Very surprised by the number of positive reviews. The pizzas are simply bad. I ordered 5 pizzas: 3 were undercooked, 1 tasteless, and 1 had no toppings. That adds up... They tasted like they'd been microwaved. That says it all!

29/06/2026: Everything was going well until a piece of glass was found in the pizza... No explanation or apology, just a rather ill-timed (funny) joke. It's not so funny when you risk cutting the inside of your mouth, or worse... PS: "This time we included the frame."

26/06/2026: Mixed feelings. The setting on the port of Cassis is pleasant, but the food is rather disappointing. The dishes are quite average, more in the style of a touristy brasserie than a proper restaurant. The mussels, in particular, didn't all seem very fresh, which definitely spoiled the meal. It's a shame, because the location is appealing, but the quality just isn't there.
