27/02/2026: What more can I say? After a long day of hiking, stumbling upon a refuge with affordable pints and sangria for €4.50! I highly recommend it!

08/08/2026: The steak in the "Montagnard Burger" was undercooked, still pink inside, and the grilled meat in general was undercooked. As for the "Adourette" salad: I only received 3-4 slices of smoked trout (the main ingredient), and the overall quantity was insufficient. The salad was spread out on a large round platter, but after 5 swirls, I had finished half of it. Two-thirds of the ingredients in the dish were not listed on the menu, and there was only one slice of soft apple. Furthermore, I think it should be mentioned that they add popcorn, as I don't think it goes well with the dressing. Finally, I ordered an ice cream cone, and the waitress held it with her bare hand, without gloves or a tissue.

16/08/2026: At the beginning of July, the cashier taking orders was already very unpleasant and incompetent because once I got home, the sandwiches weren't the ones I had ordered! You come to eat and you get the impression you're bothering them! Exorbitant prices

15/08/2026: A disastrous experience. As a resident of Argelès, I often come to the restaurant. However, since the beginning of the 2026 season, a waiter (long, curly hair, in his 40s) has been particularly unpleasant and disrespectful on several occasions. His colleague suggested we sit on the terrace next door (Wantilan) and order takeout. We accepted and ordered drinks from Wantilan; it wasn't the first time (same management). We didn't receive any sauces with our four set menus. My husband got up and politely asked the waitress at the inside counter. The curly-haired waiter then addressed my husband with a complete lack of professionalism: "You don't ask for your sauces here, you go to the counter in the back." It's easy to take payment before serving customers, but if it's just to be treated disrespectfully afterward while eating, it's unacceptable. Then the waiter dared to justify himself, saying, "Your husband is standing in the way, he's blocking my path. He should ask for his sauce somewhere else. I'm here serving people all day, I don't need your (loyalty). Fine, sorry, thank you, goodbye, you can leave." He was particularly aggressive with me, yelling at me while I tried to calm him down, speaking in a low voice and explaining that it's unprofessional to speak to customers like that. We want to inform the owner that this waiter is a disgrace to the establishment, that he lacks professionalism, politeness, respect, and composure. It is unacceptable to treat any customer in this way.

22/06/2026: Caesar salad and sole for lunch was perfect. Excellent location, pleasant outdoor seating. The service was very attentive and they spoke English. A relaxed lunch for two.

21/07/2026: I regularly go to the Casino du Der, which is excellent. The one in Améli-les-Bains is also very good, but the one in Argeles has a major problem. Getting a glass of water is extremely difficult. The service is very poor.

15/07/2026: The staff were friendly, but the casino is far too small with outdated machines. There are also very few poker machines. A shame.

13/06/2026: The food was good. The sauces were very nice. However, it often lacked that little something extra to make it truly excellent. The service was impeccable and the waiter very friendly. A bit pricey though.

14/03/2026: A filthy, very old, and awful mess. The headboard is covered in dust, the bathroom tiles are dirty, the nightstands are faded and disgusting, the wardrobe is pathetic, and there's nothing in the bathroom.

13/05/2026: Good location, allowing you to visit Perpignan on foot. The hotel parking is secure but open-air – unfortunately for me, it rained and was sandy… –, very nice lobby and friendly welcome, but my room wasn't ready when I arrived, and it turned out to be quite worn. There was a lingering smell in the bathroom (thank goodness for the two doors that at least saved my sleep), tiny window, overall I felt cramped and not at all comfortable: it needs a renovation in my opinion. Breakfast included a disappointing orange juice, and they didn't have the famous Ibis Styles madeleines, at least not on the day of my stay.

26/02/2026: Hotel near the train station! Very nice! Clean and quiet! Welcoming staff! Very good breakfast (review posted in April 2025). We booked a 2-night stay on February 4, 2026 (stay from February 24 to 26). Three days before our arrival, the receptionist called to tell us that the hotel couldn't accommodate us because they were undergoing renovations... they wanted to relocate us to an Ibis Budget... logically, they were obligated to relocate us to an equivalent or superior hotel. That wasn't the case! The receptionist told us she would try to find another hotel... The day before our departure, a hotel in Perpignan called us to say they had a price quote... I didn't even want to hear about it. And thank goodness, because we stayed in a much nicer hotel.

14/08/2026: Excellent meal at €29.90. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was very generous.

07/08/2026: We are a family of 11. We planned ahead for lunch by booking a table. We were refused because we were too many. Six tables of two would have been fine. Unbelievable. We went next door and received a wonderful welcome and had a fantastic meal in a restaurant that clearly wanted to work. Thanks for refusing us; we had a wonderful meal next door.
