26/02/2026: Unfortunately, our visit was a disappointing experience. We weren't able to enjoy raclette, as all the grills were already in use. The service was also delayed by over an hour, which significantly impacted our evening. Furthermore, the 33cl strawberry diabolo we ordered was instead of the advertised lemonade, instead of the one we received. We would have appreciated, at the very least, an apology or some kind of compensation for these inconveniences. It would undoubtedly be better to prioritize the quality of the welcome and service rather than the number of covers.

12/02/2026: Supergood food, we ate classic raclette and had a wonderful time. Very cozy place! We were here mid week and it was quite just. Felt a little ruched by the server when we ordered so we had to stop her to order again.

24/10/2025: A friend and I decided to spend a week in Les Chapieux exploring the valleys and discovering the local flora and fauna. It wasn't until the third night that we decided to dine at the Auberge de La Nova. As soon as we sat down, the La Nova burger caught our eye on the menu, and we didn't even have to speak before the owner immediately guessed what we wanted! He said, "You'll see, it's amazing." Well, he wasn't lying. From the first bite, my friend and I looked at each other and it was indeed amazing! It was so good that we decided to come back every night of the week, and that's exactly what we did! The burgers are incredible. We also tried a few desserts, including the Pavlova and the chocolate fondant, which were also truly to die for. The welcome was super warm: the waiters, the cooks, the owner, and his wife were all lovely and friendly. It was heartbreaking to have to leave on the last day... but one thing is certain: we'll be back! And this time, we'll go every night of our stay to enjoy La Nova's delicious burger :) Thank you so much 🙏 Les Petits Suisses 🐍

27/09/2025: Basic auberge in Les Chapieux. It is probably the main option on this part of the TMB with the next hut “Refuge des Mottets” a good distance away. Big campsite in front of the auberge - campers welcome to utilise the facilities in the hut so get your showers in early. Dorms were a little crammed and beds very squeaky. Dinner was good and really hearty - Chicken Velasquez, rice, and a delicious soup. Breakfast might as well have not been served it was so pathetic. Packed lunch was good though.

10/12/2025: Today, The naan sandwich was poorly made; the naan bread was too thin, too small, and torn, causing the filling to fall out. There was also a lack of attention to detail with the initial order. The price was far too high for their naan sandwich, which has shrunk considerably since the restaurant opened, which is unacceptable.

23/06/2025: The lodge is 5 stars. Top-notch service, a place with all the comforts we needed, accessible by car and in an idyllic corner of the Alps. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely return.

20/02/2026: We dined there three times during the week with my parents and two daughters. The service was excellent, the menu offered a wide variety of choices, perfect for the whole family, and the food was really good. A special shout-out to Tom and Lucas 😉 Looking forward to coming back next year!

11/02/2026: The restaurant offers truly delicious food with generous portions that justify the price. However, the service leaves much to be desired. When you ask to take your leftovers home, you receive unpleasant looks. Furthermore, without any explanation, a simple plastic container is placed on the table for the leftovers, as if it were up to you to fend for yourself, without any help or consideration from the staff. This somewhat spoils the experience despite the quality of the meal.

22/03/2026: Excellent food. Servers were very professional and respectful. We went there during the weekend. The servers were dressed like native Savoyard and there was live accordion music (not sure if they always have it). It is decorated very tastefully, the interior is mainly traditional wood and has a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommended. Traveling from Canada.

02/03/2026: We've been coming here for about twenty years, and this is the first time we've experienced anything like this. Absolutely no friendliness, no professionalism whatsoever: an hour's wait just to take our order (drinks only) and clear the table... and then insults when we dared to complain. Unbelievable. Even in written reviews, they insult customers.

02/03/2026: €40 for 4 crepes and chocolates. The crepes were dumped carelessly, just like in the photo. Run away, they have no respect.

01/03/2026: A wonderful experience at Les Pieds dans l’Eau in Viviers-du-Lac. Superb view of the lake, ideal for enjoying a coffee and soaking up the atmosphere. Quick and efficient service, a very pleasant and bright dining room. A perfect spot for a lunch break overlooking Lake Bourget.

11/03/2026: 5/5! THEIR RATING IS FAKE FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER, OMG… Order with your eyes closed, 45 euros for 3 pizzas delivered late because I ordered late, THEY KNOW IT! IT'S GOOD! It's a great convenience, it gets the job done. THEY DESERVE MORE STARS!

24/02/2026: Having eaten there with my family for lunch today, I'd rank your pizzas in my top 3! You can really taste the "homemade" quality, and the same goes for the chocolate mousse 👍 The daily special was also delicious. We received a very warm welcome, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: We stayed in this residence a few times and will come again. The location is perfect for skiing in and out and gives you a view on Peclet depending on which side you are staying. It is easily accessible from the bus station. Very good price/value. Consider that you need to leave an apartment clean based on the hotel policy and get accustomed to the fact that in ValTho apartments and rooms are generally rather small.

03/03/2026: Location is great, very close to lifts , shops and restaurants, etc. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Rooms are little smalll and reception is open only certain hours. It didn't matter so much as we spent most of time out in the slopes or went out for dinner.

09/03/2026: A great time spent with the owners. A thin-crust pizza, just the way I like it. Generous toppings. We'll be back.
