Les meilleurs restaurants en Savoie

07/04/2026: There are Michelin restaurants that show effort to retain their stars and deserve it, then there are ones that don’t seem to care and somehow still managed to keep their stars. This is the latter. Food was hit and miss. Lots of odd flavours that didn’t really work. Best was cheese plate which says something. Overall, nothing inspiring or worthy of any Michelin stars.

16/04/2026: Great night at The Marmot - best place to watch the football in the evening around here for sure! The food is mouthwatering good, one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. Shall certainly be visiting again when I return to Tignes.

14/06/2026: We each ordered couscous. I chose the set menu with meat for €15. I asked the waitress if I could choose the meat I wanted and opted for lamb shank, thinking it was one of the available options. When it came time to pay, I was unpleasantly surprised to be charged €22. I found this misleading, as I was never informed of an additional charge. As for the couscous itself, we were very disappointed. It was bland, the semolina was mushy, and the vegetables seemed to have been steamed and then simply added to a tasteless, very watery broth. It was our first time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.

21/05/2026: While passing through France, we enjoyed a delicious couscous at a reasonable price; the portions were generous. The place is unique and the service impeccable. We will gladly return. Pura vida

01/08/2026: We had a fantastic meal at L'Ecoelle. Homemade dishes prepared with quality ingredients, a beautiful setting, and truly attentive service. Everything is perfect for a wonderful experience, from the glass-enclosed dining room leading onto a terrace with stunning views, to the menu which features a wide selection of Savoyard specialties as well as grilled meats, salads, pinsas (pizzas with a lighter crust), and daily specials. And the warm welcome makes you want to come back!

28/07/2026: A very good experience. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The dishes were generous and delicious. We tried the meat and vegetarian burgers as well as the pinsa. The desserts were also excellent. All this on a well-appointed terrace facing the mountains. I recommend this place without hesitation.

24/05/2026: We arrived there in the evening without a reservation. The lady at reception was able to offer us a table for two. Our order took a little while, but the preparation and taste more than made up for it. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Thank you so much. We'd love to come back.

23/05/2026: While cycling along the ViaRhôna, we booked a night with dinner and breakfast. Excellent place, very warm welcome, magnificent setting, generous and delicious meal. Fellow cyclists, don't hesitate!

23/07/2026: Meats were good but the vegetarian meal they made for my daughter was simply just the default sidedish times 2 (which was overcooked veggies). Don't go here when you don't want to eat meat or fish.

19/06/2026: A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team for their warm welcome. We held a Scrabble club meeting there, and everything was absolutely perfect: The service: Impeccable, professional, and top-notch. The food: Superb cuisine with excellent value for money. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The setting: The room provided allowed us to play and concentrate in complete tranquility. 🍒 The icing on the cake: The team's lovely touch of bringing us little cream puffs for afternoon tea! We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely be back!

16/06/2026: Came on a Saturday around 12:30pm. There was a board outside advertising their homemade burgers. I went into the restaurant to order the burger menu and was told they didn't have the burger today because the chef wasn't there. Weird for a Saturday, but no problem. Tried to order a side of fries, but that wasn't available. Ok maybe only cold things available, no problem. Asked for a bagnat sandwich, not available. Asked for a smoked salmon bagel, not available. Does those require a chef too?? On IG they advertise that if the display case doesn't have the sandwich you want, they will make it fresh for you. Obviously not today! Ended up getting an overpriced chicken sandwich that was nothing special.

09/06/2026: Disappointed. Given the reviews and the hype surrounding homemade food, I was expecting a real treat... The bread was very dry and there wasn't much filling, but the quality was good. Over €13 for a set menu, a bit pricey for what I got.

25/03/2026: La Bouitte has been a huge favorite of ours during our getaways over the past few years. La Bouitte embodies the art of living, of hospitality, of being fully present in the moment. Everything is perfect: the house is so warm and tastefully designed, the staff is incredibly kind, the Meilleur family is so attentive and approachable, and the restaurant was, for us, the best we've ever experienced. The raw ingredients are so expertly prepared that they give you goosebumps, a return to the essentials on the plate—what a wonderful evening! We rarely return to hotels we've already stayed in because we love discovering new places, but we will certainly be returning to La Bouitte again and again in the coming months because we dream about it every day! 23/03/2026: I had the opportunity to dine at their restaurant. A lot of hype for very little. Uninteresting dishes. You feel ripped off. Doesn't deserve a star!!! My worst Michelin-starred experience.

17/04/2026: Service without fault. Friendly and efficient staff, the nannies in particular were fantastic. Location great, 20m from Bruyeres 1 lift and the nursery slope. Hotel comfortable and practical. Rooms a little tight and dark (about which they can do nothing at all); all things considered, a genuinely superb package.

13/03/2026: Brilliant choice for a family ski holiday. Staff are excellent and really friendly. The kid's club staff were great and really enjoyed their caring duties with all the children, this made the whole holiday go smoothly, definitely recommended.

03/05/2026: I made a reservation several days ago, which was confirmed online for 5 people this evening. However, we discovered that the restaurant was closed. Unacceptable!

17/04/2026: We'd visited this place before and had fond memories of it. The welcome was excellent, the waitresses very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if it's still open next year, as it seems it will be demolished... a shame, because the mountain decor was lovely.

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed during our visit. The frosty welcome and the waitress's behavior set a very unpleasant tone for our meal. The manager clearly didn't understand customer service. As for the food, it was completely unsuitable for the price: the dishes served were of very average quality for such exorbitant prices. Méribel's reputation doesn't justify such blatant neglect of customers and the quality of the food. Despite being regulars, we won't be returning.

16/04/2026: We come in summer and winter, and throughout the seasons, everything is always perfect! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, I always have a wonderful time! As for the tables, it's hard to rank them, they're all excellent! Thank you, thank you to the team!
