20/02/2026: I've been ordering pizzas from this pizzeria for years, but the quality and quantity have declined significantly over time. The small individual pizza slices aren't the same as they used to be; the crust is far too thin, practically nonexistent. And the toppings are practically nonexistent. Very disappointed, especially considering the price.

15/02/2026: Well, first of all, thank you anyway for a table for Valentine's Day, as the entire restaurant was full. As for the service, frankly, it was far too slow, 45 minutes. We arrived before three other couples, and the waitress served regulars or acquaintances, which already sets the tone for the service. No aperitif, not a single nibble. The main course, the goat cheese salad was advertised as having croutons, but it was more like toasted bread. The basic cuisine was average. The dish listed on the menu was frozen, so the taste was mediocre. The pinch of salt on slightly overcooked meat was pointless. The vegetables weren't fresh, more like canned or frozen, not great at all, and I never saw any bread on the table. For a bill of €135, that stings. I'm really disappointed. I used to come here a few years ago, and it was a crêperie, and it was very good. Now, it's just okay, but it's alright in a pinch.

12/03/2026: Stay away from the oysters! We visited Cap Horn and ordered oysters as an appetizer. We got moderate food poisoning and had to vomit after the visit. The oysters didn't taste very good either, but we only realized later that the oysters were the cause.

28/01/2026: A great place to eat in Val-Cenis. The fondues, tartiflettes, bavette steak, and fish and chips were delicious and generous portions. The restaurant owner is also a great shopkeeper. I highly recommend it.

02/03/2026: I agree with the previous review; disappointment after the change of ownership; the quality is no longer there; two very ordinary large salads with a tasteless (and supposedly homemade) vinaigrette, and above all, a very insufficient quantity. We ate the green salad almost plain, like a rabbit; tasteless tomatoes (it's not the season), whereas we used to love the bacon, walnut, and warm goat cheese salad from the previous owner, which had a real homemade vinaigrette, full of flavor. We might give this new version of Dava another chance, but we're doubtful.

01/03/2026: Hamburger and fries for 23.90 euros with a piece of tomato skin inside. When I told the waitress, she just said okay and left. Otherwise, the hamburger was good but not worth 20 euros a plate.

28/02/2026: As for the service, the staff is pleasant but slow and disorganized. The food is average for the price. The "banana supplement" costs €1.70, but you only get a quarter of a banana. In short, I don't recommend this establishment; others nearby offer much better quality for the same price.
