20/01/2026: Fantasic place to chill and sip on a few beers. Charlie is great!! I'm english, my wife is spanish and our friends are french, and he could interact, speak and have a laugh with us all in our own languages! Top man!! We'll be back!

15/03/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Le Blizzard in Val d'Isère for a week last year and loved the experience. Unfortunately, this second stay was somewhat disappointing in several ways. 1. The reception staff weren't particularly welcoming. 2. Housekeeping didn't come to our room every night, and even when they did, they didn't always leave water. Two nights, we found our pajamas, which had been on the bed, on other furniture—quite surprising for a hotel of this standard. 3. Breakfast was also disappointing: several dishes were cold on multiple occasions. 4. Dinner at the La Luge restaurant was terrible. 5. We unfortunately booked a massage at the spa on the wrong day (an error on our part, which we fully acknowledge). However, we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility from the hotel, for example, the possibility of rebooking at least one of the two massages free of charge or at a discount. 320 euros down the drain. It wasn't all bad, though: the room was very nice and the bar always has a great atmosphere in the evening, very cozy! We also had a fantastic dinner at La Mourra.

14/04/2026: hotel is really great, very close to the slopes and in an ideal location. They've recently done up the boot rooms, so that's nice. In all honesty it is a little tired and could do with some love in places - but the apartments are large, the staff are very friendly and it's a really good option for VT. Cannot fault it.

29/04/2026: Hello, I made a reservation on Booking.com for a stay over the May 1st weekend. Arriving from Paris, the TGV train is affected by construction work at Gare de Lyon, causing significant delays both ways. I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service to find a solution that would prevent me from losing my reservation and the €178 I paid. No offer has been made, even though Booking.com confirms that it depends on the goodwill of the institution. No reasonable or helpful communication has been possible. Is it normal for a service that claims to be a service provider to act this way, especially in a city that wants to be open to the world? For your information, I have already experienced this situation, which was always resolved through friendly and respectful communication. A hotel's image is revealed not only by the cleanliness of its rooms or spa, but, in my opinion, by its ability to accommodate guests' needs. Today, this hotel earned €178 but certainly lost a customer. This doesn't seem to affect its management.

29/10/2025: A truly wonderful discovery! The atmosphere and service are absolutely top-notch. The team, like the owner, is cheerful, attentive, and always goes the extra mile. The menu offers simple yet satisfying dishes at excellent value. Special mention goes to the lovely selection of teas and coffees, which adds a touch of refinement to the meal. A place to recommend without hesitation!

16/04/2026: We were particularly disappointed with our lunch at La Taverne de l'Arc. We've known this restaurant for a long time, especially for its pizzas which we enjoy, and we wanted to treat ourselves to a relaxing lunch today. While the waiter was pleasant, the wait was interminable, both between our arrival and being ordered, and between ordering and the arrival of our food. And when it was finally time to satisfy our hunger and indulge our taste buds, we were disappointed once again. The burgers were sorely lacking in character and flavor. There was hardly any sauce, the patty was slightly overcooked, and the fries were bland, leaving us feeling quite unsatisfied. Suffice it to say that at €25 a burger, we expected much better, and paying the bill was a painful experience, as we rarely treat ourselves to a restaurant meal. What somewhat redeemed the experience was the beer, the glass of wine, and the waiter's friendliness.

There was no wait, and the staff was attentive, pleasant, and smiling. I'm baffled by the other negative reviews; it's quite the opposite. Thank you to the team! Go there!

05/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, the staff is very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend it; it's very well located and perfectly captures the Savoyard theme with its decor and high-quality dishes. They even accept dogs and are very welcoming; the waitress kindly provided me with a bowl.
