13/07/2026: While the bar is really nice inside and the wine selection is extensive, the prices for the platters and other sharing platters are very high compared to the portion sizes. Paying €25 for a mixed platter is fine, but it should include a bit more of everything.

12/07/2026: While passing by on a Sunday to buy tobacco, specifically a pack of "Fleur du Pays" rolling tobacco, I encountered the owner, a thoroughly unpleasant man. He quoted me €18.50, which surprised me, as I had just returned from a long stay in Germany where "Fleur du Pays" costs €6. During the conversation, I simply mentioned that it was expensive... apparently, he didn't appreciate that, telling me I should just go back to Germany (a remark with racist undertones) or that I should have bought more.... And these are the same shopkeepers who complain about their businesses being deserted. I strongly advise against going to this place.

12/07/2026: After a very long day of hiking, I arrived at this lovely, family-run restaurant. I received a very warm welcome. The "Quattro Formaggi" pizza was simply sensational. The pizza dough was thin and crispy, topped with delicious cheese such as Reblochon. Exactly what you need after such a day – thank you so much!

20/03/2026: After the first visit ,I came here 2 more times. The wine list is impressive, but being alone I stuck to wines by the glass. The service from Camille was commensurate with the wine list – exceptional. I was greeted each time in a friendly and professional manner. Everyone spoke beautiful English, but I’m sure that my experience would’ve been even better (if that’s possible ) if I spoke French. The charcuterie board was artfully laid out, and the burrata salad and roasted vegetables excellent. I wish I was here longer to experience more of the menu . Highly recommend.

11/03/2026: A delightful time shared with friends who are regulars. We enjoyed a tasting of a very good St. Joseph Gripa, recommended by the owner. The shared meal was fabulously delicious. We'll be back to treat ourselves again.

13/04/2026: We came for cocktails with a friend and were treated very badly. We had barely finished our drinks before we had to leave. The awkwardness and contempt were utterly shameful. Your explanations are lies and false. You have no consideration for ordinary people.

09/07/2026: Closed despite being listed as open, after a 20-minute drive to get here

30/06/2026: We went to L’Encas, and the fries were frozen and the portion was tiny. The hamburger wasn't 180g as stated on the menu, and it wasn't rare, even though we had asked for it. The menu listed new potatoes, but we ended up with fries. For the price, we were very disappointed.

09/08/2026: I made a reservation in May for August 2nd for 8 people. It was a special occasion for a civil partnership ceremony, and therefore organized and prepared well in advance. When we arrived at the agreed time, our table had been given to other people without a reservation. Outside, there were no more tables available for 8 people. We were seated under a pergola at a table for 6. The space was neither ideal nor sufficient; the servers couldn't move around properly and unfortunately spilled some glasses, which were thankfully replaced. Furthermore, during the service, we ordered a bottle of sparkling water, which was brought to us half-empty. We noticed this in time. Given the effort involved in organizing this meal in what was supposed to be an exceptional setting, this unpleasant reception made the rest of the meal very disappointing, and we were not offered any compensation. Furthermore, I also reported this by email before publishing the review, but it went unanswered by the managers...

06/12/2025: We went in the summer, on our way home from the Alps by motorbike... The place isn't luxurious, but the setting is unique. Absolute tranquility. Very clean and comfortable shared bathrooms. Our room had a bathtub and sink. Many thanks to Teo for his hospitality. We arrived in our rain gear completely soaked, and he let us undress in the lounge, where it was nice and warm from the fireplace. You can also read Nacho de Rivas's review. 16/07/2026: A huge thank you to Manon and the entire team for the wonderful evening I spent on Saturday celebrating my 50th birthday. Honestly, everything was perfect! From the appetizers to the meal, everything was delicious and of exceptional quality. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we had a wonderful evening. All my guests were delighted. They had nothing but praise for the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Everyone had a great time and truly enjoyed themselves. Having a private room was a real bonus. It allowed us to fully enjoy the party in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Being able to bring our own decorations made the evening even more personalized. And finally, being able to keep the party going on the dance floor was the perfect way to end the night. Well done to this helpful, friendly, and professional team. I highly recommend them!
