23/07/2026: Meats were good but the vegetarian meal they made for my daughter was simply just the default sidedish times 2 (which was overcooked veggies). Don't go here when you don't want to eat meat or fish.

19/06/2026: A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team for their warm welcome. We held a Scrabble club meeting there, and everything was absolutely perfect: The service: Impeccable, professional, and top-notch. The food: Superb cuisine with excellent value for money. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The setting: The room provided allowed us to play and concentrate in complete tranquility. 🍒 The icing on the cake: The team's lovely touch of bringing us little cream puffs for afternoon tea! We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely be back!

15/07/2026: We wanted to start our vacation with a charcuterie and cheese board on the north side of the restaurant... and two cocktails. The charcuterie board was served with six mini pieces of "Beaufort" cheese, three pieces of cured ham, two slices of sausage, four gherkins, and three slices of Bündnerfleisch (air-dried beef). There was no butter included, so we had to go back inside and ask for napkins, which are essential for eating with your hands on a platter. At €20 for the board, it's outrageous... In short, avoid it to save yourself the same disappointment we experienced.

03/05/2026: I made a reservation several days ago, which was confirmed online for 5 people this evening. However, we discovered that the restaurant was closed. Unacceptable!

17/04/2026: We'd visited this place before and had fond memories of it. The welcome was excellent, the waitresses very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if it's still open next year, as it seems it will be demolished... a shame, because the mountain decor was lovely.

16/02/2026: The staff were friendly, but the brunch offered on the third Sunday of the month was quite basic in terms of food. There weren't enough utensils to serve ourselves, so we had to use our fingers.... Overall, I was a bit disappointed, especially the small portions of dessert. I wasn't informed on the day I made my reservation that it would be brunch... which is a shame, as I had better memories of this restaurant.

01/02/2026: We booked the family room late at night after our flight was cancelled. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful getting us a taxi and welcoming us. Dinner on arrival was lovely even though it was 10pm the staff & kitchen were accommodating and friendly. A beautiful setting. The room was really spacious with 2 bedrooms and a lounge area. Gorgeous views. If you want corporate standard this hotel is not for you. If you want friendly, helpful, comfortable, traditional and quiet this is for you. A haven after a long travel day.

03/07/2026: Passing through Albertville yesterday, I ordered for the second time and it was absolutely delicious! I'm really not disappointed, no complaints whatsoever. If I had pizzas this good closer to home, it would be fantastic.

05/07/2026: We hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time. We were pleasantly surprised by both the variety of the menu and the dessert selection. All at reasonable prices. The staff were young, recently hired, but friendly.

22/07/2026: We came to dinner with high expectations, but the experience was very disappointing. The meal was generally unremarkable. The portion of tartiflette was very small for the price, which is regrettable in a mountain restaurant. The only positive aspect of our meal was my partner's burger, which was excellent. On the other hand, the service was particularly disappointing. We felt genuinely uncomfortable with the behavior of some of the servers, who stared intently at my partner, to the point that we preferred to switch tables. This is not a situation one should experience in a restaurant. Furthermore, several small touches offered to other customers were not extended to us. For example, peanuts accompanied the aperitifs at other tables, while we never received any despite ordering them. In the end, an experience that did not live up to the positive reviews we had read. It's a shame, because with more professional service and greater consistency, the establishment has real potential.

28/02/2026: We were passing through Porte-de-Savoie and ate at Le Gabelous. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them; they were absolutely delicious. The ingredients are high quality and the flavors are spot on. A big thank you to our very pleasant and smiling waitress, as well as to the equally welcoming manager. We highly recommend it and will gladly return! 🍕😊
