22/02/2026: Despite an incident involving a waitress who was likely inexperienced, management immediately offered a solution that addressed the seriousness of the situation, and I commend them for that with this rating. Furthermore, the rest of the service was satisfactory, and the food met our expectations. Contrary to the negative reviews, we were served very quickly. It's a shame about the online billing, though. These QR code issues are a nightmare in 2026.

28/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place on Saturday evening and it was a wonderful surprise! The waitresses were very friendly from the moment we arrived (they brought us olives, but we don't like them, so we mentioned it and they offered us peanuts instead). The meal was excellent from start to finish. The prices aren't particularly high, but it's well worth it!

19/02/2026: A wonderful discovery opposite Rouen train station! The restaurant team gave us a warm welcome. The elegant decor adds a lot of charm to the place. The service was excellent, and the waiters were very attentive. I highly recommend this brasserie, worthy of the great Parisian brasseries, but right here in Normandy! The dishes were of very good quality and plentiful, perfect for those who prefer classic brasserie fare. But the fish is also excellent and beautifully presented. I recommend this restaurant if you're passing through Rouen, and I'm looking forward to trying the bar soon for a jazz evening 😉

20/01/2026: Unjustified price of €120 for a 4-star hotel. The room was large and clean, but ugly. Outdated furniture. Bathroom in need of repair... All-you-can-eat breakfast for €20. Given the limited selection, we opted for the express breakfast at €9.50, served by the staff: we received a miserable sliver of baguette, not even fresh (the only choice offered was one pastry or one piece of baguette), a ridiculously tiny Lilliputian coffee, one yogurt, jam, butter, and honey, all served in equally microscopic quantities. The gluten-free bread offered was industrially produced and vacuum-packed, so I took the very dense baguette instead... Since we didn't order the buffet, we were told to take a seat and had to wait 15 minutes to be served. We are used to traveling, whether in 2-star or 4-star hotels. This Novotel is far inferior to all the B&Bs we've stayed at, which are much cheaper and have very decent breakfasts. When we returned the keys, they didn't even ask if we were satisfied with the service. They simply don't care, because it's a forced sale, given their prime location near the Zénith concert hall. In short, don't waste your money, and avoid it, especially the breakfast, because even at €9.50, it's a rip-off. You'll get better for the same price at a B&B or other hotels right next door, which are just as well located. There's absolutely no added value compared to a 4-star hotel. Luckily, we avoided the exorbitant restaurant prices the day before; otherwise, it would have been a terrible stay.

21/12/2025: Excellent location and lovely surroundings. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food is delicious. Breakfast is superb, always served with a smile and excellent service by Catherine and Marie-Laure. My husband and I always enjoy staying here for work when we come to Normandy.
