Les meilleurs restaurants en Ain

17/06/2026: The choice is very limited for people who eat halal, which is a shame; it's always the same salad... We're forced to go to Total or the village bakery, which is a pity because several of us work nearby.

21/05/2026: I've been a regular customer for a while now, so I'm posting a detailed review here. This establishment is a good alternative for a quick meal, avoiding the need to go to a bakery. Its location in the Pipa area is quite unique, somewhere between a snack bar and a traditional restaurant. The menu is varied and interesting, and generally good, however, I have a few complaints: - Individual prices outside of set menus aren't always displayed (sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't...). - I like to have a dairy product/compote and a dessert, but I find it excessive to price the Les 2 Vaches yogurts, Charles & Alice compotes, and La Bressane faisselle cheese the same as the other desserts, i.e., €3! - Regarding the desserts, the flans and éclairs don't look very appealing. They're probably mass-produced and don't seem to be of very good quality. - I think there's a lack of starters, or perhaps small salads, such as lentil salad with a few tomatoes and grated carrots, which would be a nice complement to a daily special, a croque monsieur, etc. - Finally, a special mention for the slice of pie served on a plate with a green salad; at €3.50, it's a good, affordable starter! Looking forward to returning for lunch. Sincerely.

25/08/2026: Homemade food of good quality and quantity

21/08/2026: The price was quite reasonable overall. However, I had a slight mishap when paying: it's definitely best to use a bank card. When I tried to pay in cash, the cashier seemed to want to give me change mainly in small coins, even though he had plenty of other types of cash on hand. Even more troubling: after finally paying by card, I realized he had also kept the bill I had given him earlier. I prefer to think it was a mistake, but be sure to pay attention when making your payment.

01/10/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant for a group meal. The food was home-style, hearty, and prepared with fresh ingredients. Good value for money. Thank you to the whole team.

01/10/2026: First visit and I have nothing to complain about. Impeccable hygiene, a smiling owner and his son, and excellent service. I tried their mixed platters and the portions were huge and of good quality.

30/08/2026: A nice cafe with a good view of the valley. They serve good, tasty, sweet, inexpensive, good wine. Locally bottled, excellent panoramic views of the valley. If you want to take a break on the road, it's convenient to visit and sit for half an hour. The service is provincial but not bad.

05/10/2026: Good food, but expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. The service is adequate but rather cold, which is a shame because the dining room and terrace are quite pleasant. The restaurant only accepts credit cards. They don't accept restaurant vouchers or meal voucher cards. This is unfortunate, especially for a restaurant that's only open on weekdays.

29/09/2026: We arrived late on Saturday at 2:09 PM, but the staff welcomed us and we ordered dishes accordingly. They were very helpful and took my vegetarian diet into account. We'll definitely go back if we're in the area.

23/08/2026: Takeaway pizza order on a Sunday evening. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Pizza ready in under half an hour, thin crust and generous toppings, reasonable price. Not being from the area, I highly recommend this pizzeria 👍
