20/09/2024: Soirée parfaite ! Nous avions une petite salle pour nous, chouette ambiance, et très très bon accueil de la part de l'équipe. Les assiettes sont généreuses, et toutes les recettes goûtées étaient délicieuses. Nous avons aussi fait de belles découvertes en vin. A refaire ! 😋

22/09/2024: This restaurant has been on my "list" since our visit to Bayeux in 2014. So the minute I booked our hotel in Bayeux, I made our reservation at La Rapiere. It's a good thing too, because they were booked for the entire month of September. There is a good reason why this restaurant not only has a Michelin star but also stays booked months in advance. Linda along with her helper (I am sorry I can't remember her name) offers impeccable service and delicious food that is artfully plated. We opted for the €52.50 meal. The Mr. chose Foie gras, sea bass, and the profiterole. I had the oysters (4 raw and 4 cooked with garlic butter), the beef filet, and also the profiterole. We also had a carafe of Sancerre. This was a first class experience from start to finish. HIGHLY recommended.

Adorable waiters full of good humor, creative dishes and just sublime for the taste buds, very reasonable prices for the quality of the products. We are extremely surprised and delighted by this high quality meal! We will come back without hesitation and thank you again for this culinary experience!

27/08/2024: What to say? Only good. We dined outside, on the terrace, near a very picturesque little house, almost a homestay. A crazy charm for the setting, very good cuisine, well-presented and above all well-filled plates. Special mention for the interior decoration, very unusual but in a warm family spirit. Thank you, I recommend :)

26/08/2024: A really nice and unusual place. Quite far from the center and that's the whole point, it avoids the crowds and attracts tourists. The burgers are really hearty and tasty. For my part, I prefer a traditional burger with minced steak...the tastes and the colors eh ;) You can go there with your eyes closed

02/09/2024: A short 5 minute walk away from the over priced restaurants in the harbour, you'll find this gem of a place. With perfectly spoken English, the team at Chez DD know their wines! It's not a restaurant, but offers what the French do best...plates of cured years, amazing cheese, divine salads all washed down with the inexpensive but fabulous wine...and change out of Euro60.

08/09/2024: Very good frozen sweet experience, also received and served with a smile! There is no shortage of choice of perfumes. I took 4 scoops in a jar: strawberry, wild blackberry, cookie and chocolate banana.. the 4 flavors are delicious, nothing to complain about!
