02/10/2024: We chose this establishment for a discovery stopover in the Pays d'Auge and we were won over by the kindness of the hosts, owner and employee, and by the quality of the bedding and the rooms. Ideally located in this charming village, everything is done to keep a very good memory of this stopover in this very picturesque region. Be careful, however, the very narrow staircase is not suitable for elderly people or people with reduced mobility.

09/07/2025: At the Merville Franc market. 2 12-packs of specials advertised at €13 per 12-pack, opened by the fishmonger and eaten at a corner of the table. Price paid: €26. At the P’tit Mousse in Trouville, 2 12-packs (the same) advertised at €16 per 12-pack, bill €58. ????: I was served the special at €24 instead of the €16 requested, I was charged €10 to open them, without being warned. I don't like being ripped off... It went to hell with the staff, as I realized the deception before tasting, I was reimbursed. To enjoy yourself at the advertised price, drive a few kilometers.

25/08/2024: What can I say about this restaurant. Well located in the heart of Lisieux. A high level of welcome and service. The meal was a delight Perfect deviled eggs, just the right amount of mayonnaise. The finely cut and seasoned beef tartare, I recommend it. Moules marinière with the real taste of the recipe. 08/07/2025: The manager is a guy who thinks he's a big shot in the business world, with his short hair and condescending way of showing off! Taking bills out of his pocket to put them in the register, strange! And looking down on his staff in front of the customers, but ultimately, he's an inhumane fool. During a time when seasonal workers are scarce! You have to ask yourself the right questions: why? That said, the food is decent without striving for excellence; it's certainly not a gourmet restaurant. We should go elsewhere. The welcome is friendly, the service is friendly, with young people full of goodwill. We dealt with Nathan, who is really great!

15/12/2024: I called 30 minutes before the end of the service to reserve and yet we were received for lunch: the dishes were carefully prepared with a touch of originality, the wine list was tempting, the fire in the fireplace was very pleasant for a very pleasant atmosphere. cocooning, thank you for everything!

11/12/2024: The place is very pleasant and warm. I appreciated the service although I found the waiter a little impatient with our choice, despite the restaurant being empty when we ordered. The real problem is that we ordered two prime ribs as a main course, and both were full of gristle. In addition, they were very poorly seasoned, mine in particular, and I felt like I was eating watered meat. I point out that after complaining we were offered a coffee or an aperitif, with the excuse that we both came across a bad piece. We are very disappointed to have spent €34 on a menu to treat ourselves to a restaurant that was recommended to us, only to end up with poor quality meat, apparently without checking before our service (which makes me think it's always like this) and almost without seasoning. The Saint-Émilion wine was very good. The rest of the dishes were ok, but nothing exceptional, and didn't justify the price either. I also suspect that certain important things were not prepared at home, such as the side dishes and even the starters (vegetable tarts and fish soup). Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe it's just a bad move, but I don't recommend it at all.

06/10/2025: A normal bar from the outside, but inside a beautiful, accessible dining room with both a la carte and daily menu options. The food is delicious and filling. The lady who moves the menu board on the floor in front of you is very friendly. Very, very good if you don't want to spend too much.
