16/08/2024: We went to eat ice cream (family of 5) in Bayeux and were really delighted with this place. The kindness of the waiters/waitresses, pleasant terrace and the places are clean (wc). The homemade ice creams on site were enjoyed by all 5 of us.

14/09/2024: On nous a offert une Wonderbox qui nous a permis de découvrir ce restaurant. Personnel très sympathique. Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir.

26/08/2024: Nous n’étions pas revenus dans ce restaurant situé « dans » le château depuis des années, époque « café Mancel » et Bib gourmand. Sale cosy, simple mais agréable. Menu à 30€ : Jolies entrées (césar revisitée, ceviché frais mais peu assaisonné en sel/citron), plats copieux (cote de cochon excellente mais garniture tartare/caviar aubergines/grenailles un poil riche, bon risotto). Enfin 2 excellents desserts néo classique (millefeuille ganache chocolat et tarte citron) nets, pas trop sucrés et gouteux. Offre vin simple mais efficace. Jeune serveur débutant,…on lui pardonne. Equipe sympathique. Attention : vaisselle pas hyper nette (verre à eau, assiettes noires entrée). Règlement ANCV possible. Le Mancel dispose d’un rooftop à essayer pour l’apéro 😎. Ce resto pourrait être dans le Michelin (même sans distinction).

21/09/2024: While passing through Trouville, we first looked via Google maps at the restaurants that seemed the most delicious to us, using regional products while having an attractive visual. We were not disappointed. The welcome was jovial. We were seated at the table we wanted. The decoration is elaborate and very instagramable. The mix of kitsch, very arty fluorescent sculptures with traditional furniture. The menu, in addition to being visually attractive and clear, reflected the image of the establishment. Proposals of traditional essentials with local products but also atypical fusions of other international cuisines (guacamole, tataki, risotto, Thai beef salad, poke bowl, and many others). I opted for a crispy salmon tataki as a starter, it was fresh and tasty. Perfectly balanced and I really enjoyed the wasabi emulsion. For the main course I opted for the roasted prawns accompanied by saffron risotto and diced chorizo. The waitress recommended an excellent white wine to accompany everything but I don't remember its title. My friends preferred to have the mussels marinières which were also delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant in Trouville if you are looking for a place to have lunch, dinner, with friends or family. Even as a lover, ideal for all types of occasions! 27/09/2024: I chose ravioli and Italian bread. The waitress forgot the bread order. My sauce was completely cold. It was taken back to be reheated( should have given me a new hot order?) . My daughter's salad wasn't fresh either and had very little dressing, so was unpleasant. 3/4 through the meal I found a label from a salmon packet in the food. My dish was not fish. We were offered a free coffee which we declined but the manager would only offer a 20% reduction on the food. The restaurant was very busy with a long queue to pay, I didn't want to argue about it as there were a lot of people already looking, as it was clear there was an issue. She jumped the queue for us so we would leave quickly. I feel strongly that I should not have had to pay for a dish that should never have been served. Overall the food was poor but the customer service was terrible.

23/08/2024: Very pretty pastry shop and tea room, we were very well received, the staff were smiling. If we can, I think we will come back to try the pistachio flan which we unfortunately did not have time to taste... Although a little expensive, but it's worth it.

13/09/2024: Stop at the Abri Côtier during our motorcycle trip. Meals possible indoors and outdoors. Friendly welcome and although we had to wait a bit, we arrived late, the service was excellent.

20/08/2024: Très bonne crêperie avec une décoration soignée et un service efficace. Les galettes sont bien garnies et goûteuses, seul petit bémol la chaleur près de la porte d'entrée. À part ça tout était maîtrisé, continuez sur cette voie.

27/08/2024: We tried this place several times, firstly to have American sandwiches and a panini for lunch, they were excellent! My husband was able to taste all 3 and was not disappointed 😁 Then, our daughter wanted an ice cream, the portions are very generous and the ice creams very good! 🍦🍧 And for the moment, the last time for the ice cream snack, whether ice cream or sorbet, a killer 😋 We will probably return before our holiday weekend. And two more passages today 😆 Still excellent! Little extra for Bulgarian ice cream 🤪

16/08/2024: Décevant, venus au marché trois lundi de suite, pas moyen d'avoir des sandwichs vers 18h30, plus de pain!!! Alors qu à 50m plus bas, une boulangerie disposait encore de pain. Pour une sandwicherie, ça craint, de plus la 2eme fois, je viens demander s'il est possible de réserver le pain pour les reprendre un peu plus tard, ce n'était pas possible. Pas très commerçant, c'est dommage quand la rue est pleine, un jour de marché,..., comment perdre de l'argent ou je ne m'y connais pas... Bon courage aux demandeurs de sandwichs, passez vers 17h, vous aurez peut-être une chance...

15/07/2024: As the name of this restaurant indicates, we were very well received. The menu is not 3 km long but one thing is certain, everything that was offered to us was very good, very good fresh and well cooked products. For us, this is what is most important. The atmosphere is very friendly, not to say family. Moreover, many customers are regulars and the conversation begins very quickly. Thank you for these good times. You will definitely see us again!!
