22/04/2026: Excellent welcome, dinner was perfect, and the room was spacious. The hotel is ideally located for starting cycling tours in the Suisse Normande region.

04/04/2026: The room was clean and pleasant, and the welcome was very friendly. Dinner this evening was absolutely delicious; from the amuse-bouche to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend this place for hiking or exploring the region.

06/06/2026: We've eaten here several times already, and the food is always fresh and high-quality, with a menu that changes regularly. We especially loved the vanilla and chocolate mousse. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: While we were delighted to stop by the inn for a good lunch beforehand, we decided to try dinner with the new young owners (March 2026). This evening at the Brasero on the terrace was a complete success: dishes offered at reasonable prices, all homemade quality, terrines, gravlax salmon, flavorful meats cooked to order, and the tiramisu and chocolate praline fondant for dessert were excellent. In short, flawless!! Don't hesitate, the young owners are super friendly and the value for money is unbeatable for this little inn!! We'll be back 👍

08/05/2026: The Bocage 9-hole course is technical, superbly maintained, and the greens are tricky to keep the ball in place. The Vallon 18-hole course is a very beautiful, varied, hilly course with water hazards and lovely greens. The welcome was very pleasant, and the caddy master was professional. The restaurant was excellent, offering good value for money and perfect service.

16/01/2026: These are truly excellent, authentic Chinese noodles. The portions are generous, and you can get seconds if there's any broth left. Prices have certainly gone up, but restaurants also have to make ends meet in this economy that affects us all. If our grocery bills are rising, so are theirs. If you want a great bowl of noodles in Caen without spending hours at a restaurant, I highly recommend Changshou!

24/05/2026: A career change would be best for you because Being a restaurateur is a profession, and it shouldn't be yours. An hour and a half for a mussel and fries—sorry, three fries—and a butcher's cut with a watery, tasteless Camembert sauce is a disgrace for Normandy! And the dessert was melted, etc. Avoid at all costs!

14/04/2026: Family lunch with our children. The restaurant has a hushed and contemporary atmosphere, and the service is efficient and discreet. The food is good and well-executed, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations or surprises we had anticipated from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

13/04/2026: A truly wonderful culinary experience in an idyllic setting. A very warm welcome. I was particularly surprised by the subtlety of the amuse-bouche and the cold appetizers. It was flawless and I'll definitely be back.

28/11/2025: On vacation at my daughter's, she introduced me to her neighborhood bakery, "Carrément Gourmand," whose pastries I wholeheartedly recommend. My absolute favorite was the "Courchevel"—wow, it was amazing! As we say in the south of France 😉 I won't go into detail, but rather invite you to discover it for yourselves 😋 The only problem for me is that, having never seen it anywhere else, I have to... wait for my next visit to my daughter's to enjoy it again 🥺 P.S.: The custard tart, the Paris-Brest, and the viennoiserie I also tried... were all equally delicious 😋 And a big thank you for the warm welcome and the lovely shop 🥰
