17/09/2024: Si le cadre est original , la carte est pauvre et les prix élevés.
Alors que la halle aux poissons est à deux pas, le restaurant est en rupture de stock d huîtres et de bulots. Ce n est pas sérieux !!
Mais put être faut il être un habitué pour être mieux considéré.
15/09/2024: Tataki de thon, lotte, bavette… très bons produits bien cuisinés, personnel très attentif et sympathique. Excellente soirée.

A waiter with deplorable hygiene, very friendly indeed, but for me it is simply unacceptable, bordering on a tramp, and I weigh my words...
“Homemade” cooking with bagged iceberg salad...
Reheated in the microwave, be careful the plates are hot, yes, and the fish is definitely overcooked...
In short, I don't like leaving bad comments, but this is really a "nightmare in the kitchen".
10/11/2024: Very good cuisine. The chef is very invested and this is reflected in the dishes.

Well located in the heart of Lisieux.
A high level of welcome and service.
The meal was a delight
Perfect deviled eggs, just the right amount of mayonnaise.
The finely cut and seasoned beef tartare, I recommend it.
Moules marinière with the real taste of the recipe.
Homemade fries
Everything is perfect

01/12/2024: 2nd time we tried this restaurant and same opinion as the first, we eat really well there! Hearty and excellent dishes, tender meat (one of the best steaks I have eaten so far)!
Prices largely correct for the quality, we will come back without hesitation
23/11/2024: An essential address for lovers of traditional French cuisine. This restaurant offers absolutely exceptional tripe from Caen, prepared in the purest Normandy tradition.
You can feel the love of the land in every bite. The warm and friendly atmosphere of the place, as well as the attentive welcome, help to make the experience unforgettable.

16/11/2024: Firstly, the setting: a very cozy room, tastefully decorated but without overload and an unstoppable view of the sea. A cozy and pleasant atmosphere.
The service: nothing to complain about, the staff is discreet and provides good advice with a smile.
And finally on your plate: the menu announces fresh products and they are there, a delight. Each bite melts with the flavors on point.

Extraordinary service with jokes and a smile, decent waiting time, very good homemade dishes and desserts. The only downside is too much salt in the fries.

22/08/2024: Auberge superbe , belles chambres , plats savoureux , patron et personnel au top , cela vous donne envie de rester plus longtemps.
notre fils s'est marié à cet endroit où l'on a pu apprécier le pigeonnier pour l'apéro et l'extérieur pour les photos .

12/12/2024: I find this place pleasant, as a student I have gone there twice now, we take advantage of the student offer which is wonderfully useful!! The coffees and chocolates are quite decent and the desserts are good from what we have or taste (especially the small cannelés) the upper room is pleasant and intimate. Friendly staff both times. Thank you for these nice snacks!!

A place for sharing, meeting and surprise, without forgetting tasting, because of course the superb VB team is there to help us discover quality products, from wine to beer and certain spirits. They are real specialists, you can trust them in the choice of your bottles.
Don’t hesitate to discover good beers at the bar, with a sausage or an aperitif board.
It’s a very friendly and family-friendly place where you won’t see the time passing by.

Les plats sont très bons et copieux y compris les menus enfants.
Le café gourmand était délicieux !

We can skip the pancakes, which are messier, which are a little below par.
18/09/2024: Warm welcome. Top notch cuisine. Especially since the chef doesn't change anything in his cooking, he definitely doesn't go shopping at Intermarché 😅🤣 (the chef will understand).
Thank you for this excellent meal between mother and son.
