08/12/2025: We had the opportunity to spend a weekend at the Hotel Le Savoy in Caen. The welcome was fantastic, the room pleasant and very clean. There's a 9-space parking lot available. The breakfast is very generous, with a variety of items. It's well located, 15 minutes from the Zenith concert hall, 15 minutes from the Caen Memorial, and close to the historic city center. The staff is very friendly. We'll definitely keep this address and recommend this hotel.

21/11/2025: The hotel is clean, and the receptionist is very professional. The room is very well laid out to maximize space. However, the individual shower cubicle is too small. The sink in the toilet is separate from the shower. The double-glazed windows are effective against outside noise (there's a lot of traffic). The elevator is narrow but very convenient. There's a kettle in the room with tea and coffee bags, and plenty of power outlets. The breakfast is varied (cereal, juice, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, etc.). The service is impeccable. The bedding is very comfortable. Parking is readily available on the surrounding streets.

27/01/2026: It was impossible to get a gas cylinder on Monday morning because, apparently, there was no one at the station. What a shame for a supermarket of this size, and it was very difficult to pay by card at the drive-through because the card readers were malfunctioning.

19/07/2025: RESTAURANT PERMANENTLY CLOSED A great place, but the restaurant has closed. There's a sign indicating a change of ownership and business! Want to see if the previous owners have another address because their crepes were delicious!

10/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A real treat in the heart of Dives-sur-Mer! We had a wonderful time at Les Délices d’Auge. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. The dishes are homemade, tasty, and beautifully presented, using quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the desserts, which we particularly enjoyed. The restaurant's atmosphere is friendly and authentic, with a pleasant setting that invites relaxation. A wonderful discovery that I recommend without hesitation!

17/10/2025: Very good experience, the meal was delicious and the dessert even better, I had the dish of the day: serrano as a starter, Brosne with semolina, beans and a sauce that went very well with everything for the main course and for dessert a caramel French toast. For all that I paid 18€ and I ate very well

25/01/2026: Having bought two Tradition pastries and two croissants today (Sunday), I am very disappointed. Why not put "Bakery, Pastry Shop, Masonry" on your storefront, given that the Tradition pastries look like two cinder blocks? Disappointed…

30/12/2025: Organic bakery in Bayeux High-quality breads and pastries. I highly recommend the raisin and hazelnut bread—it's amazing!!! The flaky brioche is worth the trip. Highly recommended!!!

06/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and a special mention goes to the manager/waiter who gave us great recommendations and with whom we had a lot of laughs. Bonus of the meal: the restaurant's music is carefully selected :)

01/12/2025: The food is mediocre, the fries are undercooked, and I don't get the impression of good quality here. When you order extra fries and are given a tray with a tiny handful of fries, even though you've already paid, and on top of that... there's a fried fish inside, I'm sorry, but that's unacceptable. The waiter's friendliness also seriously needs improvement. The price isn't high... so naturally, the quality leaves much to be desired.

10/11/2025: I gave it one star, but it deserves zero. Very disappointing. We waited three-quarters of an hour before anyone even took our order, and another 45 minutes to be served. The meal was very mediocre: overcooked fish, frozen vegetables that tasted like water. The wine we ordered was only served after we'd finished eating. Oh yes, the owner was awful. He told my impatient husband that he was retired and could wait. When my daughter called to mention that it was our 53rd wedding anniversary, he told her we must have been unfaithful because, for him, 53 years was impossible. A real jerk. Avoid at all costs.

03/01/2026: We booked 2 nights and received a written confirmation from the hand of the receptionist. We called in the afternoon the day of our arrival - 3 times. We arrived at 6.30pm. Hotel closed! No light. Metallic curtains closed. No sign of life. Is this a real hotel ????

07/12/2024: After playing at the Théâtre à l'Ouest next door, we came to dinner at Carlotta. Warm welcome from the owner. Very attentive service. A dozen oysters and a glass of Chardonay to start the meal off right. The setting is chic and cozy. The Carlotta is a very pleasant brasserie and the dishes are tasteful. This evening, we're going back: I'm going to taste my Tripes, "Tripière d'Or 2024" :)

23/11/2024: Le Carlotta, brasserie réputée sur les quais à Caen, à la déco désuète , nous a vraiment déçus. Rien n’était franchement mauvais mais rien n’était non plus franchement bon: de la brasserie classique sans le petit twist qui te donne envie de revenir. Si l’on excepte les tripes, les autres plats manquaient de générosité. En revanche la générosité se retrouve sur l’addition, bien plus assaisonnée que certains de nos plats.
