06/08/2026: UNACCEPTABLE! Very mediocre products for rather high prices; it just doesn't add up. A chocolate cake with a chemical aftertaste and brownies that were barely cooked, not kept refrigerated, and tasted just as questionable as the cake. To top it all off, the waitstaff's priority isn't serving customers, who are clearly there to fill the till—the faster they're served, the faster they're paid. A queue of 20 people, in the middle of tourist season, with one saleswoman wiping plates with disconcerting, even provocative, nonchalance; a second one putting bags of biscuits back in place without putting any effort into it; and a third, serving, in a "cool and pretentious" manner, who doesn't hesitate to take the time to chat with the "wiper." The disastrous 2.8 rating from the numerous reviews posted here is therefore entirely justified. It's very surprising that the management of this establishment doesn't seem to react and remains completely indifferent to the comments. So if you are passing through Deauville, a few steps away is the bakery "La Parisienne" and "Éric Kayser", don't ask yourself the question, go there and flee Meunier.

21/08/2026: Cleanliness left much to be desired. The food needs improvement (the pancakes were overcooked and under-filled, and the egg was completely mixed with the cheese and was far too overcooked). The children's menus were very small. The Coke wasn't cold. The salad was blackened. And the blonde waitress's friendliness leaves much to be desired. Asking for a new carafe of water was like asking for the moon. She came back to the table to take the children's dessert order and coughed over the table. Unprofessional. However, a special mention goes to the brunette waitress who was very pleasant and smiling. That was the only positive point.

07/03/2026: This place is absolutely abhorrent and wouldn’t stay here if I was paid. The food was radioactive, not a single bit of variety and felt like I was eating dog food (could be considered an improvement). The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, to list a few: mould on walls and bed sheets, showers that flood, sewage smell, and complete lack of concern for hygiene. Wouldn’t be surprised if the next global pandemic stemmed from this place. The staff were mostly ok but got a lot of funny looks. They seemed completely disinterested in working there as-well. The location was alright as had easy access to the historic d day landing beaches. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, stay away out of concern for your health. Would give this place negative stars if possible

01/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant and were extremely pleased with our meal. The sauce on the escalope was delicious. The ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Some reviews judge the owner and staff based on their skin color, which I find appalling, but there's not much we can do about such narrow-mindedness. For our part, we thank you for your kindness, the quality of your food, and your warm welcome. We will definitely return as soon as we are in the area. Thank you again.

29/11/2025: I'm not usually picky, and I've seen my fair share of restaurants... But how is it possible to run such a filthy establishment?? How is it possible to serve such disgusting food? And on plates, dirty dishes and cutlery, poorly washed... Everything filthy... The dining room is filthy... shoes stick to the tiles and slip on the grime... Mondial Relay packages are everywhere, on the tables and floor... here and there... Customers show up to pick up their packages during service... unbelievable... Seated facing the kitchen... the icing on the cake! You can see the damage to the ovens... The dishcloth used to hold the plates... indescribably dirty... It's inconceivable that customers have never gotten sick eating in this "restaurant." The DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) should investigate... This restaurant is a disgrace to the industry.

02/08/2026: WARNING, this McDonald's no longer accepts ANCV holiday vouchers, just to save time and easily take credit card payments... dirty table, no more sauces, that was our last time...

29/07/2026: Hello, This was my worst experience ever!!! Tonight I ordered to eat in. We waited over an hour. We received less than a quarter of our order, and there were five of us... meaning only one person got to eat, and even then, the food was cold. The waiter panicked when we told him the order wasn't complete. Plus, the tables outside are filthy!!! Avoid this place if you don't want to waste your time and eat properly. On top of that, we paid €71; we should have gone to a decent brasserie.

22/05/2026: A shout-out to the amazing blonde waitress with her dazzling smile that brightens up the terrace. And also to the whole team who are so friendly and fun-loving. Thank you, blonde lady (you deserve lots of tips 🤗)

14/05/2026: Exorbitant prices, 15 minutes to take the order, 10 minutes to be served, and 45 minutes to pay the bill. Some people reportedly left without paying!

08/08/2026: If you're English, do not expect an English menu. We had the choice of 3 things. Had a bacon and egg mcmuffin. And coffee and orange juice. Everything comes in reusable kiddies cup for the coffee. (Which was Luke warm and half full). Filled the gap. Not great. The French must come to the UK, and think their "breakfast Christmases" have all come at once!!!!!

07/07/2026: Pleasant, bright, and spacious setting. Good food. Very affordable and well-presented set menu. The children's menu is also suitable. A pleasant surprise to discover just a few minutes' drive from Deauville airport/airfield.

06/07/2026: Appalling service. Don't go here if you are not fluent in french. If I could leave a zero star review I would. Only 1 of the 4 meals came as ordered and what came was cold. 1 of the meals was seafood rather than the steak that was ordered. Staff just not interested. AVOID.

15/03/2026: What does it mean to call the toilets in such a pitiful state? The bar would do well to offer a small restaurant; it wouldn't hurt. Furthermore, there isn't really a menu. Prices are arbitrary; you'll pay depending on how you deal with the owner.

24/07/2026: On Tuesday I was buying chocolate and the saleswoman accidentally mixed up the amount I paid and I still don't have the money back in my account.

20/07/2026: We were very disappointed by the reception and lack of kindness, especially since we are loyal customers of this establishment and return every summer holiday to Cabourg. We came to buy madeleines in your shop, which also serves as a tea room. My 9-year-old son and his father asked to use the restroom, but were refused access on the grounds that there were cameras and that it wasn't permitted. We found this refusal particularly regrettable, especially since we are regular customers and it was an urgent need. A little understanding and compassion would have been appreciated, particularly towards a child. This experience leaves us with a very negative impression and unfortunately does not reflect the welcoming image we had of your establishment. Lydia D.

25/07/2026: It closes at 3:00 PM, we arrived at 1:45 PM for lunch, they sat us at a table, made us wait half an hour and then told us they had closed and could give us food.

12/07/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The galettes have no flavor; they're very disappointing. The different cheeses are mixed together, resulting in a cheese mush smothered on top of the galette. The cleanliness of the premises is truly mediocre. The only positive point: the waiter was friendly.
