13/08/2026: The tradition isn't bad, but everything else is mediocre at best. The waitresses are unfriendly, never smile, and don't speak clearly, making you feel like you're bothering them. They didn't even offer a gesture of goodwill for the last cookie, which was broken in two. Admittedly, we arrived late, but there were only two sandwiches left to choose from, while for the next customers, they offered to make new ones! In short, they're lucky to be practically the only bakery in Houlgate.

12/08/2026: The two waitresses were absolutely unfriendly, showing no respect whatsoever for the customers, and of course, no hello or goodbye. The sandwiches were very average, and the pastries were frozen. We love it.

10/08/2026: As a huge wok eater, this is the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever had. The meat was rotten. The aftertaste and strong, rotten smell left me wanting to vomit. The caramel pork must have been past its expiration date. I strongly advise against going to this Chinese restaurant. And a 1L bottle of San Pellegrino costs €7.50! A 33cl can of Coke costs €4.20. A liter of water is €6.50. I really don't recommend it.

10/08/2026: The restrooms are fairly clean. The tables are too. I'm disappointed with the quality for the price; the buffet is getting increasingly empty, with very little choice. And especially after 7:30 pm, the buffet is refilled only sporadically with sushi, rice, and salmon, and nothing else.

14/07/2026: Terrible atmosphere. It's very expensive for the quality, which isn't there; the crumbs on the chairs and tables are unnecessary.

25/07/2026: Bodigard is not nice to people, really zero club

19/07/2026: Truly disappointing. The bouncers let minors in, but made us wait for over an hour outside the club only to finally announce they weren't letting anyone else in. Furthermore, they clearly favored groups of girls. Inside, it was far too crowded, the organization was a disaster, and the doormen were incredibly unprofessional.

18/07/2026: A 30-minute wait even though there was only one car in the drive-thru. The staff could be more friendly.

12/07/2026: I bought a sundae for €3 and received it in a tiny 16cl McCafé cup! Not even full! My refund request was refused! And the employees behind me had the nerve to laugh in my face! I completely understand the 3.2 out of 5 stars, and frankly, you should be proud of it because you deserve less, and you even deserve to be shut down!

10/07/2026: Worst McDonald’s ever been. Serving time very long even if theres not lot of people. Ready food stand on table waiting to be served long time and everything is cold when u get it. U get wrong majoneses etc…

02/08/2026: It was another fiasco tonight. We rarely go there because we're disappointed every time. We ordered click & collect and waited an hour in the parking lot! I checked the €50 order and realized six things were missing!!!! Not one, six! How can they be so unprofessional! So I went back inside to ask for the missing items and saw a queue where people were sighing, getting impatient, even despairing. In short, we spent €50, waited an hour, and ate COLD food! I don't understand how the McDonald's in Isigny, Rots, and Courseulles manage, but the one in Bayeux has never succeeded??? Bring on the competition!

02/08/2026: We arrived at 8:05 PM. Order placed at 8:20 PM. Order served at 9:00 PM… No sauces, no napkins, incomplete orders. That's a lot, isn't it? 🫪

24/07/2026: Luckily or unfortunately for me, I only tried their galettes… Absolutely disgusting, I only ate the filling… the crepe was so thick and undercooked…

08/07/2026: This is where I went for lunch with my family on a gloomy and cold, rainy day. I was nervous going there, but the staff were friendly and the service was satisfactory. It was a shame that our sightseeing time in Honfleur was shortened because the mussel dish for the children was omitted and we had to wait to receive it.

26/08/2026: * Avoid at all costs: mediocre quality and outrageous value for money. The welcome was cold, lacking warmth and any attention whatsoever. The food was a real disappointment: the croque-madame with fries was frankly awful, with a ridiculously small portion, more suited to a children's menu and clearly insufficient for an adult. The penne with scallops was completely tasteless. Even worse, the scallops were poorly cleaned and contained sand that crunched between your teeth. A sickening and unacceptable experience in a restaurant. The mussels in cream sauce were particularly small, with very little meat. We were very disappointed by both the quality and the quantity. As for the three 25cl bottles of Monaco beer charged at €18, it's simply excessive. €69.40 in total for such a mediocre experience is unacceptable. Paying that price wouldn't be a problem if the quality and service were up to scratch, but here, we mostly felt ripped off. We strongly advise against La Maison Bleue. This is an address to avoid, both for the quality of the food and the value for money. We will never return.

24/08/2026: We had a drink on the terrace and ordered a platter listed on the menu as "charcuterie and tapas." It included a few slices of Emmental sausage and pâté, as well as some industrial chicken nuggets: I wouldn't call that tapas! The bread slices weren't fresh. Nice view, but disappointed by the quality.

25/07/2026: It's never pleasant to leave a negative review for a business... but still, there are limits to disrespect. This so-called pear, almond, and chocolate tart is a 'f***ing disgrace,' as Didier would say. No taste of chocolate, no taste of almond, and certainly no taste of pear. Maybe a hint of sugar, but even that's debatable. Sure, the service was friendly. But given the choice, we'd rather be greeted by a shrew and leave with an edible pastry. I gave mine to the pigeons.

18/05/2026: Honestly, it's a shame for the employees, who are nice, but they sell poor-quality products. The chocolate croissant was mass-produced and really not good. Reading the reviews is disheartening.

06/06/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ We were very disappointed with our visit to this pastry shop. We ordered two teas and two individual pastries for approximately €30. At that price, we expected a flawless experience. Our first surprise was with the strawberry cake: the plastic ring holding the pastry was extremely difficult to remove. Even with two people, we struggled to remove it without risking damaging the cake. This is neither practical nor pleasant when eating in. Regarding the tea service, we noticed that the teapot was not clean. There were visible marks on the rim, and my cup even had crumbs resembling croissant residue. This kind of detail leaves a very bad impression, especially in an establishment that aims to be upscale. Finally, the pastries were decent but not exceptional. Considering the perceived quality and the service we received, we were not convinced by the value for money. It's a shame, because we chose this place expecting a wonderful pastry experience. We hope these comments will help improve the quality of service and attention to detail.

17/05/2026: How sad to see that this beautiful Dupont establishment (successor to Etienvre), a Dives-sur-Mer institution where it all began, has become a pastry shop that has lost its quality and class. I know what I'm talking about; I'm from Dives-sur-Mer. It's heartbreaking.

25/08/2026: I went through the checkout on August 25th at 1:45 PM and the woman, who looked to be in her fifties, was speaking very rudely to her colleagues (a young man of about 20). What's more, I was served a dry piece of bread with my ham and butter sandwich.

22/08/2026: Bought two lemon meringue tarts today. Honestly, they were disgusting!!! First of all, it wasn't a tart but some kind of pseudo-cookie, so the crust wasn't cooked (that's a bad start). As for the lemon cream: we're still looking for the flavor, and frankly, there wasn't enough "lemon cream" considering the size of the cookie and the meringue. Speaking of the meringue: DISGUSTING! It was so badly made that you could feel every single sugar grain. I'll never go back to that place again.

20/02/2026: We ordered two pizzas online. After waiting an hour and a half without any delivery, we checked online to see if the establishment was actually open. Imagine our surprise to find that the pizzeria was listed as open, while several recent reviews mentioned pizzas never being delivered and the restaurant being closed. Despite our wait, we were never delivered and were never contacted.

19/02/2026: Don't order, IT'S CLOSED, but the website will still allow you to place an order. It's unprofessional not to have closed the ordering website if the business is closed (judging by the comments).
