27/08/2024: A nice cuisine which, in my opinion, lacks creativity and balance. Pleasant service... rather relaxed (!) and outdoor terrace near the bicycle parking area. A nice layout inside would be a plus (and more pressure on the sinks too!)

17/09/2024: I don't recommend, we wait too long and it's not plentiful Salad with frozen shrimp, a treat when you're next to the sea, My husband waited 1h30 to eat his entrecôte which was very very tasty, I won't do it again

17/09/2024: What a disappointment. I have known this restaurant since its creation (1999) and having a house in Loix, I came there regularly. In recent years, everything has deteriorated: the welcome, the service, the cuisine. I tested again today but this will remain my last visit. Fried mussels, a third of which are closed, whipped chocolate crepe, the plate arrives with the whipped cream dripping, unpresentable, We are pushing for consumption, as already mentioned in numerous opinions. We ask you to order everything, even the coffee... Unheard of for us who frequent many restaurants, including Michelin-starred ones.

05/09/2024: We chose the Eglade of mussels, accompanied by a plate of half a dozen oysters. Everything is perfect. We are very well received, we chat, we feel at home. We are explained the principle of cooking églade, quite an art. People who don't like the place are worthless people who don't know how to appreciate authentic and simple things.

24/08/2024: Exceptional meal with products from this family of producers! Excellent menus served with drinks included at lunchtime in a simple, authentic setting. Only happiness <3 A welcome as we like them 👍 To do again on our next visit to the island!

01/09/2024: First visit today with family...and certainly not the last! Very friendly service, copious and excellent “mussels” menu...a smile as a bonus! Happy end of the season!

09/08/2024: I stopped for the first time. And I'm delighted. Friendly welcome, the pizzas are plentiful and very good So honestly, don’t hesitate.

04/08/2024: Bland, poor and dishonest cuisine. I think the chef who is praised on the menu at the entrance and on the brochure must have been absent that day🤔. A service without any involvement and an obvious lack of professionalism. What a shame not to know at the end of the service the garnish that accompanies the dish 🧐. Terrace on the edge of the expressway, very noisy, set up (cutlery) which seems eternal in view of the towels blackened by pollution. Value for money, well below what we can read..

23/08/2024: I only bought a hot chocolate which was nothing special. The service was good, however the smell of cigarettes invaded our table which was not pleasant.

05/09/2024: Merveilleux moments culinaires..crevettes au wasabi...duo de thon excellent, filet lieu jaune parfait, moules marinières cuites à la perfection...la qualité des produits et l'accueil sont bel et bien présents...ça fait du bien

04/09/2024: We were really excited to try this place as we’d seen the reviews! Real shame the waiter was quite curt with us (not sure if because we were English!) the manager was lovely and very welcoming and despite us not having a booking gave us a table by the beach. We all ordered the cote de boeuf and the beef sadly was very poor quality. Lots of gristle and fat (we have eaten this cut many many times!) and struggled to cut it. The service was slow and took about an hour to clear our plates, we’d have had dessert but the guys just took too long, we mentioned the meat being a bit tough to which the manager replied this was from a different place and they knew it wasn’t as good. Not great to hear after they’ve charged you the same price when they know it’s not great quality. Had the meat been better quality I know it’s have been cooked to perfection and the charcoal waste was lovely. Real shame!

23/08/2024: Avoid pizza not particularly good or not great and especially traders not nice at all and don't want to work, don't give your money to people like that rather to others who deserve

04/09/2024: Well located restaurant. The “vegebowl” dish was good, with lots of flavors. The service is a little quick, we received the aperitif at the same time as the dishes... Servers not really smiling... too bad.

04/09/2024: Evening meal taken in this restaurant at the beginning of September, I had the mussels marinière, they were very good, perhaps a little lack of seasoning but don't worry, you will still enjoy it! Nothing to say about the quantity. As for the atmosphere, it's certainly not the most beautiful restaurant in Royan but it's passable. For the service we were greeted by a smiling waitress, a smile that is missing on the faces of her colleagues.. I deplore the fact that the dish arrives barely 3 minutes after the drinks :/ In short, we ate well there all the same.

26/09/2024: Comida sin más. Servicio super lento. Menú malo, ensalada pysanne era todo baicon , hojas lechuga pocas y varias en mal estado, lámina champiñón según salen del bote. Mejillones nada q ver con los de otros sitios.

11/07/2024: Very pleasant setting, very good staff, very hearty and very good meal for a more than reasonable price. I highly recommend it when I return on vacation we will happily return. Good luck to them

09/07/2024: 07/2024 Deplorable and very long service, minimal quantity, in short totally disappointed, it has changed a lot since our last visit in 2023 which was still OK. 08/2022 Friendly welcome by a dynamic and attentive team. The dishes are good and properly garnished, the quality and freshness of the products seems to be present. Spacious room and not too noisy. Don't hesitate to go there and form your own opinion.

25/08/2024: Good morning We really liked the magnificent setting but the waitress is not pleasant at all, her way of communicating is not good at all (we feel like we are disturbing). It's a shame because there's not much missing to recommend this place.

29/08/2024: Waitress who seems to be the very unpleasant boss, she allowed herself to move our stroller without even asking us, our daughter's booster seat, and our backpack even though the boss had allowed us to use the table for her, but It didn't seem to suit this lady. There are ways of doing and speaking, she doesn't know them, it was really rude and disrespectful. Pancakes are expensive for their content. Run away and go elsewhere to be received in a pleasant and professional manner.

29/08/2024: We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a nice surprise. Pleasant staff, good service and the dishes and desserts are good I recommend

07/07/2024: Just lovely chocolates and the owner knows very well her products. Buy more than you think you will need. You will need it.
