02/08/2024: La Marmotte d’Or is a very nice pub in Montriond because the staff are very nice they are also welcoming the service is very good and the food is amazing and there is a very nice view. If you like drinking in pubs in montriond I would highly recommend this pub.

16/12/2024: Manifestement, débordé pour en début de saison. 30 minutes d’attente pour un burger et des frites, la cuisson qui m’a été demandée n’a pas été respectée. Le temps de payer et d’aller aux toilettes ils avaient vidé la table et mis ma bouteille d’eau aux poubelles.

28/08/2024: Very warm welcome! After a very long hike in Haute-forts, we had not had any water for 1.5 hours... Relieved to see a restaurant, we went in to simply have a drink: we were offered a large carafe of fresh water. We were able to chat with the very welcoming owners.

22/06/2024: We stopped off here lots of times in our short stay in Annecy, we had a great experience every time. We had coffee when it was raining. And watched lots of football Games enjoying a beer too. The staff were super friendly and very efficient at Thier jobs . lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this place !

12/03/2026: A two-day stay at the end of December at this establishment. There was a problem between Booking.com and the hotel regarding the reservation of two meals on two different days, and the hotel still owes us €50 (for two meals not taken, as the restaurant was closed that evening). The hotel has been ignoring us ever since, despite calls, emails, and contact with Booking.com. Oh, and to top it all off, a French door in the room didn't close properly; we reported it, but nothing was done. Apparently, in winter, that's not a problem...

02/02/2026: We came for a weekend; the reservation was in my husband's name. I left my bedpan in the room when I left on Sunday. I called reception on Monday and never heard back. First, it was the chambermaid, then they never found it. Not very honest, and they certainly didn't keep me informed.

08/11/2024: Very nice restaurant, the cuisine and the concept are very successful. Very warm welcome I recommend!

06/01/2026: We booked a table for nine people the day before our departure, and they had already booked us for the following day. It was impossible to find another restaurant at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night. The owners were unreliable and not very friendly.

04/01/2026: A warm and inviting restaurant with beautiful decor and attentive staff. The raclette was decent, nothing special. The charcuterie platter was adequate, with plenty of potatoes. The cheese portion was just enough for two people, nothing like the restaurants Les Cornettes or L'Atelier de Jacky in La Chapelle d'Abondance, where you leave with a truly full stomach.

16/03/2024: Tourist factory, 10 to 12€ more expensive than the cheese factory located 60 meters away. He only makes cheese slabs compared to what they present for sale. It is better to buy from small producers rather than from cooperatives (fruit producers are better). Disgusted with this place. Not even open year round. This is how small producers do not survive.

06/03/2024: We went there at the beginning of March to buy some cheese (Gruyère and Comté), and a sausage, we got it for 42.06. (More than 30 euros for 2 slices of cheese.) Exhorbitant price at first glance, but we decided to wait to taste the products. Cheese nothing more, and fatty and unripened sausage (the seller asked us to dry it for a few days, at this price we still expected it to be “done”)… Go your way!
