23/05/2026: We had a very good meal and the waiter was very friendly. The fries were homemade 🍟
14/05/2026: We booked a table for 10, received a friendly welcome, and enjoyed a warm atmosphere. We ordered different dishes and everyone ate very well (Welsh beef, ribeye steak, fish, Parmentier, rigatoni…). The homemade dessert was delicious!
We'll be back on our next visit.

Completely satisfied both days.

Burrata with mushrooms as a starter...delicious!
Scallopini Milanese as a main course...the best I've ever had!
Gourmet Irish dessert...super good!

30/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Lion Bossu. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy. In short, we will definitely return when we are next in the beautiful city of Lille.
27/05/2026: Extremely disappointed with the service. I came with my friends for a birthday, and we were forced to take the €50 set menu for "greater convenience"—I've never seen anything like it! We couldn't even get a carafe of water; the waiter pretended not to understand. The meat was served with knives with rounded tips, making it impossible to cut properly, and my dessert arrived with bits of plastic in it. I had heard nothing but good things about this place, so I'm extremely disappointed.

If you want to spend a pleasant evening in a small, intimate setting with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. As soon as I'm back in Valenciennes, I'm going back!

16/05/2026: I had a wonderful experience there yesterday, what a treat! We received a very warm welcome. The service was quick, the chef frequently checked to see if everything was alright, the smiling lady who looked after us was delightful, and the meal was simply outstanding. We ordered the tuna and the tongue. Go and discover something truly unique. It's well worth it!

We made our reservation 15 minutes before our requested time. The welcome was warm, everything was done to make us feel comfortable.
The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the setting is lovely. We will definitely be back :)

The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is attentive, and the menu is perfectly crafted.
It's a wonderful experience!
