13/09/2024: Superb discovery! A timeless tavern, with a decor that smells like a flea market. Very warm welcome, where we are given the choice to take our time. The plates are excellent and very generous... Thank you for this good time.

11/09/2024: Excellent time spent in this restaurant located on the main square of Cassel The owner, although overwhelmed this Sunday afternoon, welcomed us very warmly and installed us quickly and efficiently. The decor of the “old-fashioned” restaurant is very pleasant and the atmosphere is very family-friendly and good-natured. A terrace is accessible in good weather with a nice panorama The waiter and waitress present that day showed an excellent welcome, but also efficiency without being pushy The menu reflects typical estaminet cuisine. Lard with herbs was a good rediscovery 😁 The stew was excellent as well as the home fries. However, I was surprised not to find any Welsh on this map 😉 Last good surprise, the prices are not exaggerated I will come back with pleasure 👍

07/07/2024: Very nice address with unusual decor and concept on the theme of flea markets. The homemade dishes, of course very fresh, are succulent and served with good portions, except for the fries, served a little thin, for which I would have liked to have been offered a supplement during the meal to avoid the waste. Diverse choice of draft beers. The whole team is remarkable for their kindness, especially the adorable young servers! Thank you to the whole team for your welcome.

29/09/2024: We are used to this restaurant in old Lille. The atmosphere, the cuisine and above all the service are top notch. The four of us ate meat and salmon tartars, a hamburger and a Welsh. Everything very good and fresh. Small dessert to end this beautiful evening. I recommend.

08/09/2024: The setting of the restaurant is very friendly, welcoming. The restaurant has parking at the entrance. Lots of fish during our visit, fortunately the chef adapts and does not only have one menu per table.. there is also a menu for vegetarians. Lots of local products! Big downside for the service which is not up to par with the rest. However, we ate very well, special mention for the desserts! I recommend booking in advance.

08/09/2024: We ate well, the service is average, €495 for two people with the food and wine pairing billed at €90 per person (not worth it), excessive prices for a non-starred restaurant, for the price go to Le Cerisier, a restaurant starred and exceptional service!!!!

10/08/2024: I discover the restau with arriving with the boat in the Marina. Since then, we come often with friends and fam. We live in Belgium, +/ 100km, and it's a nice distance to make with the bicycle. The view on the terras is nice, and the waiters are friendly and fast, food qualty is top. Good team!

The staff is very welcoming, full of good intentions (especially with the gentlemen). The perfect show (a little more French songs would be good for older people). The meal was excellent.
