He's passionate about cooking with local products (high-quality meat and bread from neighboring shops, farmhouse cheddar that's nothing like the supermarket kind) and he takes the time to ask for our feedback with great kindness. The service was also perfect. These days, that's so rare it deserves to be highlighted. We were just passing through Lille, but we've kept the address and will definitely be back. Thank you again! You feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The dishes are generous, homemade, and bursting with flavor, with a special mention for the perfectly executed regional specialties. The staff is smiling, attentive, and passionate. It's the kind of place you visit once... and then happily return to. An excellent spot for a great time with friends or family. I recommend it 100%!

10/05/2026: Thanks to the owner who expanded the space to fit two more people at a table of 13. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves; the kidneys were delicious. 10/05/2026: Third visit to Scoop, lunch this time on the terrace with my sons, and still delighted. The dishes are delicious, the Thai tartare is to die for, but this time I opted for the veal kidneys with oyster mushroom and coppa sauce. Extraordinary. The desserts are just as good as the main courses, excellent (pistachio and red berry parfait). A wonderful place that I highly recommend, with a staff that's always so friendly—what more could you ask for! Thank you.

21/05/2026: With my wife, on a Wednesday evening. You can tell it's homemade, very good. The menu is well done because it includes notes on the spice level: 🌶️ or 🌶️🌶️ or none at all. For an aperitif, we had the to-punch...wow!!! 😁 And all served with a smile. We were delighted and will definitely go back.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the menu featured typical Northern dishes (among others) made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! A little bistro just the way we like them.

28/05/2026: Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. The main course was delicious, bursting with flavor. The dessert was to die for. I recommend it 1000%! The little back terrace felt just like home; it was simply perfect.

25/04/2026: The welcome, the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the generous portions are all exceptional. Personally, I've rarely eaten such a tender Welsh rarebit. All the flavors are there: cheddar, beer, ham, mustard. The homemade fries are a delight and incredibly easy to digest. Madame's hanger steak with shallots is a pure marvel, and the shallot confit isn't just for show. I finished with a Cuba/coffret... Unlike many other establishments, here, it's the coffee you're really looking for, given the strong rum flavor. Despite a recent change of ownership, I'm happy that the continuity that makes the establishment so special has remained intact. This is a place, a true gem of a restaurant, to remember and share with friends and epicureans who love good (light 😂😂) Flemish cuisine.

29/03/2026: We came to the area to buy furniture. After a three-hour drive, we needed a place to eat. The salesperson recommended this place. We highly recommend it; the welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the food more than adequate. We couldn't even have dessert because it was so generous. And all this at a very reasonable price! Try it without hesitation! Thanks again!

21/05/2026: We come to Le Potager des Demoiselles regularly, and it's always a pleasure for the whole family. The food is exquisite, with dishes that are out of the ordinary and truly delight the taste buds. Patrick always has great advice, a smile, and he doesn't hesitate to chat with his customers and make them feel comfortable, creating genuine connections. It's always a joy to see him again. They offer excellent bottles of wine. We often leave with a bottle or two since they sell them. And the Alain Milliat juices are simply divine! The team is fantastic. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts are always devoured by everyone. The dishes are creative, beautifully presented, and generous. Even the bread is perfect! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decor is lovely, there's a little music, and air conditioning or heating depending on the season. We always feel comfortable there. Furthermore, there's a parking lot in front of the restaurant, which makes parking easy. The prices are justified by the quality of the service and the food. I highly recommend this restaurant in Vendeville! We always return with pleasure.

Quality, seasonal products, enhanced by the creativity of the kitchen team. All this accompanied by service where sharing is key, and the "food and wine" pairing takes on its full meaning. We live in Normandy and we will be back, both for what we tasted and for this timeless moment with the dining room staff. Thank you.
