16/09/2026: I’m giving 4 stars because I genuinely hope they were simply having a bad day. Most of the staff were friendly and pleasant, although unfortunately the gentleman at the bar made us feel more like intruders than customers. The biggest disappointment was the steak. I specifically ordered it medium rare, but what arrived was clearly overcooked, as you can see from the photo I’ve attached. On top of that, it seemed to have no seasoning whatsoever no salt, no pepper, nothing. For a restaurant serving steak, I expected much better. I’m reluctant to judge a restaurant based on one visit, which is why I’m still giving 4 stars. But if this is genuinely how their medium-rare steaks are normally prepared, I have to admit I’m a little puzzled by some of the 5-star reviews complimenting the food. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day.

18/09/2026: A recent discovery. Warm welcome, very pleasant setting, excellent cuisine, and all at a very reasonable price. It's worth noting that the aperitif is served very generously, unlike in other establishments.

03/10/2026: One weekday evening, we took advantage of having some free time to dine at La Cambuse. There were four of us, and we were all very happy. My Maroilles burger was delicious, as were the fries. I recommend this place. The service was pleasant and quick.

02/10/2026: Traditional and generous cuisine. Four set menus and a varied à la carte selection. Special mention for the terrine as a first course. However, a slight disappointment with the accompanying crudités compared to previous years. The foie gras is still excellent and a generous slice.

17/09/2026: Great atmosphere, light lunch with a charcuterie board. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the meal (chicken with Maroilles cheese) was excellent. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but it hides a treasure trove of delicious food and warm hospitality.

13/09/2026: Wonderful food here, I really liked the menu of the moment which was a porkchop with a nice sauce and potatos. My wife got the steak which was a little under cooked and stringy based on her request. The people were very helpful and friendly even though we speak less French. The restaurant itself is quite nice.
