29/04/2026: I visited this place on April 29th during a very busy period. I am ashamed of the appalling behavior of some customers. There was indeed a wait (understandable given the crowd). Impatient customers pushed their way to the register to vent their anger at the poor, overwhelmed employees. Such rudeness did not leave me indifferent, and I wanted to acknowledge the courage, kindness, and patience shown by the staff. I will gladly return, wait or no wait.

21/04/2026: The restaurant was recommended to us by our guesthouse, and we weren't disappointed. The menu is small but well-thought-out, and the meal was very good. A little gem worth discovering.

20/04/2026: Very disappointed with this restaurant. Far too expensive, limited selection, tasteless dishes or bizarre flavor combinations. A gloomy atmosphere... The rave reviews must be from the same person, judging by their vocabulary and phrasing... There are much better options in the area.

From the warm welcome and impeccable service provided by the charming and smiling Cynthia, to the equally delicious food (as always), everything was perfect. 27/05/2026: Magnificent building. Beautiful garden with both sun and shade. A small pool with clear water for a refreshing dip. Excellent interior. Tamara and Bruno are very welcoming and professional hosts.

16/05/2026: It's important to note that this hotel has been under new management since January 2026 and we recently had a lovely and relaxing 2 day stay here. The hotel is a gem which is currently being polished so there is a little room for improvement like a few more hooks in the bathroom but I'm confident these small changes will be made in time. The couple who are running it are warm, helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have all recently been tastefully redone, the beds and linens have all been replaced and the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The garden and pool area is lovely, with beautiful views I went for a swim in the pool and although a bit bracing at first (it is only May) it was gorgeous and big enough to swim proper lengths, there are plenty of sun loungers available to chill out around the pool or in the garden. The hotel is perfectly situated at the top of the village, there is plenty of parking (which contrary to earlier reviews is included). You won't need a car though if you are going into the village as the restaurants and potterys are within easy walking distance. We found the hotel a very calm and tranquil place to be in and the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area, Uzés, Le Pont du Gard etc.

10/05/2026: A superb hotel in a quiet and peaceful location. Everything is tastefully done, from breakfast to the hotel's decor. The staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

10/06/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh organic bread and homemade jams.

19/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to discover the chef's new recipes, each more tempting than the last, in a pleasant and relaxing setting, not to mention the professionalism and kindness of the ever-smiling owner who pampers us throughout the meal. A must-visit in the area! A hidden gem tucked away in the hills above Chusclan!

17/05/2026: One of my favorite restaurants, I love it. Always top-notch for at least 20 years! Lunch on the terrace with a view when the weather's nice is the icing on the cake. I absolutely love it!

Passing through St. Gilles, we found this café very charming. There's a limited selection of dishes: salads or daily specials, but they're very well prepared, homemade with good ingredients! It's exactly what we were looking for. We'll be back if we're ever in the area! 😉
