The owner is lovely, and the place is very cute.
However, it's quite small (3-4 tables), and we were lucky to get a table for two, so if you want to eat in, come during off-peak hours.
I recommend going there to eat 🇻🇳

02/08/2026: We came as a group, having booked in advance to eat on the terrace in the evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the staff very pleasant and helpful in recommending wines. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. It was a perfect experience for me; we had a wonderful time. Thank you again.
26/07/2026: We had a wonderful time as a couple at "Le Founguiz" restaurant in Vergèze. The welcome, the service, and the quality of the food were all excellent. We opted for the set menu, which can be divided into three courses, and it was a real treat.
In short: "Let's go!"

Despite being short staffed tonight, they coped admirably.
Very nice interior or exterior seating options.
A gem to find on our rail tour through France. Probably our best meal in France so far this trip.

The staff is very welcoming and offers plenty of choices to create the perfect dish. The prices for the lunch menu are very affordable and reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍
