07/08/2026: Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the setting was magnificent with its view of the nearby waterfall. The servings were truly generous for the price; we couldn't finish because my girlfriend and I don't eat to force ourselves, but to enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend it, especially for a date.

12/07/2026: A very warm welcome, top-notch service, and attentive, smiling waiters. Impeccable homemade paella, and an exceptional bull steak. High quality, lovely shaded and breezy terrace. A must-try. Extremely reasonable prices, quite good for the south, with an excellent selection on the €16.50 set menu.

10/07/2026: We went to eat there as a group of five on our first night after a 12-hour drive. It was a sweltering heatwave. We remembered the paella being reasonably priced. We left disappointed, having waited an hour in a sauna to eat, and the children had already finished. The octopus salad wasn't available for my 14-year-old. The paella was incredibly spicy, we were too full, and it was far too hot. We were offered two coffees that we wouldn't have had. We were extremely disappointed. The kitchen was at fault. A small suggestion: update your decor; it's outdated.

07/08/2026: Returning from the Uzès market, we stumbled upon this little restaurant near Alès (at La Jasse de Bernard). After a nice cold beer, we tucked into our meal. One word…EXCELLENT. Simple and delicious!! The fries…TOTALLY AMAZING!! In fact, I had seconds!! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!! A. Bel.

02/08/2026: We came as a group, having booked in advance to eat on the terrace in the evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the staff very pleasant and helpful in recommending wines. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. It was a perfect experience for me; we had a wonderful time. Thank you again.

26/07/2026: We had a wonderful time as a couple at "Le Founguiz" restaurant in Vergèze. The welcome, the service, and the quality of the food were all excellent. We opted for the set menu, which can be divided into three courses, and it was a real treat. In short: "Let's go!" Thank you for this wonderful experience.

03/07/2026: Tamara and Bruno were friendly and efficient hosts - a great stopping off point near to Grot Chauvet2 and the Pont d’Arc 20 mins by car and between Lyon Montpellier and Marseille.

12/06/2026: We had a memorable three days in Barjac at La Gourguille. Bruno and Tamara are welcoming and just perfect hosts. We stayed in the St Louis rooms. The views were as wonderful as the amenities. We enjoyed the pool, the steam shower, playing mancala and eating amazing meals served on the terrace or dining room. Perfect location for exploring the region. Tamara also gave a great recommendations for cultural sites and local restaurants. We hope to return!

16/08/2026: I loved your watermelon carpaccio. The setting is relaxing and shaded, in a very small hilltop village; you have to know where to go. Everything is well-cooked, well-seasoned, and very good. The menu is short but offers two choices, with or without meat, and it was delicious with very reasonable prices.

14/08/2026: The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is equally excellent, with the best waiter ever, Michel. This place must continue to thrive; it's a haven of serenity and unique flavors in the Cévennes!

14/06/2026: Located just before Uzès, this hotel is really pleasant and offers excellent value for money. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast served at the table is very good, and the swimming pool is a real bonus after a day of sightseeing.

10/06/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh organic bread and homemade jams.
