18/08/2026: After the show, we were looking for dinner. We stumbled upon this place, and I don't think I'll be back. We were disappointed. Even though the service was impeccable, the waitress's lovely smile wasn't enough to win us over. The duck confit was indigestible; barely warmed up, it tasted like it had just come out of a can. The plate was full of empty space. As for the desserts, the crème brûlée was floury and the chocolate fondant was sad. Homemade would have been much nicer, I think.

07/08/2026: While visiting Uzès during the village festival, I witnessed a scene that struck me, right in front of the tables of this restaurant. A mother with her four-year-old child was walking on the sidewalk, like most passersby—unaware, as tourists, that the road had been closed to traffic for the occasion and that she could therefore have walked on it without any risk. The restaurant owner reprimanded her for walking on the sidewalk in front of his establishment, something that could have been pointed out with a modicum of courtesy. Instead, he accompanied his remark with copious insults, which I won't repeat here, but which were inexcusable toward a mother with a young child. I was walking right behind her and felt targeted by the same attitude. I understand that managing service during a busy period can be stressful, but nothing justifies this kind of behavior toward passersby who were simply discovering the place. A simple, polite explanation — for example, inviting them to walk on the now pedestrianized road — would have been more than enough!

12/08/2026: A simple and pleasant experience. Quick service. Good fries, but the chocolate mousse was rather ordinary. Average price €30 per person.

23/07/2026: I couldn't ask for more, either in terms of service or value for money. This establishment is wonderful. The waitresses are very professional and always smiling; you receive a warm welcome. The buffet is varied and high-quality. The grilled meat is truly delicious and cooked exactly as requested. Whenever I have the chance to stop in the area, I will gladly return.
