09/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome; the owner even set up an extra parasol for us because there were no more shaded spots available. The spritzes were delicious, with several varieties including Aperol, Campari, limoncello, etc., and very affordable at €9. We had a wonderful time!

23/03/2026: Opposite the Nîmes theater, you can enjoy a relaxed drink with friends without any fuss. It's particularly cool in the summer, and the terrace is open almost year-round. The owner is always very friendly.

28/10/2025: Strange experience. Negative points: The owner was smoking a cigarette outside the table at 7:30 pm when we arrived. There were two forks instead of one and a knife on the table. The table next to us wasn't fully set. There were stains on the tablecloth on the side facing the customer. Only one red wine was available (due to a delivery issue...) and it was served cold because "it's just come from the cellar, you'll have to wait a bit"... (if there were no other wines, why wasn't it at least brought to room temperature beforehand??). The scallop risotto was underwhelming, far from being a risotto, with barely two scallops on the plate. The starter was a trio of foie gras, including pan-seared foie gras served on a chilled plate. There was a 30-minute wait between courses (and there were only six tables). The desserts were uninspired and expensive, especially for a mass-produced chocolate fondant (15 euros, just the Metro brand fondant, and a scoop of store-bought sorbet). The owner was smoking a cigarette at 8:50 pm (in the company of the chef, so it's no wonder we waited 30 minutes between courses), so we went outside to ask for the bill. I asked where the restrooms were, and the owner said, "Wait, I'll go check, I haven't had time to clean them," and flushed the toilet in front of me... no soap. That's outrageous. Positive points: The welcome was still friendly. The food was well-prepared, the ingredients were good, but nothing was exceptional, even if the techniques and cooking methods were sound. For example, the scallop risotto was far from being a risotto, and inexplicably topped with the same garnish as all the other dishes (the same one I had on my tournedos Rossini): a mix of sautéed vegetables, including potatoes. About the risotto... The place is quite unusual. An experience costing 100 euros for two, but not worth it. A shame. 100 euros is a lot of money.

17/10/2025: Extremely good. Even at past midnight, you could eat. Lovely place. We were the only two that late night. Clear, cosy and romantic. Fresh products, nice attendance. Tasty. My girlfriend said orgasmic. Served by the Chef himself. Not as expensive as it should be. A place to recommend, no doubt.

26/02/2026: Today we had a wonderful afternoon tea with a pistachio latte, waffle, and Kinder Bueno cookie. I can assure you it was delicious, and I even had some to take home! We'll definitely be back regularly and would love to be welcomed by Elodie. 😃🤌👍

08/06/2026: The service was very slow and haphazard (a few mistakes). The buffets are no longer up to standard. I knew Vatel Brasserie, which was of a different caliber. Customers serve themselves, and there's no supervision, so some people dip their fingers into the dishes to taste the sauces and then lick them clean... Only the dishes that arrived one by one, two hours later, were good.

30/04/2026: My wonderful friends treated me to this special, unique , discreet restaurant situed in a small road in the city of Nîmes. It's quite original. I'm in complete admiration of the owner, an exceptional woman that greets, serves, cooks, etc all by herself!!! The food high quality fresh homemade. Gluten-free. You feel like you are at home sharing a good meal with loved ones. I will definitely return. I highly recommend to all to discover this restaurant ! Beware, she only has a few tables! Not for large groups.

29/04/2026: I'm from Nîmes and I discovered this restaurant with English friends because I absolutely needed gluten-free options. Don't be put off by the slightly dated exterior or the slightly old-fashioned style of the dining room; once you start tasting Martine's cooking, it won't matter much. Her pieds paquets and pissaladière are delicious; it's traditional and generous cuisine. The gluten-free bread is homemade. Thank you, Martine, for sharing your passion and commitment to cooking and offering gluten-free options for those who need them.

04/01/2026: A lovely spot nestled in an artsy courtyard, a bohemian yet decidedly bourgeois wine cellar, and delicious food. A delightful evening at reasonable prices in a unique setting.

02/11/2025: It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

01/05/2026: I often go there at lunchtime during my break with colleagues from work, and it's always a real pleasure. We meet up between noon and 2 p.m. to have a good time together in a friendly atmosphere. The service is pleasant and attentive, which makes the experience even better. A great place to eat well and share a nice moment during the week!

14/05/2026: Not great. The pitchers of white wine... ugh. Outdated. The rosé wasn't any better. And the food truck... Getting worse and worse.

21/03/2026: A coffee after a hike, undoubtedly the best latte I've had in a long time: a large cup with a beautiful froth, and a very reasonable price. A very friendly manager and a lovely post-hunt atmosphere, typical of the local villages. A pleasant moment!

28/03/2026: Visiting this city with my son, and feeling hungry, we opted for this small restaurant. We had lunch on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine. The waiter was pleasant. The dishes were delicious.
