07/12/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I had to: Dinner with friends (table of 6) on a Saturday evening, sumptuous, magnificent setting. The lady and gentleman who served us were exceptionally kind. As for the meal, it's simple: DELICIOUS! The foie gras was to die for. Personally, I had a fish quenelle with crayfish cream: I can't remember the last time I enjoyed fish so much. As for the prices: simply commensurate with the quality of the experience, as I often say: "quality remains, price is forgotten." Thank you for this lovely moment of calm and quality; we will be back.

11/12/2025: I often try to contribute to the lively atmosphere of downtown Sommières by shopping in its stores. The shopkeepers are usually very friendly. But I find 4 euros a bit expensive for a cappuccino in this small town. Besides, the streets are quite deserted during this holiday season...

10/12/2024: I will no longer be able to eat at your place in peace You may have a hundred friends who support you in Facebook comments... we're still talking about harmful! This is intolerable! Whether they are in the changing rooms or I don't know where, it is still in your establishment that the hygiene service found them... these little creatures are eating well somewhere!

08/10/2025: I do not recommend the establishment. I was assaulted by the person at reception. I explained this to the manager and the manager is an accomplice with her employees and did nothing.

16/09/2025: Review of the HI Hostel in Nîmes 🌟 Very well located, the HI Hostel in Nîmes provides easy access to the city center and major tourist attractions. The welcome is warm, the staff is friendly, and the place itself is pretty, clean, and welcoming. It's an ideal place for travelers on a budget. One small drawback: there are no snacks on site, and no sandwiches are available. So, remember to plan ahead, especially if you're arriving late or outside of mealtimes. 📍 For those arriving by bus, take line 70 at the Jean Jaurès stop and get off at the Youth Hostel—it's the most convenient way to reach the hostel. In short: a simple, well-designed, and pleasant hostel... as long as you have a snack on hand!

26/10/2025: The grounds are magnificent and the food is of good quality. There's nothing to complain about either the setting or the meal. On the other hand, the welcome was very cold, which really tarnished the experience. For a wedding, you expect a minimum of warmth and kindness, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It's a shame, because the venue deserves better.

21/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today, and everything was really excellent. We ate very well with good, fresh ingredients, and were served very quickly by very friendly waiters and waitresses. We will definitely be back!

20/01/2026: As I do, starting my day, I find the best place to have a coffee. I love my coffee. Staff here are super cool and very accommodating.

28/01/2026: A 40-minute wait for a cold burger with dry meat and equally cold fries (no paper napkin, either): After waiting 30 minutes, I asked the waitress if they had forgotten my order. She looked for my number on the drink cups, even though no drink was listed on the receipt I gave her. So I had to tell her that I hadn't ordered a drink. She replied that it would be "ready soon" without any apology for the delay. I waited another 10 minutes before she finally came to serve me… only to ask me again if I was missing a drink 🤦‍♀️ And to top it all off, dirty tables and overflowing trash cans! Never again McDonald's! Added January 28th in response to your feedback: Thank you for your reply. However, being "surprised" doesn't change the reality of our experience: a 40-minute wait, cold burgers and fries, and a rather unclean restaurant. Your response, lacking apologies or solutions and bordering on skepticism, accurately reflects the mentality we experience as customers during our visits: little listening and little consideration for the people who make a living from your restaurant. For these reasons, we will never return to McDonald's in Nîmes, and don't worry, your reputation is already sealed.

25/01/2026: A one-hour wait at the drive-thru is just unacceptable! Everything was cold and disgusting. They didn't even offer a coffee while I waited. Avoid at all costs!!

29/06/2024: A beautiful bakery where the selection of pastries quickly fills up. So, you'll have to come at the right time! I was able to get my hands on a chocolate Swiss roll, and if all their creations are as good as this pastry, it will be the best bakery I've ever been to. I can only recommend you try their products.

01/11/2025: Drawn in by the menu featuring an omelet with chanterelles and black trumpet mushrooms, you discover an exceptional spot: a awning-covered patio, an island of tranquility in the heart of Nîmes. The service is outstanding, the sommelier offers excellent advice, and the cuisine is homemade using fresh, local ingredients, orchestrated by renowned chef Sébastien Granier, a Bocuse alumnus (photo visible at the entrance). The wine cellar is top-notch... a set menu at €25, the omelet at €19... it's top-notch without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

13/12/2025: Excellent service. The menu is limited, considering everything is strictly homemade. The only downside is the lack of two heaters for the outdoor terrace. Worth a visit!
