30/12/2025: Le Clos de l'Ecureuil: a setting, a warm welcome, a delight for the senses. Each dish enchants the palate, and the nose and eyes are filled with pleasure... a moment of pure bliss. Le Clos has been a part of our family life. While we understand that retirement will come one day, we'll have to do without it now, and we'll miss stepping through the door of this gourmet haven very much. Thank you both so much for all these shared moments.

23/05/2026: I always come back; it's great for us. I love the atmosphere, no frills or fuss. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is grilled cuttlefish, but that's a very small detail because everything else is delicious. The pizza is excellent, generously topped, the homemade fries are perfectly portioned, and the meat is good. It's an ideal place to have a good time, whether with family or as a couple, and it's great that they accept dogs. Definitely worth doing, or seeing, and going back again.

10/05/2026: My wife and I have been customers for years, and we often enjoy spending time at this restaurant, especially with the new owners who are incredibly attentive to their customers. They stand out from other Asian restaurants because of their professionalism. The owner is a very kind and always very elegant woman. Always checking to make sure everything is alright, she and her team serve you very generous and very fresh dishes. A truly delightful team that genuinely cares about your well-being. The service is very clean and professional. Having lived in Nîmes all our lives, being a former restaurant owner, and knowing all the Asian restaurants in the area, we can tell you that LES TROIS BONHEURS is the best Asian restaurant in Nîmes in terms of value for money. The manager is simply wonderful and incredibly attentive, even when it's busy. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The value for money is unbeatable, especially considering the fresh ingredients. Looking forward to returning.

20/04/2026: Just passing through for the day, we had lunch there. The meal featured fresh, very well-prepared ingredients, and the service was excellent. I've been coming to Le Grau-du-Roi for over 20 years and have always been disappointed by the restaurants; we'll gladly return.

11/05/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at this well-maintained, historic hotel, ideally located within the city walls, where we received a warm welcome. Our room was functional and quiet, overlooking the patio. The breakfast was excellent, offering both sweet and savory options, fresh orange juice, and high-quality pastries and bread. Free parking and luggage storage were available. Highly recommended.

02/06/2026: We ordered two "Neapolitana" pizzas. The ingredients matched the menu, but everything tasted very salty, so we left half of the pizzas. I've eaten a lot of pizzas over the last 50 years, but this one was definitely too salty (probably due to way too many anchovies). Since the restaurant has been around since 1975 and was quite busy even on a weekday, I assume we were just unlucky. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is friendly. We'll probably try again and order something more local.

16/05/2026: Spontaneous lunch visit to this trattoria in Uzès. Despite the crowds, we were warmly welcomed and a table was quickly cleared. We chose the homemade croquettes and a different pasta each. Everything tasted delicious!

15/05/2026: Delicious pasta and fantastic tiramisu, friendly young staff, and excellent value for money. If I were a local, this would be my regular spot.

01/06/2026: A good and generous lunch menu in an air-conditioned dining room. The new chairs are very comfortable. The included wine is surprisingly good, and the included desserts are made on-site, except for the ice cream, which is also really good. A very good experience for the price of a single course in many other restaurants. The view of the Gardon river and the bridge is superb.
