26/01/2026: So, for lunch today it was mussels and fries and well it was bland, something was missing, and lots of empty shells so overcooked, and of course they were not homemade fries, what a shame.

11/12/2025: Passing through the area, we decided to stop there. At first glance, the establishment seemed welcoming. Imagine my surprise when, during the meal, the owner's inappropriate remarks multiplied. Unparalleled rudeness punctuated our meal, along with a constant background noise that prevented us from hearing or understanding each other, even though we were seated at the same table!

28/09/2025: We stopped at this restaurant on a weekday in mid-September, around noon. The room was completely empty. My 87-year-old uncle urgently needed to use the restroom. I politely asked the owner for permission, explaining the situation. Instead of showing understanding toward an elderly person, I was repeatedly asked if we planned to eat there, and was finally told that the restroom "didn't work." This reaction deeply hurt me and was humiliating for my uncle. A restaurant is not just a place where food is served; it is also a space of welcome, respect, and human warmth. Denying such service to an elderly person in difficulty, in an establishment empty of customers, leaves a very negative impression. I sincerely hope the owner will reflect on the true meaning of the word "hospitality" and the importance of remaining human in such circumstances.

31/12/2025: What a disappointment! Since the change of ownership, the Swiss bar in Algiers is a mere shadow of its former self… gone is the legendary mint tea, gone are the charcuterie and cheese platters… It's become just another bar; the unique features that made it special have vanished!

26/02/2026: Terrible service Despite having a seven-month-old baby and a three-year-old with us, they refused to seat us. The response from the person who greeted us: "The restaurant opens in 13 minutes." I simply asked to be seated while we waited the 13 minutes before ordering. We didn't eat there because I didn't want to receive the same level of service as the reception we were given.

07/12/2024: We were on a road trip and stopped to La Bourse located on the town central car park. This can be an advantage to keep an eye on your car and goods inside. The food quality was correct. The place is nice and clean. However, we never got served for the entire meal we ordered for, but paid for it as it was a course formula. Unfortunately, the 2 attendants were not numerous enough to serve everyone they accepted in the room. We spent two hours awaiting for the rest of our meals and decided to leave. The attendant apologized and showed poor respect for the manager/owner of the place who does not really care for the good operation of the restaurant and the business ethics. I strongly recommend to avoid La Bourse restaurant.

18/12/2025: I was extremely disappointed by the 22% increase in my premium this year. Furthermore, I found the staff in St. Ambroix (Gard) and the branch manager, Mr. Heddebaut, in Alès (Gard), to be incompetent in handling my case. Having been insured for 45 years without any claims of my own, this is truly a lack of consideration. Needless to say, I have cancelled all my policies. I do not recommend this MMA insurance. Following your response: During our phone conversation in Alès, you indicated that this increase (which I consider arbitrary) was legal and that there was nothing you could do. In St. Ambroix, I was even told that I could cancel my policies at any time, referring to the Hamon Law, which I did, and I transferred my policies to AXA, saving €194 for better coverage. Shop around.
