The food was exceptional, the presentation sublime with beautiful floral touches, and my new tables were also stunning. The waiter was incredibly kind. The complimentary cocktail and glass of wine were much appreciated. Our taste buds were delighted by flavors that were sometimes unexpected but always delicious. We will definitely be back and will recommend you. Thank you for this special moment in our family life. We don't get many, but this was truly exceptional.

07/02/2026: La Table de Marine was a truly wonderful discovery. From the moment we arrived, Chef Patrick Xavier charmed us with his kindness and warmth. We immediately felt completely at ease, confident that everything would be perfect. Present, attentive, and always engaging, he created a close connection that my wife and I particularly appreciated. The setting is an integral part of the experience: an old stone house with magnificent vaulted ceilings, decorated with understated elegance. The wines and spirits blend seamlessly into this atmosphere, a promise fulfilled—one comes not only to savor the food, but also to pair it with carefully selected, delicate beverages. On the plate, this promise is more than fulfilled. The foie gras terrine, enhanced by its pickles, is simply divine. The pink pork pluma, served with its jus reduction and mushrooms, is remarkably precise. As for the chocolate and pear "mousse"—which far surpasses the idea of ​​a simple mousse—it's superb… and yet, I'm not usually a dessert person. In short, an almost improbable find in terms of quality and authenticity. What a shame we live so far away—otherwise, it would undoubtedly become a must-visit for us. All the best to Chef Xavier, and thank you for this wonderful experience.

When I called to report it, they offered no compensation, just told me to come back (not everyone who orders takeaway lives nearby). I won't be returning.

10/05/2026: Passing through Nîmes for the weekend, we discovered this restaurant right across from the Roman arena. It was a very good experience. The setting is lovely, the welcome was warm, and the owner, a highly experienced sommelier, personally came to greet us at our table. The service was very good, and the food was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at a perfectly reasonable price. I happily recommend this establishment.

03/06/2026: What a disappointment. Based on the reviews and the pricing, we thought we would finally get a truly delicious and refined meal. Things went wrong right from the start with the Kir Royale, where the bubbles had likely escaped from the bottle the day before. Then came the unimaginative carpaccio and a tuna tartare with chunks of dark raw tuna still skin-on. The meat was coarse and served bare, with overcooked baby potatoes and nothing else. The fish lay on carrot purée, alongside two overcooked carrots and some reheated, crumpled haricots verts. We asked for a matching wine, but the wait staff, who were friendly in themselves, knew nothing about wine despite years of experience. When we were served a glass of the ‘best’ red wine, it was colder than the Kir Royale. All in all, it was certainly not a culinary feast. So we decided not to order dessert.

04/07/2026: A truly delightful experience! Everything was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. The restaurant is magnificent, tastefully decorated, with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Ideally located directly opposite the Arena, the view further enhances the enjoyment of the experience. The welcome was impeccable, and the entire team was remarkably kind. The service was attentive, quick, and perfectly paced, without ever being rushed. The cuisine was a true triumph. I enjoyed a terrine as a starter, a pig's trotter as a main course, and then a delicious chestnut vacherin for dessert. Each dish was generous, perfectly executed, and made with high-quality ingredients. I also greatly appreciated the comfort of the dining room: the tables are spaced far enough apart to allow for private conversations, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the premises, including the restrooms, are impeccably maintained. Finally, the value for money is simply exceptional considering the quality of the food, the service, and the setting. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return on my next visit to Nîmes.
