12/02/2026: Once a benchmark in the industry, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. Today, here is my informed opinion after two recent visits. The ingredients are of poor quality, and the preparation is equally subpar. And what about the 40-minute wait for the daily special? We won't be returning, which is a real shame. Tourists will get a very bad impression of the region.

12/02/2026: We came back to try again because we were disappointed last time, but it was another failure and we won't be returning. A 40-minute wait for a burger with a dry, frozen bun and mediocre filling (grilled bacon and bad meat), accompanied by equally frozen fries. Everything was incredibly salty; in short, it was awful. We left as quickly as possible, without dessert or coffee, and extremely frustrated. How could a restaurant that used to serve such good food and impeccable service have declined so drastically?!

09/03/2026: I want to share my experience at this establishment, and unfortunately, it was extremely bad. I went there simply to eat a pizza and have a quiet time, like many customers who frequent this type of restaurant. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary, just a decent meal and basic quality ingredients. Unfortunately, what I experienced next really disappointed and even worried me. At first, everything seemed normal. I ordered a pizza thinking it was a simple and safe choice. However, from the first few bites, I noticed something strange. The taste wasn't very fresh, and some of the ingredients seemed to have an odd texture, almost as if they weren't very fresh. At the time, I tried not to think about it too much. I told myself that maybe it was just my impression or that the recipe was different from what I was used to eating. However, the more I ate, the more I felt that something was wrong. The dough wasn't very good, the ingredients seemed poorly balanced, and some had a strange taste. Despite this, since I was hungry and had already paid, I finished the pizza, telling myself it might just be another bad experience. Unfortunately, the worst happened a few hours later. I started experiencing severe stomach pains. At first, it was just discomfort, but very quickly the pain became much more intense. I had stomach cramps and felt really unwell. The situation worsened to the point that I ended up vomiting. It was a truly unpleasant and quite worrying experience. When you go to a restaurant, you trust that the food is stored properly, that the ingredients are fresh, and that hygiene standards are followed in the kitchen. This is the foundation of the restaurant business. No one expects to get sick after eating a simple pizza. Yet, that's exactly what happened to me after eating at this establishment. This situation really ruined my evening and even my night, as I felt unwell for several hours. It's extremely frustrating to have this kind of experience when all you wanted was to eat something good and have a pleasant time. Instead, I ended up at home feeling sick and regretting having chosen this restaurant. I obviously can't say for sure what happened in the kitchen, but it's clear that something was wrong. Perhaps some ingredients weren't fresh enough, perhaps they were improperly stored, or perhaps there was a hygiene issue. Whatever the reason, this kind of situation should never happen in a restaurant that serves customers. I sincerely hope that this feedback will be taken seriously by management. It's important to check the quality of products, expiration dates, and hygiene conditions in the kitchen. Customer health should always be a top priority. For me, this experience was so bad that I won't be returning to this establishment. Getting sick after a meal at a restaurant is completely unacceptable. I want to warn other customers so they can be careful, and I sincerely hope the restaurant will make the necessary changes to prevent others from experiencing the same thing. A very bad experience, and unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

11/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! The food is very greasy and tasteless. While there is an all-you-can-eat buffet, once you taste the dishes, you won't go back. There were two of us, and we were sick as soon as we left the restaurant. There are definitely better Chinese restaurants in Nîmes.

05/03/2026: An absolute delight! I was able to enjoy a mullet ceviche, specially requested when I made the reservation. It was very generous, cut like sashimi in Tokyo or other Japanese cities, and seasoned divinely. The monkfish stew that followed was just as good as the starter. If it weren't so far away, I'd make it my go-to spot for food lovers! 😂😂😂 Keep up the good work, well done, and thank you!

21/02/2026: This is our second visit, but it will be our last. The service was mediocre, and the mussels "à la brazucade" were a joke (frozen and tasteless, the same for the squid with chorizo). The €32 menu was barely worth €20. What you're really paying for is being served by the canal. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

11/11/2025: Opposite the Nîmes theater, you can enjoy a relaxed drink with friends without any fuss. It's particularly cool in the summer, and the terrace is open almost year-round. The owner is always very friendly.

01/07/2025: Great for the evening!!! However, avoid it for morning coffee; the serene is as unpleasant as can be.

28/06/2025: The bartender was nice but the server was horrible, he spoke badly and pushed you to get through, so you did your best to be stuck at the bar, knowing that there were very few people. I had a simple lemonade, it wasn't even fizzy (check your PETs maybe?). I was just passing through, so I wouldn't recommend it. Have a nice day :).

23/03/2026: When I see the state of the tables and the floor, I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen is like. I couldn't even finish my donut because it was so dirty and still frozen.

22/02/2026: A wonderful discovery during a stroll in Uzès! This Italian restaurant offers high-quality ingredients in generous and delicious portions. The terrace is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend it.

10/02/2026: The dishes are varied and plentiful, but the pasta with scallops sold at €25.50 is a bit expensive for 4 scallops lost in the middle of rather bland tagliatelle!

12/03/2026: A truly timeless stay, attentive staff, and excellent cuisine. The hotel is well-located for exploring the region. A great place to remember.
