27/08/2024: For me one of the must-see places in Alès, the prices are very good, you eat quality food there and the team is really at the top, for Alesians and tourists alike an address to visit at all costs you will not be disappointed

24/08/2024: Venus en début de soirée sur réservation pour 6 personnes. L’accueil a été irréprochable et la prise en charge efficace. La suite est un peu moins top. Prise en charge rapide et expéditive entre la prise de commande apéritif et plat qui malheureusement est servi déjà tiède, voire déjà froid. Concernant le vin, nous avons simplement le droit de nous rendre dans la cave et choisir sans explication ni recommandations avec un choix très limité sur le rosé. C’est bien dommage.

11/11/2024: Very warm welcome, good food, nice and well heated room. Very good value for money The only downside was the breakfast served until 9am, much too early, 10am would have been perfect.

14/10/2024: Pleasant night spent as part of the Stevenson path. The room is comfortable and functional. The half board is quality; the dinner was very good (fish which is rare on the path!) and the breakfast was practical because it was also available before time in the form of a tray in the room (this allows the autonomy of hikers depending on their their departure time to reach Alès). The welcome is friendly and smiling. The hostel is a little outside the city (and the GR).

18/11/2024: A pizzeria where you can enjoy yourself!! The service was also top notch! They have very good pizzas and very drinks from a brasserie in Lozère! I recommend!

02/11/2024: To avoid. Charming terrace certainly, it makes you want to when you pass this restaurant but frankly.... It's not worth it. Huge wait!! Completely disorganized service, bad pizza. I really hope that we won't get sick given the previous comments but I wouldn't even be surprised given the quality of the dishes served. Clearly, we will not return.

26/10/2025: Disappointed with our visit. We came for the daily special, which was mussels and fries, as shown on the sign outside. The welcome was decent, but the service was complicated for the waiters. When we ordered (12:15 p.m.), the waiter informed us that they were out of mussels. Too bad, we'll order something else, it's not a big deal. What disappointed us is that it was the waiter's mistake, because everyone who arrived after us until 1 p.m. was able to get their mussels and fries. We even heard a waitress say to the customers at the table next to us, "There are no more mussels, but I'll find some for you." When it came time for the bill, I told the owner, who, apart from telling me it was weird, did nothing. No apology, no goodwill gesture.

04/12/2024: The Alès bakery! The bread, pastries and pastries are excellent. The only thing missing is the Viking bread.

24/11/2024: More and more disappointed with your bakery... Pastries often overcooked and dry This Sunday an inedible frozen cake, while spending 26 euros for 6 people.... It's a shame at that price, and I got a response over the phone ''it's the fridge's fault'' 👏

03/09/2024: Pour complètement sincère, la cuisine était très bonne et le cadre est agréable, d’où le 4/5. Après, je soulignerais quand même que le rapport qualité/prix reste un peu élevé malgré tout. Autre information à noter : le restaurant ne prend pas la carte bleu (un distributeur n’est pas loin mais bon…).

01/09/2024: L’endroit est joli très bien placé au bord de l’eau, attrayant. Le restaurant était à moitié vide car il était déjà 20:30. On nous donne une table côté rue, alors qu’il y a de la place côté rivière, mais on nous dit que tout est réservé. Quand une table se libère 5 minutes après, on nous prévient qu’il va nous falloir attendre. Nous allons rester 20 min sans qu’on ne apporte ni les menus ou qu’on nous prenne la commande des boissons. Une fois installés, quand on nous apporte les menus, on nous informe qu’il n’y a plus que les boissons sur la carte, le « vrai » menu nous arrive sur ardoise. Il n’y a que des pâtes!!! et le moindre plat est à 26 euros, oui vous m’avez bien lue, 26 euros le plat de pâtes. Arnaque ? Meme sur la plage à St Tropez dans un resto en vue, les prix étaient plus abordables et la nourriture meilleure… Ce lieu est clairement un « piège à touristes » ils se croient à Venise !!!

08/07/2025: It's a bit of a shame to be a bakery and not have bread. I've been here several times at 6 p.m. and no more baguettes after that. Maybe it's a new concept.

28/09/2024: Camping in a very pleasant, well shaded environment. Very good service at the bar. Large and clean swimming pool. Only a little expensive at night: €50 for a campervan for two adults and two children, especially for the beginning of September.

18/09/2024: I do not recommend this campsite in September... Closed swimming pool (we are offered to open it on request but not very inviting with the dead leaves on the shutter), sanitary facilities not very clean (some showers with lukewarm water), masseuse who responds to our request after our departure, river with beach returned by wild boars...

24/09/2024: Very nice setting, we stopped there to have a little oyster/shrimp aperitif The oysters were excellent unfortunately the shrimp were very difficult to shell as if they had been frozen before.

24/09/2024: The ambience at the place under the trees is perfect! The food and service leave a lot to be desired. We didn't consume much, but if I order a crepe, it MUST be freshly made. It was cold and carelessly thrown onto the plate. My recommendation is clear, just drink something here and don't eat anything!

06/01/2025: First time and last. . . Received the aperitif after having received the dishes... the hamburger had the bread charred... the fries salty like never before... which I don't understand at all because we don't salt a customer's fries... pay for that... pfff

06/01/2025: Yesterday we had a service to deplore, we had the plates of having our aperitifs, fries too salty, meat not cooked enough, full of nerves!!! 100€ for 4 people it's shameful to eat food that I won't even give to my dog

04/12/2025: Mr. Sergio and his wife are super friendly, we go there very often. The pizzas are excellent, we love them. We recommend it 100%!

20/11/2025: Hello, The person on the phone wasn't very friendly. The pizza wasn't cooked, there were few ingredients, and the crust was extremely thin. The price didn't match the quality of the pizza. I definitely don't recommend it. It was my first time there, and I'm not likely to go back.
