02/05/2026: We had a reservation for a table of nine. We called, and what I found quite strange was that our reservation wasn't for until 9:15 or 9:30 PM. We arrived around 9:15 or 9:20 PM and saw the restaurant full, but our table of nine wasn't set. We quickly realized that our table hadn't been prepared at all. So we decided to consider takeout. We asked for the menu, to which the waiter replied, "Well, just here." From the moment we had an unpleasant waiter with a haughty manner, who also dared to lie to us by saying there might be a table in 10 minutes—which is highly unlikely since the tables were full—I don't think customers come to a restaurant to eat in 20 minutes, especially in the evening! I can only say that this place is disorganized in terms of reservations. I can state this clearly because I've worked in restaurants where we've never encountered such poor organization. To perhaps teach you something, reservations take priority over walk-ins. We deliberately made a reservation to ensure you could prepare our table and avoid any surprises. Yet, in the end, we were very disappointed by the waiter's behavior. We waited from 7 pm to 9 pm, only to be very disappointed and not even served. Do you think it's possible to call a restaurant at 9:30 pm for nine people? No, I don't think so. Therefore, we are not grateful for the evening you ruined for us. What would have been better for both of us is if, when we called to make our reservation, you had politely told us it wasn't possible, that we were already fully booked, and that we couldn't risk blocking a table of nine from 7 pm to 9 pm, while apologizing. Everything would have gone smoothly. Therefore, we decided not to order, given the anticipated wait and the potential delay that could affect other customers. We left immediately without giving any further explanation, as we felt we didn't have to justify our dissatisfaction. Obviously, seeing nine people leave is disheartening, as you lose customers and money. I do not recommend this place.

01/05/2026: We had a reservation for 9 people. On the phone, they told us 9:15 PM to 9:30 PM. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was full, and we quickly realized that our reservation had not been honored. The waiter was completely unprofessional and had a very haughty manner of speaking. He even had the nerve to tell us, "I told you between 9:15 PM and 9:30 PM," knowing full well that everyone at the tables was already eating. On top of that, they had the nerve to mock us, implying that people would finish their meals, desserts, and hot drinks in 15 minutes. It's a disgrace! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

23/11/2025: I've never eaten such disgusting pasta in Sicily. "Al ragù" pasta with no meat, no sauce, just the cooking water, perfect for mixing, charged at €19. Truffle pasta, overcooked but perfectly crisp, €23! Small portion, different depending on the customer. Avoid at all costs!!!

15/11/2025: A must-try in Uzès 🫶. Everything is excellent, the dishes are beautiful and delicious, and the welcome is warm. We tried the Sicilian fondue, and we loved it!! I highly recommend it.

17/08/2026: A delightful discovery, a chance encounter while traveling. We enjoyed a meal on the terrace. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

20/08/2026: A cruise definitely worth taking. We appreciated the explanations given by our hostess Lolita on the boat and the demonstration of bull sorting by the herdsmen of Mas de la Comtesse during the visit to the ranch. An excellent experience.

18/08/2026: Unfortunately, I found the website somewhat misleading. The 2-hour tour shows a picture of a covered boat, leading us to believe we'd be on that one. However, the tour actually uses an open-sided boat. The covered boat is only available for the tour that includes a meal. The trip itself is quite nice, but given the consistent scenery, the shorter 1.5-hour tour is probably perfectly sufficient. On board, drinks can only be purchased with cash. The commentary is only in French, but there are handouts with translations in various languages. The visit to the Manade was quite interesting, but again, there was no translation. At least you can pay by card at the kiosk there.

30/06/2026: The dish of the day, duck legs with potatoes, was very disappointing—bland and greasy. It smelled like overcooked frozen food! The clafoutis was quite ordinary and rather bland.

31/07/2026: I waited over 20 minutes for a takeaway order that only included one meal. On top of that, my ice cream arrived completely melted before I even got to my car. The worst part?! They messed up my burger. I ordered a chicken burger because I don't eat beef, and I ended up at home with a beef burger. What am I supposed to do now? I paid €15 for a meal I can't even eat.

30/07/2026: Drinks spilled on the trays, not much fries or sauce, but the prices are somewhat reasonable. They don't put ice cubes in the drinks, the ice cubes aren't filled, they're tiny, they don't make any effort.

30/06/2026: When you book for 1 p.m. and the appetizer buffet isn't cleared until 1:30 p.m. When the entire table hasn't finished their meal. Don't even start clearing the plates. At the end, they bring us the bill without anyone asking if we want coffee. Perhaps you should consider updating your air conditioning, even if it's 37 years old.

25/07/2026: A varied menu including several vegetarian options, quick and attentive service, and a chef who goes out of his way to please made for a very pleasant evening in this small, shaded square, soothed by the gentle sound of the nearby fountain. I highly recommend it.

25/06/2026: Conveniently located on Boulevard Jean Jaurès, Café Pantel is something of an institution. Always lively, it's a popular spot for people to gather around a beer or a coffee, chatting about football or bullfighting. The food is simple and good. Friendly service.
