29/12/2025: Restaurant with a superb atmosphere, a very warm welcome and excellent service – a great find. Bonjour du Lemasson Mtp.

10/11/2025: Total disappointment! We came back without realizing that La Saladelle had probably changed owners—what a disaster! Where did the fireplace and wood-fired oven go? -Long wait even though there were only about fifteen of us -Ordered rare and medium-rare rib-eye steaks, but they were overcooked on the plate, one wasn't even pink -Bad fries, like cardboard -Limited wine selection, only the most expensive bottles still in stock -There were three of us, and we ordered three ice cream sundaes. They arrived one after the other, so the last person got theirs while the first person had already finished theirs -No more water, you have to ask for it -Music (speaker) too loud -And of course, cash payment because the credit card machine was broken!! lol In short, you can't just wing it in the restaurant business. We miss the old team, and we won't be back!

04/02/2026: Very disappointed. €2 for a small tray of fries, and while they were okay, they were undercooked and soggy. Anyway, the kebab was so-so. The bread was very thin; I don't know where it came from, it's definitely not kebab bread. €8, so €10 for a meal, not including a drink. Very disappointing. Years ago, this was the best in Nîmes!

31/01/2026: Extremely expensive kebab, €8 for just the kebab without fries and with very little meat. I won't be going back.

25/02/2026: Avoid this place! Endless wait... no professionalism whatsoever... very disappointed with the service... on the first weekend of good weather, they are overwhelmed and don't have the products they offer in stock... change professions!

02/04/2026: Neighborhood restaurant. Homemade food every day of the week. Thanks to Gilles (the chef) and Salomé (the waitress) for providing such a delicious and attentive meal. Lunch special (starter, main course, dessert) for under €17—who can beat that?

24/03/2026: The Black waiter was very unpleasant; he thought he was charming, what a jerk he was, and he was very pushy. A truly unpleasant experience! Avoid him.

22/03/2026: Avoid this bar at all costs. The clientele is appalling. I hadn't even finished parking before my wife was accosted by three men saying things like, "Hey, ma'am, you're hot, come here, I'm telling you, answer me!" Then one of them got up and went straight for her, putting his hand on her... How disgusting. If you want to sit down and have a quiet drink, this isn't the place to go. I'd like to thank the waiter who had the courage to intervene even before I arrived. Thank you, sir!

08/04/2026: It's a shame to serve crepes at that price knowing they're not homemade... but industrially produced and already too sweet.

06/04/2026: We ate well and it was all you can eat. It's certainly hearty, but I'm surprised by some of the comments: yes, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet at a low price, so if you're looking for fine dining, this isn't the place. However, if you're hungry and don't want any fuss, it's the right place.

04/04/2026: Sorry, but not a good review. No choice, and the food wasn't good. The women's toilets are dangerous. However, the place itself is nice and clean, and the service was fine.

24/04/2026: Musty taste on the pastries, almond croissants, raisin bread...

16/04/2026: The staff were friendly, but we bought several pastries and what can I say… €20 of disappointment 😞! Especially the Tropezienne tart: the base was soggy and the top was hard… and the others weren't any better… I'm not sure they were all fresh that day, unfortunately! We wanted to try something different from our usual pastry shop, but we won't be going back.

22/04/2026: We were early for the train station and decided to grab a coffee. We'd barely walked in when the smell of urine clung to us until we left. 🤢🤢🤢

20/04/2026: We waited 10 minutes at the drive-thru only to be told we had nothing, then it was impossible to leave because our car was blocked everywhere due to the wait time. In the end, we waited 35 minutes for nothing. The staff was unpleasant.

12/04/2026: The hotel/restaurant website is completely misleading. The shower tray and curtain are shabby. The bedding and bedspread are ancient. There's no soundproofing whatsoever, especially around the toilet and doors. There's no ventilation or air conditioning, and mold is growing on the windows. It's not even worth €50 a night. The restaurant is a disaster; we waited an hour and a half for a starter. And that's not even counting the rest... Avoid at all costs!!!

02/02/2026: We only visited this restaurant, and we'd advise against it! My prawns were full of sand, and my partner wanted rare, but they arrived well-done! Plus, they were unavailable on the menu Saturday night! There was no heating; I ate in my down jacket! For a supposedly "upscale" restaurant, the meal was very mediocre, and the place was freezing cold despite the central fireplace. This will be my last experience at this restaurant!

21/03/2026: Unfriendly person called at 7:15 PM to order 6 pizzas, told me 8:50 PM, but I finally picked up my pizzas at 9:30 PM when no one was home. This gentleman should find another line of work.

13/03/2026: I had my doubts after reading some of the reviews. What a pleasant surprise! I chose the Carnivore, and it was delicious—a pizza loaded with toppings and with a high-quality crust. A true Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. In short, a real treat!

22/04/2026: Excellent welcome and service from the staff. Very professional. Quiet location, very well connected to the center of Nîmes by bus. Supermarket nearby and a good pizzeria right across the street. The facilities and breakfast were very good. A place to return to.

18/04/2026: Very difficult to find. Far from the station. There was no WIFI in the room and a lack of outlets in the common area. The bed was small, yet comfortable. There was a cubby hole by the bed to store things, and a huge locker. I appreciate the assistance in locating the bus stop (The bus never came. Had to take a train.) in trying to move on.

17/05/2026: Disappointed by the meal. A simple ramekin containing a lettuce leaf cut into 10 pieces, a slice of tomato, and half a slice of cucumber cost €2.50. Furthermore, when I asked for bread, the waiter took bread from the next table – completely unprofessional. Avoid!

16/05/2026: Large table for 9 people… we weren't even greeted… There was a mistake with our order, and we were simply told, "Too late, it's already been charged" (so we ended up with an extra glass of wine!). The waitress was so shy we couldn't even hear her speak… she spilled a glass of water on the table, uttered a quick "oops," and that was it 😂 Given the prices, we thought we were in a hidden camera prank. We come here regularly and recommend the restaurants next door!
