04/02/2026: I'm changing my opinion after checking with Elephant 1 in Nîmes; Elephant 2 in Marguerites is open by appointment for groups.
FYI, Elephant 1 in Nîmes is great! 👍

16/03/2026: An excellent meal, plenty of à la carte options, and very reasonably priced menus. A real restaurant, not a large buffet like you see more and more these days. If I may make a suggestion, some Asian background music to set the mood would be greatly appreciated.

The crêpes were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and my 8-year-old son devoured them, even though he'd never wanted to hear about them again because they were always too dry at other places. "The secret is in the butter," as the waiter told us. Unbeatable value for money!
20/04/2026: Pleasant place. Efficient and friendly waiter. Very good galettes with generous fillings.
However, the owner is about as welcoming as a prison guard. Not a smile and practically mute.
A real shame…!!!!!
It makes me neither want to return nor recommend this place.

21/05/2026: Stay from May 15th: The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The room and meals were excellent. A beautiful place with a superb pool and terrace. Thank you.
17/05/2026: Hotel without an elevator. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We are elderly and have some physical limitations.
The room was cramped, and we were traveling with our grandson. The bathroom was also small.
The parking was very good.

Too few employees (one or two at most) around 1 p.m., so too many people were waiting for food!
I had to go to another Marie Blachère to get served more quickly for my meal.

07/05/2026: Absolutely terrible! No choice of savory options even though it's 1 p.m. No restrooms, which is a real problem for someone who travels a long way. I end up ordering something sweet, and then I see the green fly doing its job on the pastries... Enough is enough, next!
