23/08/2024: Being a hostel, it is quite good value for money, everything was clean, the only thing is the sliding door to the garden makes a lot of noise, otherwise very good, there is a kitchen where you have all the utensils, refrigerator, reading room. Green space. The rich and abundant breakfast. It is to return.

09/10/2024: Very disappointed, not served on the terrace, once inside the bar we finally ordered we were given the drinks still closed and the glasses in hand no one moved!
it's very average for a bar.. we won't come back again!

16/06/2024: Viande pleine de gras, nerfs et tendons, Frites molles trop cuite et huileuses, déssert, nougat qui n'a que le nom et tiramisu aussi.
ne vaut pas le prix payé.

01/09/2024: We asked a question to one of the cashiers who was not friendly after telling her please we are customers she answered us, I am not a cashier I am a producer she handed over the product we wanted buy on the shelf behind her without anyone being able to buy it.

We had dinner for 6 people for a total of €130, but the welcome and the service were simply unpleasant. The bosses, both the wife and the husband, gave the impression of not liking their work. A small error on the amount to be paid on my part was very misinterpreted, which led to a disproportionate reaction from them.
In addition, they do not take the Ticket Restaurant card, which is very impractical and surprising these days. Result: they lost 6 customers. I do not recommend this establishment, where the lack of professionalism totally ruins the experience.

06/12/2024: Incroyable!!! Quand la patronne vous juge parce que vous prenez "trop" de crevette dans une assiette. Et ensuite elle vous suit jusqu’au buffet pour voir ce que vous allez vous resservir pour vous engueuler par la suite.
Ça ne m’était jamais arrivé.
Prise de tête au buffet parce qu’elle me suit et décide de m’engueuler devant tout le monde parce qu’il faut que je mange de tout.
Restaurant et "Patronne" à fuir d’URGENCE.

03/12/2024: I've looked at this little restaurant a few times and thought that I should give it a try. The weather allowed us to sit outside; the seating inside was limited. The table and chairs were basic and uncomfortable for a long, lingering lunch. The service was friendly and the meal arrived promptly.
I say it arrived promptly but .... we ordered a Tagine/Tajine and a Pastilla but we were told that the Pastilla would take 1 hour to cook. So we ordered one Tagine and thought that if it was OK we would order another.
The Tagine did arrive, it was fresh, hot but lacked the depth of flavour you would expect. We ordered the lamb and the amount of meat was reasonable. Overall the dish was acceptable without being outstanding. A stew rather than a tagine. Something that didn't have any of the flavours that many people would put into their tagines. Typically ras-el-hanout or a house blend of cayenne pepper, paprika, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon etc.
Needless to say, we decided not to order another dish. the glass of wine was larger than other places in town but the red was cold, very cold.
When we went to pay, we were charged 2€ extra for eating on the premises. This was despite the fact that the menu gave 1 price for "sur le place" and another for taking away. So yes, they charged the eating price plus 2€.
If you would like a tagine in Uzès, do not try here. Maybe wait until Le Provencal put one on their plat du jour
