20/08/2025: In line with the negative reviews A bar and restaurant run by completely incompetent managers Mediocre pizza, disgusting coffee Frozen pastries, low-quality products Toilet not working for 4 years In a deplorable state Owner at the campsite for 8 years It's a disaster on every level Lack of drinks in the middle of the season, incompetent boss and son who do nothing all day Except watch the flies flying The poor waiters who are taking it all on because they can't do everything on their own. I could go on and on, their amateurism is so blatant A career change in another field would be advisable because the image of the restaurant industry is taking another hit A passing tourist trap

14/08/2025: Dirty place, where the waiter only gives water (without anyone ordering anything) to the girls. Zero service (and on top of that, he was rude).

18/07/2026: We arrived at 9 am after a 10-hour drive to our holiday destination. The egg machine was broken, so no breakfast burgers. For the donuts, the kids chose sugar and chocolate, but we had to order only the sugar ones (after pre-ordering) because the chocolate ones weren't thawed.

17/07/2026: A disgrace!! €5 for an ice cream that's less generously filled than a plain sundae. And the staff can't do anything about it... Avoid at all costs!

08/08/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. We ordered pizzas and pesto pasta, which was presented as fresh pasta. Honestly, I've rarely been so disappointed. The pasta was very dry, and the pesto was simply disastrous. If you're going to serve tasteless, industrial pesto, you might as well make it yourself at home… We really felt like we were eating a pre-made product. Regarding the pizzas, we were clearly told that the dough wasn't homemade, which is perfectly understandable. But to end up with what clearly looked like a frozen pizza on our plate? No, thank you. That's not what you expect when you go to a restaurant. And what about the service… One person with chewing gum in their mouth, a nonchalant attitude, and no real interest in the customers. We weren't even asked if we enjoyed the meal or if everything was alright. Clearly, whether we liked what was on our plates or not was irrelevant. After seeing the 1.7 rating on Google, I quickly realized we'd unfortunately had bad luck. This experience sadly confirms its very poor reputation. I do not recommend it, especially considering the price-to-quality ratio.

08/08/2026: A very poor experience. We should have checked the reviews before going. On the positive side: the atmosphere of the place is pleasant, and the young waiters and waitresses are very friendly! I thought the bull stew was very good. Now for the negative side: the other dishes were not good. The ribeye steak was rubbery and tasteless; the Roquefort sauce tasted like melted Babybel cheese. The fries were tasteless and far too greasy. The Caesar salad was bland. One of the older waitresses was frankly unpleasant. This restaurant is best avoided.

18/08/2026: The service was appalling: every question to the waitress was met with a grimace. And to top it all off, three cold, frankly inedible crepes that tasted like they'd been made several days earlier. A deplorable experience for the whole family. We will never set foot in this place again and we strongly advise against going there.

14/07/2026: What can I say? We ordered two Cokes, and the waiter brought us two already opened Coke Zeros, which is against the rules (they're supposed to be opened in front of us). Then we were told the bar was closing soon, so we tried to finish our drinks quickly. Not even 30 seconds later, he came back and said, "That'll be 27 euros." We went to pay, I paid, and realized the bill was incredibly high. I told the waiter, and he started telling me that carafes of tap water were being charged at 1 euro each, which is illegal because tap water is free. I pointed out that it was against the rules, and he told his colleague, "Give him back his 4 euros," referring to the difference he was missing. It wasn't 4 euros, but he tried to rip us off without admitting he was wrong, and if he does this to all the customers, it'll add up to a good amount! Please double-check your bill before paying, beware!

16/08/2026: An hour's wait, only 3 out of 4 dishes served… kitchen nightmare, help!

09/08/2026: We went inside and asked the servers if it was ok to sit at a table for two, they said to seat ourselves and gave us a menu. We sat for 20 minutes and nobody ever came by. The waitress went to almost every other table outside but never came over to us. The menu looks great, I would have loved to try the food, but 20 minutes is too long to not even say hello. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind the feeling of being ignored than by all means eat here.

02/05/2026: A terrible experience. Avoid at all costs. Lack of hygiene. The bathroom had filthy faucets, and the toilet seat was broken. The noisy air conditioning didn't cool the room. The manager was unresponsive. We wanted to use the pool, but unfortunately, it was cold. The pool loungers were piled up and dirty. One wonders why they were given 3 stars. Strongly discouraged.

04/06/2026: Hotel located on a very busy road, so there's a lot of noise until 1 a.m. and again from 5 a.m. onwards. The room was run-down and didn't match the renovated photos on the website. Dinner was passable (pizza not recommended). Cleanliness was minimal, barely acceptable. Conclusion: Avoid

27/05/2026: Comfortable and well-equipped room. Well laid out, so a bit noisy in the mornings on weekdays. Although a bit dated, it meets the standards of this category. Book directly. Booking sites take a large commission...

22/08/2026: The welcome was pleasant, especially from the very friendly young waitress. However, the food was very mediocre and the portions extremely small. The mussels with Roquefort were simply boiled mussels with a tiny amount of sauce on the surface. This "restaurant" is a tourist trap. We were very disappointed; it was a waste of money.

22/08/2026: Hello, while passing through Grau-du-Roi, we stopped at the restaurant Le France. The welcome was friendly, especially the servers who were excellent, but as for the food, turn right around. The bread was stale, clearly from lunchtime, so you can imagine the texture. Then the Caesar salad was a disaster for the price; I've never seen a Caesar salad like that, honestly. Just two or three pieces of lettuce, tomato, and goat cheese—you can tell it's the cheapest stuff—served on half a poorly toasted slice of white bread when it's supposed to be on a piece of toast. I do not recommend this restaurant; you have been warned, at your own risk.

08/04/2026: Hello, As a loyal customer for over 20 years, I am deeply disappointed and shocked by the reception I received this morning around 11:15 am. The behavior of an employee (a young blonde woman, around 25 years old or older) was particularly unpleasant, cold, and disrespectful. No greeting (and yet saying hello is free), no smile… to the point of remaining completely frozen in front of the customers. An incomprehensible and unacceptable attitude in a business. Even the young man present, who was otherwise very friendly, seemed uncomfortable with the situation, which speaks volumes about the general unease. After so many years of loyalty, I find this unacceptable. This type of reception gives a very bad impression of the establishment and makes me absolutely not want to return. It's really time to remind everyone of the basics of respect and professionalism.

31/07/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered three kebabs and they prepared taco kebabs for me, insisting that's what I ordered. Thanks for the bad faith. Aside from fries and salad, there was practically no meat. I've been going to Izmir for many years; I drive 45 km round trip for their kebabs and have never had a problem when they prepare them.

27/07/2026: My very first and only order was extremely disappointing! The kebab was too dry with too little filling, and the same went for the children's menu. All this for a very high price for what you get, especially in a city that's otherwise very competitive in this type of restaurant. I regret having tried it. Best of luck.

21/08/2026: I wonder how this bar is still open. The two waiters grab the glasses from the top to give them to you—absolutely no hygiene! The mint soda costs €3.50 and barely contains any syrup, even after asking for more (the photo proves the taste). The lemonade, served in a bottle, is practically flat. In short, it's a tourist trap where they're making a profit without even trying to hide it. And on top of that, cash is mandatory.

15/08/2026: We arrived as a group of 15 adults, and the waitress found us a table and seated us quickly. We had a great time with fantastic cocktails 👍

23/07/2026: I hadn't seen the reviews before going in (and they were justified). The owner was very unpleasant 🤦‍♂️ bordering on rude. I think that when you go into an establishment to spend money, customer service is part of the job. A vacation is in order, or perhaps a career change, Madam. 05/08/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I arrived at 11:00 AM for lunch. After an interminable wait, even though the McDonald's seemed deserted, I checked my order and pointed out to the manager, Tiffany, that there might have been a mix-up between a hamburger and a double cheeseburger. She replied in a rather disconcerting tone that the packaging was the same, without even checking what I was saying. So I insisted on showing her, and indeed, there was a mistake. I received my double cheeseburger 15 minutes after the rest of my order, which was therefore cold. And not a single apology, not even a "sorry." I understand the other customers' comments better now. Between the filth, the lack of professionalism, and the poor manners, it's time for them to take a hard look at themselves. SHAMEFUL, AVOID MCDONALD'S AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

30/06/2026: The petit déjeuner costs €7.50 and includes one croissant, toasted baguette, butter, jam, orange juice, and a hot drink. The pastries were very good! The juice from a carton was okay, but the jam was fruity. The café au lait and hot chocolate were good! The service was a bit brusque. The café's ambiance is okay.

11/05/2026: Good breakfast at a good price. Nothing exceptional, but not disappointing! The jam was industrial... just like the orange juice, but at €7.50 I expected that.
