11/07/2026: Unfortunately, my family and I weren't able to appreciate the food, especially the dessert, at this establishment. As soon as we walked into the restaurant and asked at the checkout if it was possible to order just dessert instead of a meal and then a dessert, the woman behind the counter, with a very disgruntled expression, told us it was impossible and sent us off to find ice cream, saying, "Go look for ice cream on the embankment. THERE'S SOMETHING YOU CAN DO THERE," as if we'd asked for something impossible. Our mood was immediately dampened. Unfortunately, I'll never understand why they can't just order dessert, especially since it's on the menu. By the time we walked in, everyone had already finished eating, even if it was dessert.

11/07/2026: A place to avoid. We only went in for a dessert, but were refused service in a very unpleasant manner. The staff responded arrogantly, telling us to go somewhere else, that there were "plenty to do." Disrespectful service and an unacceptable attitude. We certainly won't be returning and do not recommend this place.

24/07/2026: We ate there today in a lovely setting. The service was excellent, a special mention to Nelly, our wonderful waitress. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

04/06/2026: Today (June 4, 2026), around 11 PM, I ordered a fish fillet which was served almost cold and moldy! The manager reacted badly to my request for a refund and behaved unprofessionally, bordering on insolence. Please be careful not to be served rotten food!

03/06/2026: Forgot a bag of fries (the first one looked like yesterday's fries...).

03/05/2026: We had lunch as a family (5 people). The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, which was a real plus. All the staff were very attentive to our well-being from the beginning to the end of our meal. The amuse-bouches, the gratinated oysters, and the mixed fish platter were excellent and generous. The homemade desserts were also excellent and plentiful. Thank you for this wonderful, relaxing experience.

22/06/2026: The menus are original and the prices are reasonable. The set menus are €26.90 and €30.90. Let's hope these prices remain the same in July and August. A big thank you to the chef for his talent and excellent dishes. The servers are attentive. A restaurant worth discovering.

10/07/2026: We came this evening: 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child. The welcome was excellent, and the dining room and restrooms were very clean. We ordered tacos, kebab sandwiches, and a children's meal. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. Everyone was happy; the food was delicious! Thank you and best of luck!

10/04/2026: Honestly, I'm very disappointed. I was charged an extra €3 for meat! A two-meat taco is listed at €8. It's not the price I paid that bothers me, but the way they did it! I might as well just order a set menu instead of getting ripped off with overpriced extras. The worst part is that the price of the meat extras isn't displayed! Which is mandatory, by the way. When I pointed it out, there was no explanation, no gesture of goodwill, not even a minimal apology. It's my fault because I didn't ask the price 😂 I find this practice really questionable and completely unprofessional. Be careful before ordering.

03/08/2026: This american style diner is situated on the top floor of the Polygon Shopping Mall. We were there in the summer, so we ate on the terrace. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. The prices were also fair. About 16 Euros for a burger with fries and sauce. The staff was very friendly and spoke english. We ordered hamburgers - delicious, my kids ate the whole thing and we ordered the regular size burger, not the kids menu. I would definitely eat here again.

30/07/2026: We absolutely loved our meal at Le Chameau Ivre! Everything was superb, from the flavorful and generous portions to the dishes prepared with such care. Every bite was a true delight. A huge thank you to France for her exceptional welcome, her kindness, and her professionalism, which made us feel right at home. Thanks also to Jule, whose service, smile, and good humor made this wonderful experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

24/07/2026: A place recommended by acquaintances. More specifically, a very beautiful, somewhat intimate spot. An open kitchen where you see happy faces, passionate about their work. A wonderful team that delighted us. No extensive menu, but plenty of meticulous preparation and precise recipes. Well done, Madam, Gentlemen!

13/07/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews for restaurants. Generally, if I don't enjoy an experience, I simply don't go back. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about ten times. Admittedly, the food is always excellent, probably some of the best in Valras in terms of quality and taste. However, I've never found the owner particularly welcoming. Yesterday, I fainted on the beach, right across from the restaurant. Still feeling quite unwell, I asked if I could use their restroom just to splash some water on my face. The owner told me the toilet was blocked and sent me away without the slightest empathy. I didn't insist and left. So it's not the food I'm criticizing, but the lack of humanity I experienced at a time when I simply needed a little kindness. It's deeply disappointing.

03/05/2026: We've been coming here twice a year for years, and the welcome is always so friendly, the products are delicious and perfectly fresh. We're not about to change suppliers anytime soon! Keep up the good work, team, and don't change a thing! ❤️

30/05/2026: The campsite is very well maintained; the staff ensures everything is spotless every day (they even go so far as to resurface the gravel in certain areas each morning). The bungalow (premium version) is comparable to some of the more permanent accommodations you might find elsewhere, fully equipped even with an outdoor gas barbecue. The only downside is the dim interior lighting. It's a very quiet place, with no constant noise as the main roads are set back. Amenities include restaurants, a stage (with quality shows), a gym, a water park (the slides are fantastic), an indoor pool, a spa (shared with the adjacent naturist campsite, which has its sessions in the morning), bike rentals (two bikes were provided with the bungalow), a children's playground, a mini-market, a butcher, a bar/bakery, and direct beach access... Virtually everything you could want!

28/05/2026: We had a wonderful holiday here. We doubted whether such a huge campsite would suit us, but we enjoyed it. Beautiful pitches for the caravan, sanitary facilities were kept in excellent condition and were always neat, clean, and beautifully designed. Even in the low season, there were plenty of activities for the children, and these were organized professionally and fun. The food from the bakery, takeaway, etc., is all very tasty! The swimming pools are very nice and tidy, the sunbeds are comfortable, and the placement of the kids' playhouse next to the balneo was well thought out, so that as a parent of young children you can visit there too (the balneo was also very beautiful). The location right on the beach was the highlight. Beautiful beach and wonderfully close by. We will definitely come back here again.
