13/07/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews for restaurants. Generally, if I don't enjoy an experience, I simply don't go back. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about ten times. Admittedly, the food is always excellent, probably some of the best in Valras in terms of quality and taste. However, I've never found the owner particularly welcoming. Yesterday, I fainted on the beach, right across from the restaurant. Still feeling quite unwell, I asked if I could use their restroom just to splash some water on my face. The owner told me the toilet was blocked and sent me away without the slightest empathy. I didn't insist and left. So it's not the food I'm criticizing, but the lack of humanity I experienced at a time when I simply needed a little kindness. It's deeply disappointing.

23/08/2026: Nothing but positive things to say! I came this week, as usual, for the Reblochon cheese. I've been coming here for a while now and I'm never disappointed! The quality of the ingredients, the generous portions (the pizzas are topped with lots of filling), as well as the service and the friendliness of the owner are always excellent. Go for it!!

19/08/2026: After eating a chicken pizza from Le Mazet for dinner, my 14-year-old son developed a high fever of 41°C (104°F) and painful diarrhea the very next day. This lasted for several days. After testing, he was found to be infected with Campylobacter (a bacterium found in undercooked poultry). The owner of Le Mazet refused to take any responsibility. I strongly advise against going there.

19/08/2026: Excellent, a little haven of peace, a very warm welcome, it's cozy and calm, you always have a great time there and the food is absolutely delicious. The menu changes every month and it's always fantastic.

30/05/2026: The campsite is very well maintained; the staff ensures everything is spotless every day (they even go so far as to resurface the gravel in certain areas each morning). The bungalow (premium version) is comparable to some of the more permanent accommodations you might find elsewhere, fully equipped even with an outdoor gas barbecue. The only downside is the dim interior lighting. It's a very quiet place, with no constant noise as the main roads are set back. Amenities include restaurants, a stage (with quality shows), a gym, a water park (the slides are fantastic), an indoor pool, a spa (shared with the adjacent naturist campsite, which has its sessions in the morning), bike rentals (two bikes were provided with the bungalow), a children's playground, a mini-market, a butcher, a bar/bakery, and direct beach access... Virtually everything you could want!

28/05/2026: We had a wonderful holiday here. We doubted whether such a huge campsite would suit us, but we enjoyed it. Beautiful pitches for the caravan, sanitary facilities were kept in excellent condition and were always neat, clean, and beautifully designed. Even in the low season, there were plenty of activities for the children, and these were organized professionally and fun. The food from the bakery, takeaway, etc., is all very tasty! The swimming pools are very nice and tidy, the sunbeds are comfortable, and the placement of the kids' playhouse next to the balneo was well thought out, so that as a parent of young children you can visit there too (the balneo was also very beautiful). The location right on the beach was the highlight. Beautiful beach and wonderfully close by. We will definitely come back here again.

27/08/2026: A couple of friends and I tried this restaurant, which had been recommended to me. It was a great choice; it's truly a wonderful place. The excellent, refined, and generous cuisine, the warm welcome, the service, and the pleasant dining room (with plenty of space between tables) are what make the Delphinium so charming. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back.

26/08/2026: A gourmet restaurant with a comprehensive and diverse menu, including some rare dishes. High-quality cuisine made with excellent ingredients. An extensive wine list with a wide selection at all price points. And impeccable service, just as you would expect from a fine restaurant.

12/09/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent, inventive, and refined cuisine. Portions were perfectly sized for average appetites, but ample enough for senior diners! The service was friendly and attentive: no downtime, but not too rushed either.

14/08/2026: Best pain au chocolat I’ve ever had! This place was perfection, from the baked goods to the salads and service. Having lived in London, I could see the inspiration from the chef Ottolenghi and learnt the chef at Ikonka trained and worked with him in London for 3 years which you can tell with the impeccable flavours and consideration throughout the food. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Montpelier.
