22/07/2026: The setting is truly superb; the terrace is right at the foot of the Saint Clément aqueduct, which is a huge bonus. The food is very good in the evening.

01/08/2026: I have been coming here regularly for almost 20 years and for me it is the best Asian restaurant in Montpellier, an incomparable value for money, and a very warm welcome to boot.

16/09/2026: I usually enjoy this restaurant for its ambiance and cuisine. However, today the service was disastrous. Our order was taken after an hour and twenty minutes, and we had to ask again. Our meat was cooked rare instead of medium-rare. I wouldn't have left a review if the staff had been attentive, but instead, they simply avoided us and didn't look at us at all, instead of apologizing or even saying a few words. No gesture of goodwill whatsoever. So, obviously, a huge disappointment.

20/08/2026: Very, very disappointed. I didn't dare tell Monique directly, but the dishes are far too expensive for what they are. €19 for five tasteless prawns that barely register, and especially €28 for a sea bass that deserved to be cooked longer and seasoned much better. It came with three measly slices of potato, a salad with a very unpleasant white dressing, and a slice of completely tasteless tomato. All this without dessert for €50, including a 25cl Leffe beer. It's honestly very disappointing, especially considering that for the same price, there's a very good gourmet restaurant next door. It's a shame that the restaurant and the food don't reflect Monique's ever-smiling and cheerful nature, the only redeeming quality of the place.

25/08/2026: A particularly disappointing experience considering the €130 bill for two. For every simple request in the dining room, such as adding a scoop of ice cream or customizing a kir, the waiter simply turned on his heel without a word or even a nod to acknowledge understanding. We were also subjected to inappropriate and intrusive remarks about using our phones at the table, which is completely unacceptable in a professional setting. Finally, due to a simple mistake on our part when ordering (saying "à la carte" when our choices corresponded point by point to the set menu), we simply and diplomatically asked at the register if it was possible to adjust the bill. We were met with considerable aggression, under the pretext that the à la carte portions would be larger—something that was absolutely not apparent in the already meager portions on our plates. For a bill of this amount, the service and customer service should be impeccable. We will not return.

25/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, super fresh produce, so you have to pay a bit more, but it's worth it! The setting is lovely, I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: Having enjoyed a visit last year we were keen to return hoping for just as good a pizza as before. We were not disappointed. Wonderful warm welcome from the couple who appear to run the business. Very well presented, very clean, comprehensive menu. Everything you would expect from a professional take away business. We agreed a collection time and so when we returned we were presented with a freshly cooked pizza. The timing was perfect rather than what so often happens of the pizza being cooked earlier and been left sitting waiting for us to arrive. These guys are delivering excellent food in an excellent way. If I could give them 10 stars I would. See you next year. Merci beaucoup.

28/10/2025: Purchase made in store in Montpellier on 04/10. Out of 5 Scuro capsules, 3 are unreadable by my machine. The QR code is not recognized by my machine. This isn't the first time this has happened. Considering the price of the capsules and Nespresso's image, this is disappointing. I threw away 3 unusable capsules.

26/10/2025: We were greeted by Vincent, a fantastic barista! We tried pistachio, vanilla, and coconut milk coffees! 😋 😋 The staff were welcoming and very patient! Thank you!

30/08/2026: We came without a reservation... this restaurant/brasserie is really great... the colorful owner makes the rounds of the tables with a friendly, local manner... plus, the food is good and plentiful... the fish of the day... the gratinated mussels... the sardine rillettes... a very good local wine... and a smile to boot... we highly recommend it.
