14/12/2025: A must-stay in Balaruc-les-Bains. The owners offer a warm welcome, spacious rooms, and refined local cuisine served in generous portions, not to mention the traditional sauerkraut on Thursdays.
We greatly appreciate the hotel's welcoming atmosphere during our stays in Balaruc.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel Martinez.

23/09/2025: It's been 20 years since I've been back and frankly nothing or almost nothing has changed. The place is always very pleasant, close to the sea and shops. Our mobile home was very comfortable and spacious. The atmosphere is warm, the snack bar is great for a moment of relaxation. The staff is welcoming and attentive to vacationers. Thank you and see you next year.
27/08/2025: For our first time at this campsite, we were delighted to spend a week at Le Rieu. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, smiling, and welcoming.
The mobile home was very comfortable and had air conditioning.
We've stayed at several campsites in Marseillan and have rarely experienced such a warm welcome.
Stay just as you are, don't change a thing!

Day-old crepes served cold! Apple tart completely undercooked.
The service was okay, but the food was really bad.
For something as simple as crepes, it's quite surprising!
This place has changed a lot. What a shame.

I think if you can't stand noise and people, you shouldn't work in a bar…
This woman clearly doesn't know the meaning of politeness. If we hadn't ordered, we would have gone somewhere else.
It's a shame, we liked coming here. 🤷🏽♀️

16/02/2026: I just left and I'm writing this review to say it was very good. The staff was 10/10, the welcome and service were excellent, and they helped me with everything. Honestly, I recommend it to you. I'd already been there when I was in high school, and I came back to relive some youthful memories, and I'm so glad I did! 20/10, I'd even give it a 20/10.

09/11/2025: You eat on the terrace, yes or yes. The oysters and mussels are really very good. The price of wine per glass, I find it very expensive. They do some kind of formula of 3-6-9-12 oysters + glass of wine.
We also ordered some sardines in oil. They brought us a can of sardines (literally, in the can) at a price of €12. Oh, and the sardines were from Brittany!

A chocolate waffle, they tried to charge us €4.50 when it was only €4…
Extra banana, €2.50.
🤣🤣 Argument over the price…well, after someone intervened, we got a 50 cent refund.
Seriously…you tourists, go somewhere else…there are other ice cream, crepe, and waffle vendors…the season is off to a bad start…

17/03/2026: The Milanese escalope was really bad; the waiter told us he often gets complaints about this dish. And no attempt at compensation.
The decor included fake Parmesan wheels and fake ham made of plastic flowers... The carafe was chipped. In short, I won't be going back.

06/03/2025: We stopped at this cute hostel after my eye surgery. Very very nice discovery! The managers are wonderful people, warm and caring. I will long remember this beautiful and good floating island which really cheered me up after a difficult day. A warm and comforting setting perfect for eating well while feeling at home. I hope I have the opportunity to come back!
