25/09/2024: We had a great time. The starters and main courses are very good and plentiful!

14/09/2024: Beef dishes were exceptional, however the chicken and shrimp were overcooked. Someone in the kitchen area was loudly coughing and sneezing which detracted from the experience

13/09/2024: It may be the end of the season, but they really don't feel like it anymore. The iced coffee didn't taste like anything and the chocolate milk was water with powder. When I wanted to pay, she said: you already have the bill (she had apparently already placed it on the table with the drink). I said: “Fine, can I pay by card?” The response: “yes, what do you think the holiday is? You have to go inside to withdraw.” Unbelievable such a blunt and indecent response. UPDATE based on their response: I think this says it all and proves how little decency they have. See their other reactions to people who are dissatisfied and see that they have no respect for people who have taken the trouble to provide them with constructive criticism. They are lucky that there is little competition: in any other place they would already be bankrupt. After 50 years, their restaurant is coming to an end. DO NOT go there!

13/09/2024: Great restaurant with choice and good cocktails, free parking right in front, I tasted the best mojito in the resort. We had soups and a Wok of squid as well as prawns, it was a perfect first experience, pleasant service with funny and smiling waiters and waitresses, we will come back very quickly, the people of Bessan..

18/09/2024: Campsite chosen by chance and very pleasant surprise because it is a small family campsite, on a human scale! The pitches are spacious, the welcome warm! Refreshment bar with well-appointed terrace, ideal for a drink after returning from your walk! 2 minutes from the beach. The atmosphere is very calm! No swimming pool, no slide, no entertainment until late... a real campsite!

27/07/2024: Family and friendly campsite. In the heart of the city and close to shops and restaurants. Votee car will also have this vacation for the week. Everything is easy to access on foot. quick access to the beach. In a pleasant setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. In a family spirit. If you are looking for a calm and serene campsite, don't hesitate to go there. We will come back with the greatest pleasure. A big thank you for those unforgettable family stay.

16/12/2024: Big disappointment! Barely the aperitif, the starter already served and we continue without leaving time and yet we make the comment! Mussels without fries, roast potatoes! The service was not great, we felt like we were bothering us, we had taken the menu and only the fish soup brought us satisfaction! Dessert of the day, rice pudding not great, long rice not cooked. Dish of the day not great either. Really a disappointment

08/12/2024: Very disappointed My recent experience at this restaurant was disastrous. As soon as I arrived, the receptionist was unwelcoming, bordering on unpleasant. Next, the quality of the sushi really left something to be desired: the fish was not fresh, the rice was poorly cooked and the overall taste was bland. I expected much better for the price paid. I don't recommend this place.

25/10/2024: This superb restaurant is situated in part of the old abbey in the most delightful village. The restaurant is quite small giving it an intimate feel without feeling overcrowded. The food is of the highest standard. As far as I could see there was just the one chef and the waitress but somehow they managed to deliver the food , beautifully presented, to everyone. We started with an aperitif and amuse-bouche: a celeriac puree topped with a thin slice of radish, humous and a goats cheese “custard”( I’m not sure how best to describe it). All three were delicate and finely flavoured. For entrée I had a pumpkin soup with a poached egg in it. The soup was delicious and surprisingly the egg added a richer flavour to it and worked very well. There was a small rectangle of a type of bread accompanying the soup which likewise was delicious. My husband had a pork “pressé” a type of paté accompanied by salad which he also said was excellent. Both of us had shoulder of lamb for our main course accompanied by several small different vegetables, some n their original state ( a piece of cooked beetroot and a new potato) others made into mousse. All of the highest standard, extremely subtle and delicately flavoured. Finally I had a meringue pudding with poached pear and my husband a tart tatin. Everything was beautifully presented but not at the cost of taste which was delicious. The restaurant also has an impressive wine list of both local wines and others from further away. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough; from the friendly efficient service to the extremely high quality of the food. We had been there a year ago when it was equally good.

08/09/2024: Avec un accueil très chaleureux et un service très cordial, nous nous sommes vraiment régaler. La cuisine vraiment de haute volée, la carte des vins plus que suffisante et le tout dans un cadre et une terrasse pleine de quiétude. Une bonne surprise pour finir le repas, le choix des café est très éclectique avec différent café Brésilien, Colombien etc. Quand a l'addition pour une telle soirée, dérisoire. 09/09/2024: L'environnement et les serveurs sont agréables, mais la cuisine n'est pas à niveau. Sur les 2 commandes de moules, marinière et roquefort, très peu de sauce dans les poêlons, quasiment pas de roquefort, et de trop nombreuses moules encore fermées. Les pâtes aux St Jacques sont servies avec des pétoncles: pas très grave mais ce n'est pas la même chose. Un petit effort SVP, pour faire honneur au site et au tourisme.

31/08/2024: Table à peine propre, serveuses avec vêtements tachés, seiche à surtout ne pas prendre, pas du tout cuisiné aucun goût riz + que sec... à fuir

01/09/2024: Very disappointed all 3, noisy room, server not at all pleasant, he is also called the general! Just grilled vegetables and 2 fried eggs for the vegetable plate, for a chef! ...the other 2 plates poorly cooked, tough cuttlefish! Very disappointed we will not come back.

01/09/2024: The restaurant is part of the wine cooperative. You can order a matching wine with each dish. It's great fun to try different wines. All their own wines can be ordered by the glass.

05/09/2024: Très agréable moment repas sans fautes mais service un peu long et le passage au caveau a bien changé impossible de découvrir de nouvelles bouteilles donc nous sommes partis juste avec un carton de merlot vin que nous connaissons

05/09/2024: Bel endroit en plein cœur des vignes du domaine, grand parking, le restaurant se situe au 1er étage, belle salle bien ajourée, la cuisine est de qualité avec de bons produits de saison, un menu à 39 € a un bon rapport qualité-prix. Très belle carte des vins à tous les prix et tous les gouts. Le personnel de salle assure pleinement leur fonction avec le sourire, le service sans précipitation et la connaissance des produits servis. Nous avons ensuite pu acheter du vin que nous avons gouté à table au magasin de l’établissement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
